If I'd make any changes or suggestions, it would only be a bit more guidance in the drop off at a different location. I expected the booths in springs to be open late and was left a little puzzled. After some digging I figured it out just fine though! They abide by state laws, while also not being too terribly greedy. I walked over after a bad experience with the competition next door, and was surprised at how easy it was for a walk in / same day rental! I ended up saving money in the long run with them too. Awesome team over in Denver and COS! Definitely earned my loyalty for the next time I need a rental.

There, I was told that even with the toll pass, I still had to pay for the tolls and that what I bought when getting the toll pass was for the "service." Needless to say, I was furious, since I would not have used toll roads if I had been told I was just paying for the toll pass "service." I still don't understand what that service is. Do not use Alamo's toll passes. It is a scam. BTW, Alamo, National, and Enterprise are all linked together, so you will be scammed the same way.

I rented a car several weeks ago and not only did it take a ridiculous amount of time to get through the long line, it took even longer for the staff to find the 2 car seats I rented so we were just standing outside in the hot sun forever. Many employees were just standing around doing nothing. After dropping the car off at the end of the rental I thought I was done with Budget but no such luck. A few days later I get hit with close to $4,000 charge on my account. The employee at the drop off location clearly dropped the ball and didn't scan the car in correctly so they thought I still had the vehicle and was extending. It has taken countless phone calls and hours of my time to reverse this terrible mistake made by the budget staff. Not only that, but after the first charge finally was reversed over a week later, a few days after they hit me AGAIN with a $3,800 charge. COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE. After again many phone calls and frustration, I disputed the charge with my CC company and they only then finally reversed it on their end. BEWARE OF BUDGET!!!! Save yourself the nightmare of renting with Budget and use any other car rental company. WORST EXPERIENCE AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

Our experience with Fox Rent A Car was extremely disappointing from start to finish…read more At pickup, the salesman was very pushy with upselling -- pushing vehicle upgrades, prepaid fuel, and toll coverage. He told me the toll charge was $13, but failed to clearly explain that it was $13 per day, which felt very misleading. What made it worse was that I was asked to initial everything on a digital screen without being shown a clear breakdown of charges. After receiving the printed contract and reviewing it, I was honestly disgusted by how much I had been upsold. The vehicle we rented -- a Nissan Pathfinder -- was substandard and very dirty inside and out. While the car functioned fine for our four-day weekend and got us where we needed to go, the cleanliness and overall condition were unacceptable. Return was smooth, but once again there was an attempt to upsell -- this time offering a $20 charge to take our rental back to the airport. We declined. The shuttle service itself was decent, but the wait time from the airport to the rental facility was extremely long and overcrowded. They eventually had to call for additional buses. Overall, we were very disappointed with the entire experience and will not be using Fox Rentals again.

She didn't think the Nissan we rented was big enough for 2. It was actually big enough for 5. We were allowed to extend our rentals longer, with no problem. After we extended it, our relatives were visiting offered us the use of their car so Routes gave us a full refund for the days we didn't use when we returned it early. The person at the desk said to bring it back at 1/2 tank. Ok, no problem. When I got to the vehicle, the gas gauge read below a quarter of a tank. The odometer read 15057. I took a photo of the dash noting the gauge and mileage. I went to the check out gate, the attendant took photos as well of the dash and noted,"Wow, only 69 miles worth of gas in the tank" (as also indicated in the dash) "There's a gas station just down the road." She said no worries, we'll note the discrepancy for when you return the vehicle. I finished my trip, returned the car with just a bit less than 1/2 of a tank and left. About an hour later I got my invoice via email and they charged me a fuel charge because I brought it back with less gas than I started with. I replied to the email with the pictures I took of the dash and the inspection sheet I filled out indicating that the tank was near empty. I also told them that their gate attendant took pictures and noted the discrepancy for my rental file. They refuse to refund me for the gas they charged me for. These people are corrupt, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

So our experience with SIXT has been great for the times we have used them (CA, AZ, CO). From the free upgrades to the wonderful folks we have met. CO is no exception. The folks were so friendly. Even with the bit of snafu we had with our reservation not showing in the system everyone was still focused on great customer service. And from someone who comes from a CS background I am always paying attention to the service. So for the folks who want to b$$$ and moan and write their reviews, I challenge you to write about the wonderful CS experiences you have as well.
