I love, love, love these guys! Flagstaff had a pretty significant back order on the pop up camper I wanted... Roberts Sales pulled through for me, more than making up for the time I spent waiting on my camper to come in. First there's Mark. Such a sweet guy! He went through every detail of the contract and price points, even talked me out of some options and explained how and where I could save money. Then there is Dave... he spent 3 hours teaching us how to work the camper and the tow (I'm a newbie to the camper life). Since having my Flagstaff 176.... Very satisfied with the experience we had at Roberts sales. This small family owned business does business well. Each employee we interacted with was very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable. We had went to a few other dealerships over the week before trying to find something that worked for us. Other dealers had much more limitations due to COVID, prices were higher for similar trailers and didn't have much variety of the style we were looking for. We wanted to get the trailer in time for the holiday weekend, so we were cutting it close on time. Roberts Sales had great options with good prices. They were able to get us the trailer just in time for our trip. The camper worked smoothly the entire trip. Frank was great showing us our different options and was able to answer all of our questions. David did a wonderful job showing us how everything works on the trailer. I would give them 5 stars on the sales, the price and the information at time of pickup. I would give them 5 stars for shipping ordered items when ordered. However, I give them 1 star in followup on a possible warranty claim. I sent photos and Mark looked them over and agreed they showed some delamination on the roof. The trailer was purchased 1 Oct 2012. The first message with photos was sent 8/26/2016, well within the five year roof warranty, I received a reply 8/31/2016, from Mark, stating he was still waiting for an answer from FR. On 9/23/2016, I wrote Mark again with a long email, first asking if FR had approved or disapproved the warranty work. Also included a question in regard to trading it in and purchasing a new one. I never received a reply. On 11/27/2016, I admittedly sent a rather sarcastic email stating in the heading...."I take it FR has denied fixing my roof"....with a statement in the text "Since I have not heard back." I never received a reply. Maybe it was a bit too sarcastic; not sure. Not sure if I really care anymore. Up until this time, I probably would have considered purchasing another trailer from Roberts; however, now, I would not purchase another trailer from Roberts for two reason. The after sales warranty help is non-existent, and why purchase another FR (Flagstaff) product if they fall apart only after four years of service. I will say that this is not the only problem with the unit. Second time I took it camping the gear in the roof winch motor shattered. I had to pay to have it fixed, but I was reimbursed by FR within a month. This was not the fault of Roberts Sales. Fridge has had to be repaired, water pump went out, winch motor eventually replaced. Granted these are not the problems of Roberts sales, and when these items were fixed the warranty was over with. However, the roof supposedly has a five year warranty, and it appears either Forest River refuses to repair, or Roberts sales has let the matter drop. This is something I don't know for sure since I receive no replies to my messages. This is from the owner manual that clearly shows the roof was (is) under warranty. "Forest River Inc. further warrants, to the original purchaser, that the roof, tent and frame, are free from substantial defect, from the factory, in material and workmanship, for a period of five (5) years for parts, and three (3) years for parts and labor, from the date of purchase, under normal use conditions, effective with 1996 models." Will admit at this time, I probably voided the warranty since I applied caulk where the delamination is present just to make sure it does not leak. But there was not much else to do with lack of response. If you read this, Mark. Yes, I am not only mad, but disappointed. At one time I really thought you were a good dealer. read more

Three years ago Roberts Sales serviced our Jayco pop up camper for a reasonable price and did an excellent job. Mark was great to work with and they completed the job quickly. One year ago we decided to sell our camper and Mark agreed to take it on consignment. Even though our Jayco was not a brand that Roberts Sales carries and selling our camper would likely mean one of theirs would not be sold in that transaction, Mark contacted us soon after to tell us our camper was sold to a family for a good price. The check was sent to us immediately afterwards. We trust and enjoy working with Roberts Sales to the point that when I had unexpected light issues with my horse trailer one afternoon I pulled into their business lot. Mark took the time to troubleshoot the light issues (apparently in both the truck fuses and in the lighting bar on the trailer) because Roberts Sales takes care of their customers. The best buying experience hands down. First met them at the RV convention where they took time out of their very busy schedule to sit and talk to us like we were humans and not a potential paycheck. They were very patient and explained everything to us and the pros and cons of every detail. When we visited their lot and looked at everything they had, they let us look and test everything from how to put the stabilizers down, to putting the slide outs in and out and the top of the pop ups up and down. We took up hours of their time on the lot and they were so patient and explained everything to us newbies. When we finally came back to actually buy our dream camper they gave us a tutorial that was thorough and was very patient with all of our endless questions and schedule changes. They even helped us when we were nervous pulling the trailer off the lot. Very happy with the quality of service and personal attention that was never pushy or rushed or made us feel like a walking paycheck to them. After searching for information online about pop-up campers, we visited Roberts Sales to look at several models. Many months later, we chose a model and called them to reserve a camper until we could drive to Denver to pick it up. All of the staff at Roberts Sales was most helpful and patient with our many questions. The price was reasonable and service excellent. When we picked it up, Dave spent almost 4 hours with us explaining all of the features and how they worked. They also replaced several of the manufacturers parts with upgraded parts they they felt were of higher quality. We have since called with questions several times and they are most patient and willing to help. We appreciate the service and attention to detail. We purchased a used pop-up from Roberts Sales and would highly recommend them. It is a family run business and the customer service is top-notch. Before we drove off the lot one of the owner's son's gave us his personal cell number to use if we had any issues our first time out. After we used it we noticed some Velcro and a window pane was loose. We called to schedule service, but instead they told us to just come in whenever and they would fix it free on the spot. We did just that and the owner's two sons stopped what they were working on to make the small repairs. In 20 minutes we were on our way. We have been out camping about 8 times with our young kids and the pop-up has already given us great memories to cherish. read more

We discovered Robert Sales and their terrific website when we were searching online for answers to our questions on tent pop up trailers and their routine maintenance. We were so impressed with their informative site and their customer service on the phone, that we made the 100 mile round trip drive to Denver to have them do a maintenance repack on the bearings on our pop trailer wheels. We will continue to go back to them in the future for parts and service because they are so great! They take the time to explain how the components on the camper function and how to keep things in great working order, so that it is fun to go out on the road. These folks are fantastic to work with. We did a rental and then a purchase. They are extremely friendly, honest, and accommodating. On the rental, I was a fool and forgot to attach a cover plate which was lost to the wind on the highway and despite my insistence, they wouldn't let me pay for it. Based upon our browsing, they custom ordered a camper just on the hope or assumption that we might want it so as to not make us wait if we chose to buy, and we did! They define what good customer service is. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Lastly, unlike most places they don't play games on their price. What it is says what you pay, and they are very fair, not to mention they apply certain upgrades automatically because they want you to have the best experience. read more

Beware of Roberts Trailer Sales! I rented a pop up trailer from them & had a disastrous experience. Not only was the experience terrible, but their customer service was even more deplorable. To summarize: 1. The latch on the door of the pop up came loose & we lost luggage & camping gear along the way. Of course, they had provided no key to lock the door & we continually had to use duct tape throughout our vacation to keep the door closed so we didn't lose anything else. 2. They forgot to give us the battery we rented to power the pop up, but had not realized it until we were a significant distance from Colorado & it was getting dark. Thus, we had to rent a hotel room at a substantial cost for our family. 3. The heater in the pop did not work. Their solution was to take the thermostat off & touch two wire together. Image having to continually get up all night to touch two wires together in order to keep our family from freezing. A young boy had broken the thermostat when we picked up the pop up, but they say it was fully functional when I drove off. Really? Then how come it didn't work? If all of this isn't bad enough here's the kicker. They blamed US for all of the problems. Yes, you read that right, it was our fault. While they did reimburse us for the battery we had to buy,everything else was our fault. No compensation for all the lost clothes, luggage, personal items & hotel cost even though we demonstrated the door latch would come open. It was our fault that a plastic piece was left in the new thermostat causing it to not work-even though we knew nothing about how a thermostat works. No apology for ruining our family vacation. So, even though they may be a little less expensive, this business is unethical & has terrible customer service so I highly recommend not using them. The reply from the business supports what my review indicates. They blame the customer. Interestingly, they indicate we didn't follow instructions but we videoed all during the presentation to ensure we knew how to operate everything. So much for that excuse. read more

STAY AWAY! I rented one of Roberts Sales popup campers for a family vacation. To start with when we picked up the camper the person helping us left multiple times to tend to phone calls and was gone for 15 minutes at a time. What was supposed to be a 1 hour instruction, hookup time took 1.5 hours. He also left to help other customers. I then returned my camper (very clean) and they charged me $40 to clean up some mystery sand. I offered to do it my self with their vacuum and they told me I was responsible for my own cleaning supplies. The funny thing I noticed was that on the rental sheet they state that you are to return the camper clean with no sand on the floor or in the cushions. I find it funny that is exactly what they said was dirty. The rental price was reasonable but when they flat out steal money from you, not so much. These people are crooks and I would not recommend renting, buying or even visiting this business. They never even asked how the rental was and if I was happy. Obviously an extra $40 was much more important then repeat business and referrals. So my advise is go down the road. read more
