He was more than willing to share his extensive knowledge if tires and how they are made, and the tricks to mounting and balancing them correctly. Hes my new tire guy! I recently moved to the area, and hes made a customer for life.

I saved hundreds by not going to the dealership and who knows what mechanic I would have had there. I found this place because I have an aftermarket warranty and I took the time to read the fine print stating that I needed to get services done from an ASE certified mechanic. I am sure if I didn't read that and I needed to fix a problem, it would have been the excuse of the warranty company to deny any claims. I thought most repair places were ASE certified. After talking to several on the phone, I found out that was not the case. I did a quick google search and Lakeview automotive came up as one of the only service/repair places around with that designated certification and a blue label certification at that. I am not exactly sure what that means but I know for me, it was peace of mind. Knowing that the shop and mechanics have gone thru extensive training, have all the tools/devices they need, and continue to get training in all aspects of their business. This professionalism was demonstrated early on when I first called and spoke to Karen, asking all my questions. I also spoke to the shop manager Phill who took the time to put me at ease about bringing my car in vs going to the dealership. When I arrived for my appt, Karen greeted me with a warm hello and Phill came out to introduce himself. I was taken back to the service bay to look underneath my vehicle and met mechanic James who was also very nice and accommodating. I knew my car was in good hands with someone who actually cared about the work they performed, even if it was just an oil change. I would have said a "simple" oil change, but that's not the case w a Jaguar, it's a lot more involved. When the service was done, I received an email with a thorough inspection report with pictures and items that were completed and items that would need future attention. Not once did I feel any type of upsell. It is comforting to know that I am not going to be told something isn't true or need a service that I don't. Bravo, you guys are A++++ in my book and will get all my future car needs. Thank you Lakeview Automotive and all the staff working there. Keep up the good work. Vic Baily Honda asked $265+tax with OEM Honda pad and rotors. Case by case. Sometimes they billed good price and are honest (especially old lady, not young guy), but not always. Before start always ask total price to avoid over priced bill.
