After cortisone shots and an eventual MRI, I was told that I do not have a tear or anything else that can be fixed with surgery, and given a prescription for physical therapy. I was not happy about this at all - I wanted a quick fix to be pain free and thought (naively) that surgery was the answer. I live close to Spectrum, so based on physical proximity (and the recommendation of a friend) I made an appointment with Corey. Long story short, I am in 95% less pain, sleep all night through again, and have far more range of motion than I did a few months ago. Therapy is as much fun as working hard can be, but we DO laugh (often) and I AM so much better than I was. The facility is clean, well-lit, and the bathroom is clean, too. Corey seem to have all the requisite tools, AND the necessary expertise. He is not just competent and trained in his field, he is so contagiously passionate about health and fitness! I would unequivocally recommend Corey and Spectrum.

When speaking to the office manager this morning explaining that the Dr. that referred me had 100% of the information that they were asking me to provide them, I said, "Well that's f-ing stupid." The office manager said that I swore. If I had sworn, I'd have said FUCK. Now that she's all twisted, she is saying that I cannot receive care at their facility. Fuck them.

The rooms are a bit dated but the staff is friendly, especially Daniel who seemed to make it his job to be pleasant, friendly and fun. The PT department was very good also. If you or your loved one needs placement for rehab services, this is a decent, clean, pleasant smelling facility that does not have a "nursing home" feel.
