Despite the lifetime warranty, the previous tint place no longer tinted cars, so I was SOL. I started to look around and ask different tint vendors regarding tint removal and retint. I priced it out and asked about the XPEL XR. Turns out not too many tint places use the nano ceramic hybrid tint I had put on the car. Well now I know. Blue's Glass Tinting was super responsive on Yelp and had reasonable pricing. And they are located close to where my brother now lives. I told my brother to make an appointment and they booked him about a week out. We sent in a deposit for the appointment. Well he dropped off the car today and got it back in a few hours. No more bubbly tint! I told my brother it was his birthday present from me so he's happy and I'm happy that he can now see out the back windshield at night. Thanks to Milton and Blue's Glass Tinting for doing a great job on the windshield.

Milton took the time to educate me on something I had no idea about -- the "tint" on the back windows of my brand new GMC Yukon from the dealership isn't actually tint at all... it's just colored glass. That's why we couldn't simply match the driver's window -- we had to redo all of the windows properly to get a consistent, high-quality finish. I genuinely appreciated him explaining that instead of just doing a quick match and sending me on my way. I dropped my car off at 3 PM and it was completely finished by 6 PM. The turnaround time was amazing. And the quality? Top tier. Milton's work is so high-level that I was even able to roll down my windows on day one -- which says everything about the precision and materials he uses. My setup: * XPEL XR Plus with lifetime warranty * 55% windshield * 20% front windows * 70% rear windows/drop glass to match the factory privacy glass * Customer-supplied custom honeycomb headlight and taillight tint, hand-cut and installed on-site (no pre-cut templates available for the R2) One thing that really impressed me was that they actually measured the factory panoramic roof glass and showed me that it already had excellent UV and heat rejection. Instead of trying to sell me something I didn't need, they recommended leaving the roof alone, which saved me money. That honesty earned my trust. They also took the time to meter the factory rear privacy glass so the final appearance would be uniform. The front and rear windows match extremely well, which was one of my biggest concerns before choosing a shop. I also brought my own headlight and taillight film. Although they don't normally install customer-supplied material, they were willing to work with me, and because there weren't pre-cut templates available for the new R2, they hand-cut everything on the vehicle. The finished product looks fantastic and really complements the vehicle. Another huge plus was that they completed everything the same day, even with the additional custom work on the lighting. Overall, the workmanship, attention to detail, honesty, and customer service exceeded my expectations. My Type R has IRX 35% all around including windshield and looks super dark since the interior absorbs a lot of light. However, I included an interior shot to show how QUALITY tint is supposed to look regardless of the darkness (I can see easily at night). Time and time again I hear people try to penny pinch and get better deals elsewhere for worse product but Sage and their line of tints speak for themselves. You get what you pay for. Is it worth the money? Most definitely. Is the heat rejection that much better? Yes I'll be back again for my next car!

I was basically a walk-in after 1pm. Needed to have old, faded & sun damaged tint removed from the head & tail lights, of my 2006 Nissan Xterra. Was met by Jessica in reception who is an absolute dream ...I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her about "Male Feline"...hahaha just ask her...lol...We're kindred spirits. Given a very reasonable quote by Robert, & was able to get started on my car right away. Left to run some errands, & came back for my car b4 closing. Was very pleased with end result... Roberts' work was impeccable, & aside from slight damage caused by old tint (HAVING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH ROBERTS WORK), he made all my lights look almost as good as new...which after 10 years of damage, is quite a feat. Robert's tint shop is top notch! I just had the windows on my Suburban LTZ tinted. I had the front windows tinted to match the factory tint that was in the back, and had them install light tint on the windshield. Robert was welcoming, knowledgable, and helpful. Such a cool guy! I am extremely pleased with the tint work, and my car looks awesome! I love how the tint looks from inside the car as well! It creates a dimmer atmosphere and I can already feel the difference of heat in my car! No problems, no issues. Perfect tint! I have recommended this tint shop to my neighbors. Just want say Thank You Very Much to the people at Roberts tint shop. I called like 2 hours before and asked if they could tint 2 windows on my Lexus today and they said Yes. We live about an hour and a half away in Cathedral city and everyone here wanted an appointment. So I saw all the good reviews here and deciced to take the drive and it was worth it. No doubt what excellent service! Jessica was more than helpful. Robert came out and explained all that was to be done. Very friendly people!!! they said 3 hours but in an hour all was done!!! any problems come on back! Glad to have met Jessica and Robert and they helped out my 82 year old mother as well! Finally decided to get my 1985 Toyota MR2 with 20 year old bubbling tint removed & replaced. Called up Roberts Tint Shop & brought it in for estimate & tint options & the whole process from beginning to end was painless. I loved this place! Robert is seriously the best at what he does. I got my first car (2014 Corolla) tinted and it changed the car completely. I got DARK on the back three windows and MEDIUM on the front two. Robert has great prices and customer service. He dropped off my sister and I at Victoria Gardens while he tinted my car, which only took a little over 2 hours. i am very happy with the work that he has done and I WILL be coming back. read more

I got my car tinted here a couple weeks ago and it's already bubbling. I took it somewhere else to get fixed because while I was there I felt very uncomfortable with the owner he asked me very inappropriate things and made a rude comment. If I had to do it over I would go somewhere else and only pay once. read more

I did hesitate a bit because I was used to getting 5% but nonetheless it looked great. The facility is really clean, has a nice waiting area with a tv and complimentary drinks. Everyone was professional and friendly and overall it took about 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Price is reasonable too compared to all the other tint shops in the IE area. Overall I would recommend.

I came across this…read moreplace on a whim, I was originally looking for a brewery in the area and the tint shop came up on maps and being that I had just purchased a car I was wanting to get tint at some point. When I called in they were on top of it with answering my questions and being straightforward with information so I felt at ease knowing they weren't trying to pull a fast one on me. I came in the next day and they were done within 2 hours. I loved the tint so much I ended up recommending it to my mom who wanted her front windows done as well and they took great care of her car. Will definitely be coming back to them when I get my next car.

We went with ceramic tint on the front windshield and had them match the tint on the front two windows with the rest of the car, and they nailed it. The quality of work is top notch. The tint looks clean, even, and professionally installed with great attention to detail. You can tell they take pride in their work and want everything looking just right before handing the keys back. Customer service was excellent from start to finish. Travis made the whole process easy, answered all of our questions, and made sure we felt comfortable with our options. Bonus points because he is genuinely funny and made the whole experience enjoyable instead of feeling like just another appointment. I walked in after calling multiple times over the week and no one answered. I came here because…read moreTesla promotes them and I wanted tint that won't void my car's warranty. I inquired about tinting and mentioned casually that I came in because their online price is better than Tesla's price. The guy was shocked and said no that their price is the same as Tesla's. I showed him the online price (on my phone) and he also proceeded to show me the price on his monitor. He said both are outdated and "the guys" haven't updated it yet and that the price online should be $200 more. I mentioned they would have to honor the advertised price online and he said they don't. I told him I would file a complaint with BBB because that's not good business practices. This business doesn't care about losing customers with false advertising. Edit: By the time I got home, they already updated the online pricing, and the front windshield tint cost for Model Y now is $299 instead of the $199 shown in my screenshots. Edit #2: The owner responded today and said their pricing policy was explained to me in detail, which it was not, and also said that service was offered at the current price, which it was not either. When I walked in yesterday, I asked specifically if their pricing online was accurate and the person at the desk told me "yes". Then I pointed out that it was great because I had noticed their pricing online was lower than Tesla's price. The person at the counter then argued with me (in a not-friendly manner), that pricing was the same as Tesla's and that I was wrong. He kept repeating that I was wrong and to show him the pricing and screenshots. I proceeded to show him the price online on my phone and told them the price Tesla offered for tinting when I purchased my car. It was then that the person at the counter said their advertised price was outdated. Nothing about the interaction yesterday was professional. And per California law (SB 478) business are required to honor the lowest advertised price, especially if it was a previous price that was not updated. A simple Google search before responding to my review would have informed the owner that. And the owner's response today doesn't portray the interaction as it happened, offers no resolution and lacks knowledge of his legal requirement to honor the lowest advertised price.
