Roberts is really AdaptHealth. Their customer service does not listen and resolve issues without you calling back time and time again. Adapt health sent me the wrong machine, a Resmed Airsense 10 instead of their new Airsense 11. They said it was not specified by the doctor but there is no place on the prescription form allowing the doctor to do so. They sent me an Airsense 10 since that was in stock. They told me they would not bill Medicare until I signed for the machine. I did NOT sign for the machine, but they billed Medicare anyway. They said it would take 30-90 days before a refund could be sent to Medicare. To get this rectified I called Medicare and my Medicare supplement company and AdaptHealth again. They then said they will order the right machine but I need to wait for the scheduling folks to call. What if my Airsense 10 did not work after having it for 6 years? This process has taken a month. If I had severe sleep apnea, it would be a major health risk. Their customer service keeps passing the buck as to what they can do and what another department needs to do. It is frustrating and annoying. They often talk over you. Next time I am going with another company. read more

This company deserves a ZERO star rating. Three phone calls with an avg hold time of 40 mins to pick up my deceased moms rental bed. Zero empathy, as they never showed up to collect the bed nor bothered to call back as they promised. Instead of grieving, I'm spending far too much time chasing this company. Clearly collecting another month of rent is more important than doing the right thing for customers. Avoid, and call another medical provider. read more

So far, Not Good, At All! I'm trying to get something done to the CPAP machine I picked up last month. Five calls over two days and disconnected every time. The only good news is that on several of them they didn't keep me on hold, or transfer me around, for extended periods before disconnecting me. They disconnected me right after I got through the laborious phone answering process. They really should put a zero option on the rating. read more

Worst company EVER HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Gave us a used machine said I had to be there to be shown how to use it has to take off work they showed me nothing! They lost my insurance contract can't reach anyone on the phone they actually hang up on you when they don't have answers. Wait times are unreal. BEWARE of this company. I suffered horrible septic infection thanks to Frederick Health Hospital. Overnite stay on 01/15/2021. Woke up 05/18/21. Unable to walk now. Did Rehab at Community Rehab, using these marvelous light- weight wheelchhairs. Bought one from their supplier, RHM. Six months later at home, the right brake gave out. Called RHM here inin Frederick, MD. Fellow came 2 days later and replaced the entire brake. I enjoyed speaking with RHM very much read more

I ordered a replacement CPAP from them about 2-3 months ago. I'm still waiting. Dropped off all the paperwork they said they needed at the first visit. They looked it over and confirmed everything looked in order. I have called on it's status several times since then and have received several excuses -- "we're waiting on information from your doctor", then "we're waiting on insurance". Found out they put the wrong insurance in my file. Then found out later they put the wrong policy number in their system. Then was told they were waiting for information from my doctor again. Not ONCE did they reach out to me to check information or to ask for my input, or with a status update -- it was only when I called for an update that I would discover there was a roadblock. How can you be a medical supply company if you can't even deliver needed medical supplies? Bad business processes and NO customer focus. read more

I intend to report this company for MEDICARE FRAUD. If they are charging Medicare for this oxygen equipment that we have asked them to pick up for MONTHS then they are guilty of Medicare fraud. We have called, spoken with several people (Nicky was the most recent) who PROMISED to come pick it up. I will write a letter to them today, then report them. NO ANSWER for a half an hour of waiting on the phone, then another promise to come pick it up. read more

This is the worse company I have ever worked with. I started working with them a week in advance to get a device needed the immediate day after surgery. Their fax system is prehistoric and not once did they ever call me. The worse was after multiple calls the day before my surgery they promised to call and didn't, at 4:45pm I called them and the women said she could see the the materials were all there and she would put be on hold to check on the processing, etc, after 10 minutes on hold exactly at 5pm she hung up on me. The after hours number couldn't help either. I was super stressed the evening before my surgery. This is not Covid related, employees that do not care. I hope they go out of business. read more

Apparently when they send a wheelchair that doesn't work for a 90 year old woman, they won't take it back, but they'll charge her rent then send her to collections for nonpayment. Well, take your wheelchair back as requested, it doesn't work. She's called numerous times and now gets hung up on. 0 stars for customer service. read more

I don't recommend Roberts Home Medical. When it's time to order supplies it takes forever and they try to blame it on the insurance company. The insurance company calls them and then it's nobody is available to take care of the problem. I need for this company to get it together. Dealt with them over a year ago for a replacement Bipap unit. Had to jump thru an unbelievable amount of hoops with them saying I needed another sleep study. It had been 9 years since my first sleep study so i got a complete copy of the study and faxed it to them. I finally got approval and had a very hard time locating their office (they have since moved to a Stafford County location but everything on line says they are still in Central Park location.) After having the machine for 12 months that should have been all they billed, But guess what? They continued to bill and MWMA refused to pay Will never do business with them again . I had a 245 Appointment and when I walked in the receptionist said my appointment wasn't until 330. They called me this morning. I went here looking to get a CPAP supplier that was near me. Had trouble finding the office. Once found, I checked in with the front desk lady who appeared to be the front desk to multiple business, as it did not seem like I was in a medical facility, and the people next to me appeared to be talking home buying. The receptionist had me sit in the waiting area and went to find someone. That someone came back out to the waiting area and conducted all of my business right there in front of everyone waiting. Discussed why I was there, discussed insurance, took my ID cards and went away to make copies and then came back. This guy had hands like rancher and dressed the same. I had no idea what the front is, but the office/people, and business is not business. When I left, he said "If you don't hear back from us by next week, call the office and see what happened with the insurance." I never heard from them again. Meanwhile, everyone in the waiting room understands my CPAP history. Nice People, but I'll do my business in a more professional setting. read more

This company is just like all the other medical supply stores in Fredericksburg. It's just useless. The patient has to keep up with their supplies and call them requesting them. My doctor sent a new prescription on Dec 2nd for my husband and myself for new cpap masks. We are still waiting. We had been using a company in Richmond and they were prompt and had their act together. We only switched as our doctor said Roberts now could provide our supplies. Any medical supplies you may need and they have look elsewhere if you can because they will lie to you and deceive you about who they are and the service they provide. If I could rate them any lower I would. Promise you equipment at certain time and 2 months later your still chasing it down and they are professional at pointing fingers even when you prove them to be lying. Please find another medical supply company. So bad I almost gave up my CDL Commercial Driver's License) so I wouldn't have to deal with them for my cpap machine my dr (and insurance company) ordered me to use to keep my CDL. The company is very shady. My doctors office submitted a medical supply order with Robertson medical but they never contacted me to complete the order. I've called and left messages for a return call just to be given the run around . They only communicated with my doctors office and was given a different story every time. From change of management to blaming me for not returning their phone call. I never received any message. I also confirmed the contact number given to Robertson medical from the physician. I finally had to seek another medical supplier for service. read more

My experience with Roberts Home Medical is two-fold. First, I was called by the office in Pennsylvania to tell me the machine my doctor ordered was completed and I needed to call a number to arrange delivery. The people in the call center were aloof, short in answers, and not very helpful. The first person who answered the phone acted like I was really ruining his day calling. He transferred me to another person who was playing it really close to the vest in answering my questions. I am really sorry I had to call and arrange delivery. I didn't mean to annoy these two people so much. After I was told by the second person I basically had to take a day off from work to wait for delivery, after much prodding I learned I could pick it up myself. When I asked where I could pick it up, I was told at Roberts Medical. That was it. No directions. No phone number. Nothing. I had to pry out the location from the person I was speaking with. Which, by the way, was still very evasive. I had to go on Google Maps to find the location. I arrived at my appointed time and spent a good twenty minutes trying to find the location of the business in this three story office building. Once I found the location, my experience changed completely. The therapist David met me in the lobby. He was congenial, informative, and made me feel like I was important. He explained in great detail how my machine worked, who to call if I have questions, made sure the mask fitted correctly, and when I left, I was confident I could do this at home. (which I did with minimal confusion). I appreciated the time David took with me and my suggestion is that he goes to the call center and train the people on the phones in what good customer service is! read more
