Also, emptying the cassette toilet is not as straight forward as they make it. I did exactly as instructed, even shook it and was still was informed is was not cleared out. There must a trade secret here that was not shared with us. Also beware of the rule of no smoking. My partner does smoke but did not smoke in the van or anywhere near the van but we will still be charged a cleaning fee because my partners clothes absorb that odor and the company states that that odor in in the van. Mind you we brought our own bedding and mattress protector too. Finally. mother nature took her turn at June and at Badlands swiped the passenger door clean open. It happens, repair her and send her to amother adventure. All said and done I would have rather put June through the adventure than my vehicle.

The over-the-roof tent is one of the best in class and held up very well in windy 30-40 degree nights. Everything we needed and more was included as part of the equipment/gear, which helped us avoid a stressful preplanning and the usual 'crap, we should've brought that'. This was also our first time in Colorado, and the personalized recommendations from Travis turned out to be the highlights of our entire trip. What has been evident from the beginning are the heart and passion that Travis brings to every aspect of the rental experience -- pre-rental survey, local tips and recommendations, thoughtful gears and equipment (and day-of add on's), and a genuine commitment to the best customer experience. I received call about an hour before my scheduled service to say they were on their way and they arrived a few minutes before schedule. He got aggressive with his pricing, tossing in a free day b/c we were heading out on the road Saturday, but picking it up Friday afternoon. Upon returning it clean, he also waved the additional mileage fees (which we most certainly used). Although we didn't get the RV we initially wanted b/c the owner smashed up its side refueling, we were very happy with the Class A we ended up in. It was VERY clean and even had the LP topped off free of charge (as promised, we weren't charged for the LP we used all week) In a nutshell, we got first class service, a full overview of the entire RV, and had zero problems. I was needing a motorcycle trip with a friend but friend no have motorcycle. This made me sad. Ok,…read moreenough with the bad grammar and silliness. We did a little poking around on the net and came across Tourbikes.com. Neither of us wanted the typical loud Harley, we wanted something more geared toward a sport touring bike. Tourbikes.com fit the bill. They have several different styles of BMW along with a Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, a Suzuki, and a Can Am Spyder. The rental includes, helmet/helmets, raingear, tour bags for the bike, and optinoal GPS for a minimal charge. Bill, the owner, takes care of the motorcycles and keeps them in tip top running condition. We rented the BMW F650GS Twin, which wasn't the nicest bike he had but it suited our needs just fine. The hand warmers were wonderful for the night ride and trips to the summits. I weigh in at 220, plus had another 50 or 60 lbs of gear, 6'-1" and the bike handled beautifully. If you are shorter, say 5'-5" the bike is a little difficult to mount and dismount but once you are on it you should still be able to comfortably touch the ground. It had plenty of power for the mountains. But enough about the bike and more about the business. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable about not only the bikes but where to go and what to see in Colorado. The only downside that I could ever find is that you need to call about a 1/2 hour ahead to meet up with him at the store. This is such a miniscule inconvenience I almost did not mention it. But that is what Yelp is for, to get all of the details on a business. Do not let this small detail deter you from renting here!!! You WILL NOT be dissapointed. The prices were about the same if not just slightly cheaper than the other business we checked. I am betting though that if you go to one of the other larger rental shops that you could be stanging around waiting your turn to get on the bike and ride. Not here! We were in and out in just a few minutes. NOT THAT I SUGGEST DOING THIS but I was able to contact Bill late in the night to ask a few questions about renting the bikes. I believe it was 8 or 8:30. Anyway, he was extremely easy to contact and to talk to about the details of the rental. We will be renting again soon. He has a nice stable of BMWs. He includes bags with all of his bikes, which is a great addition for those of us planning a multi-day tour. Also, this bike has a taller aftermarket windshield that provided good body coverage, and the slipstream over the top did not interfere or cause turbulence for my full face helmet. Heated grips and accessory power for heated vest were welcomed, as temps were 40s-50s, spring in the mountains! Also, the bike already had a RAM mount ball on the handlebars, so I was able to mount some accessories I brought. Will definitely rent again.
