Fields Family Eye care was the closest optometrist so I went straight there for help. Not only were they THE friendliest business I've had the pleasure to have visited...they put new nose pads on, cleaned the glasses & tightened all the micro-screws too. We visited a bit and there was NO charge. I asked them what they wanted for Christmas and was on my way in just a few short moments. I was on the phone with the staff while pulling into the parking lot and asked if they could still accommodate me. I genuinely hoped for a little flexibility, especially after waiting three months for this appointment. But they refused and were told to reschedule. The next available is 1.5 months out. This was already a rescheduled appointment, since my first appointment had been cancelled when the doctor suddenly became unavailable. Very frustrating experience.

Turns out the associate was down one of the isles, had ear buds in and likely did not hear me at the counter. When he arrived he seemed very confused and was only able to find 2 packs of my developed film. I will go back to the store to hopefully get the rest of my pictures, but after that I likely will take my business elsewhere. The front counter was a total mess...stuff sitting everywhere. My Doctor recommended Stafford Pharmacy that Dr. Kobe Boakye owns and operates. He is the kindest gentleman! He had my medicine in stock, was able to process my insurance quickly and fill my script. Dr. Boakye is clearly a seasoned pro; he explained my medication instructions, availed himself to questions and assured me the current medications I am taking would not negatively interact with the script he filled for me. Stafford Pharmacy is unique from chain drug stores in a number of positive ways. It carries specialty items and offers specialty services that include: delivery, medical equipment, compounding and an assortment of over the counter meds as well as herbal supplements. Instead of my transaction being processed by a teenager, or even a Pharmacist, a Pharmacologist tended to me and the customer service was excellent! In fact, I forgot my insurance card and Dr. Boakye called me himself and offered to drop it in the mail. If you find the wait at Giant or CVS obnoxious and would feel more confident with a gentleman that holds a PhD in Pharmacology...Dr. Boakye and Stafford Pharmacy will become your trusted, primary provider.

When we finally were acknowledged the shop owner did take a few minutes to talk with her about her needs. After mentioning that she wanted human hair, which they do not carry, the shop owner was quick to imply that she didn't think we would be able to afford it. She told us to look around but she probably couldn't help us today and she "might be able to get to us after I finish with the other people". Regardless, we decided to wait and try on a few hats and wigs while we did. Well that didn't work out either because we were asked not to try on any wigs!!! In a wig shop! We were very rudely told there was a sign saying not to and when we searched for it and mentioned there wasn't a sign, we were ignored!! They were willing to do one step at a time and educated me on why and how the changes would work. The work was done in a timely manner. I took the bike back for a problem shifting after the repair and they walked me through that problem (which I had created, not them) and did not charge me for the education and pretty quick fix. really happy with the customer service.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with their optical dept. I ordered a pair of glasses but…read morewhen I tried them on, they were markedly crooked and ill-fitting. I had tried the same frames on in-store and they had fit perfectly. These, however, were way off. When I explained this to the fitter, my concerns were completely ignored. I was told my face was "asymmetrical". While that may be true, I have worn glasses since childhood and am not manifestly deformed in any significant way. This ridiculous clerk continued to tell me that the lenses had deformed the frames so this was how they were supposed to fit. I've bought $5 readers from COSTCO that fit better. After a few rounds of further gaslighting, I gave up. No offer to adjust the frames was made. No other solution was offered. No real customer service was offered. The "manager" was of zero help, except to walk me to the counter to refund my money. Just a complete waste of time. It's a shame because Dr. Rose is lovely and as good as they come but the optical dept is a tire fire. Avoid at all costs.
