They could've put the car anywhere! It also looks like they have other bad reviews on google. A trucking company was shipping our customer's car and got into an accident. The car on the trailer was damaged. Isaak Body Shop was called by the carrier to tow the truck and the trailer to their lot. They should have charged the trucking company who did this, instead they tried to get money out of the customer who had their car on the trailer. I spoke to Chad at Isaak Body Shop over the phone and he was extremely unprofessional and rude. They sent a bill for over 6 thousand dollars for storage fees and some made up towing charges that should have gone to the trucking company. I find it very hard to believe they did not charge the driver any towing fees. I am also uploading the bill and screenshots of the conversation by email. He didn't like that I had questions about the bill so he started yelling and said "Give me $2000 by Friday if you want the car!" and hung up on me. Great customer service. If that's how you want to be treated then bring your car in and ask for Chad! They did end up getting the money from the customer who was the sweetest old lady. I feel terrible for the way they took advantage of her. Just when we thought it was over, we went to get the car and they wouldn't take it off a forklift unless we paid yet ANOTHER $200. These guys have taken the word scam, defined it, and brought it to the next level. I really hope that no one finds themselves in Carlysle, IL in need of a tow or any body work.
