What angered me was the fact that they took an additional $12 out of my checking account. That's theft! I used my debit card not a credit car. With large price increases for the same plants rooted from mother plants, the mealy bugs on many of the plants, the overcharging then the theft..I'm definitely done with these folks. I'm someone who makes a point to be friendly and speak to people, but the staff seemed completely disengaged and, honestly, unhappy to be there. We were never greeted, never asked if we needed help, and after spending several hundred dollars, we weren't even thanked for our business. Customer service matters, and this was some of the poorest I've experienced anywhere. A simple "hello," "can I help you," or "thank you" goes a long way--especially in what I understand is a long-standing, family-owned business. I've already had someone ask me where to buy a tree, and I couldn't recommend this place. I would rather shop at places like The Home Depot, Pike Nurseries, or even a local farmers market where customer service is a priority. Sadly, I won't be returning.

Once I got inside I realized that it's basically a small Walmart. The only thing missing is the automotive department. Of course they don't have the same selection as a larger store like home Depot or Lowe's, but I quickly noticed that pretty much everything I needed for my small projects could be found here. After perusing the aisles for a while, I realized that I probably won't need to go to Walmart nearly as much. The staff is super friendly and the prices are on the low side. The gentleman in the lawn and garden section was very patient when educating me on garden plants. I highly recommend checking out Houston hardware and garden center before heading to one of the superstores in Warner robins. They probably have what you need here for cheaper.
