Unfortunately, RMCV will be the recipient of my first negative review. I waited to post this, as the situation left me feeling sketched out, but I think folks need to know what they're potentially getting into if anything goes wrong during their rental. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a business. We received callous, indifferent treatment after being the victim of a crime on their property. I know we're in a collective state of post-pandemic agitation & many of us are not the best version of ourselves right now, but their response fell below my standards of basic human decency. I do hope this will motivate them to look inwards and do better by their customers in the future, but I feel like we were punished for supporting their business. My sister and I rented the Promaster for a week. We were invited to leave my personal vehicle on their locked, gated private property during this time. The gate was covered with a tarp, obscuring the vision of what's inside, with barbwire and signs saying security camera in use. Upon our return, I learned that my catalytic converters were stolen, with additional damage done to the car. When we called Steve (manager), he was bizarrely unhelpful and couldn't be bothered to physically come on site to help us navigate the situation. He said it's, "no different than if a break in occurred at a grocery store . . . that if it happened there it wouldn't be expected that they come out to call the police & file your claim for you." I disagree. I would never leave my car parked unattended for a week at a supermarket & had they made it clear it wasn't safe on their property, I wouldn't have left it there. We were also told that we signed a contract releasing them of any liability in this situation. In addition, the security camera footage was not made available to us. Without it, the police were unwilling to investigate, leaving us with no option to pursue the perpetrators. Erin and Boyd (owners) were equally unkind and unhelpful. Boyd told us, "he couldn't be held accountable for the actions of crackheads." He talked over us in a raised voice & almost seemed angry at being put in the situation. The whole conversation had very victim blamey vibes. If anything, he should've felt grateful that his vans didn't get targeted along with mine & have been willing to help out. Boyd did mention that he didn't charge us for one extra day, since we returned the van a day early and how this action alone made him "a good guy." As an afterthought, he also shared the name of his mechanic and said he, "hoped they will give us a discount if we mention his name." In my mind this was a non-solution. In fairness, our experience wasn't all bad. The van got us where we needed to be, while providing shelter. The big pro was that the poptop enabled us to have our own space at night. Fridge was nice too. While not filthy, we did need to wipe everything down before leaving for our trip. Bedding was also questionable as to cleanliness, so I'd recommend bringing your own. Van struggled going over 45mph uphill in the mountains. We weren't in a rush, so no big deal, but know you'll be chugging up hill, in case that's an issue for you. Overall, we had fun & had the trip not ended the way it did, we may've considered renting again. It seems like these guys are capitalizing on the vanlife trend without actually embodying the spirit of it. While I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that their response was fear driven since a crime occurred on their property, it still felt awful to be on the receiving end of their treatment. Had they shown some genuine empathy & concern for what occurred & been willing to at least meet us half way, not because they were legally obligated to do so, but because it's the morally sound choice, it would've made all the difference. I'm sure if the roles were reversed & this happened to them, they would've been reeling. If you are going to rent from them, I hope you have an amazing time, but don't assume they'll have your back if you have any issues. And don't park on their property!

Boyd and the team did a fantastic job! We rented the Eurovan Full Camper and couldn't have been happier - picked it up in Vegas and drove to Southwest Utah to explore Zion, Dixie National Forest and Bryce Canyon for my 30th bday with our pup. The RV was well equipped and performed well - just be sure to really go over the driving and equipment details of the campervan thoroughly. Didn't realize the auto tranny required a half-click on the shifter to drop it into 3rd for going up hills. Called Boyd, he picked up right away to explain and we were good to go. Highly highly recommend!

We had the luxury of taking out "Bertha" for a quick weekend get away to Angel Fire, New Mexico. Boyd, the owner, was super friendly and detailed when we picked up the van- giving detailed instructions on how to care for and operate Bertha! Bertha drove nicely to our destination and was easy to set up and equipt with all the necessities for the weekend (pots/pans/plates/wine cork, ziplocks, foil, etc). There was plenty of space for our small family to sleep comfortably and the black out shades made it ideal to catch up on some much needed rest! Especially enjoyed running water and counter space to prepare meals. Our camping adventures have changed now that we've had a taste of van life! Can't wait for the next adventure and to continue to support this awesome local family business! Thank you for a great weekend.

It was our first time in a campervan and it took a day to get into the groove but we loved it the flexibility and laid back vibe.

Both Victor and Chris are friendly throughout the whole process! We took the 25' one slide out for the week and with two people it was easy to drive overall and easy to find places to stay and to boondock. They were available if we had questions about the vehicle or wanted recommendations on where to go along our trip. The unit was a 2017 so pretty clean and up to date. There was plenty of space for us to store our stuff and to bring a week's worth of groceries to cook as well. We set our sights on going to Yellowstone and Jackson via the east entrance but being the second week of Oct it ended up snowing and the entrances were closed. We stayed safe and warm in the RV while we waited it out in Cody, WY for 2 days and then slowly made our way back to Denver. We'd recommend these guys for anyone looking to rent an RV or travel trailer (pull behind) as they have several models to choose from. We'll be back to tent another next year for another adventure!

The rental company we had reserved a van with did not have a van available. They were not able to explain why the van I had reserved was not ready for my crew. We were stranded in the rental area without transportation. Mr. Chancy Quarles, the manager of Mile Marker Rentals overheard my conversation and approached me to help. He reviewed his inventory and was able to provide a 12-passenger van for my crew. He even matched the price, although he did not have to. When we returned, I dropped off my crew at the airport and returned the van. He drove me back to the airport so I could be with my crew without having to wait for the shuttle. I highly recommend giving Mile Marker Van Rentals a call if you need a van. They also provide local outdoor tours. Thank you Mr. Chancy Quarles for taking care of my crew.

I just saved a trip to Elkhart!!…read more We live in a Thor Palazzo RV full time. We've been stranded multiple times because we couldn't get our right (kitchen) slide to retract. We discussed this with Thor and they suggested we come back to the factory to get it addressed. We couldn't decide if it was alignment our the controller. With winter, we opted to deal with it until spring. Over the past 4 weeks, we were again stranded 3 times. The first time, Thor service gave us a tip on reversing the wiring at the controller (under the right side bay). That worked and got us on the road. The next stop had the same issue and again we were stranded. A local mechanic showed me a process to override the controller and again got us on the road. We recently hit Denver for two weeks so I began looking for a way to get it fixed. After three calls to Lazy Days RV which were never returned, I talked to a Overall RV. They were helping me with a frozen valve in the water bay. Turns out the tech was the owner...he and his partner did slide alignments at Camping World for years. They looked at my slide and measured the alignment. I was off by more the 1 1/2 inches, top to bottom putting a strain on the motors and the controller. They gave me an estimate to fix it on site. The cost to drive to Elkhart IN along with continued frustration made my decision easy... two hours later, they aligned the slide, checked the controller and motors, lubbedd the tracks, checked the rollers and tested the slide at least 8 times. They ended their appointment by telling me they reduced my expense by $200! Because only one end of the slide was off track, their labor was less... Oh and they did this work on New Year's Day! A huge shout out to Overall RV Service in Denver CO. They walked me through every step of the process so I would understand what they were doing and how I could keep up with maintenance going forward. They never said a negative word about Thor or the Palazzo and demonstrated a strong knowledge of the rig and systems. Awesome job and keeps us on the road! We love our Palazzo. There are things I can and cannot do on my own. When we find a good technician and honest business, we do our best to let the folks know. If in this area and need help, give them a call... I'm back on the road tomorrow!! Happy New Year!
