Where do I begin? I met Robin through a mutual friend at a barbershop and immediately the way he carried himself spoke to me. After a quick convo he told me that he was a photographer and the rest was history. (White Tops, Girls Jean Dresses) We booked him for holiday photos on short notice a few years ago and he was able to accommodate us with no problem. Our first session started at his studio and at first we were like oh great just another backdrop Walmart/Target/PicturePeople photo session. Man was I wrong. That was just the appetizer on what soon became a full course photo shoot. The studio session was quick and painless and then it was off to our cars for a short drive to a local park. To the untrained eye the park was far from spectacular but not to Robin, let's just say that Robin has an eye like no other. My wife and our three daughters had a blast!!! That was it, he was going to be our photographer for life. (White tops, Girls Teal Dresses) Then life happened years passed... 3 to be exact and it was time for us to shoot again. There was not a doubt in our minds who would be taking the pics, ROBIN. With the pandemic going on and all the issues associated again we found ourselves looking for him on a short notice. Again, Robin accommodated. He's going to kill me for letting you all know that because I'm sure he likes to keep his schedule tight but oh well... lol. Only this time our family had grown, we now had two fur babies and they were ready for their first shoot. I text Robin, he said bring the furballs!! He also sent me three locations that we could choose from and said choose a place, we decide on a time together and again his work speaks for itself. The prices were fair, but it don't matter what he charged we were willing to pay. The turn around was quick we had our photos in like 3 days. We were more than pleased, my wife stared at the pics dissecting every little portion, you know the type "my hair, the girls faces, your smile, our shoes" nope not one complaint and that's saying a lot!!! She's a tough one to impress, still don't know how I got lucky I mean look at me, and look at her. Anyways, I know this is about his work and the product he delivers, But what really sets Robin apart is who he is as a person. Every time it feels like we are just hanging out with family. There was a point our dogs got loose and Robin was right there chasing them down with us. We joked, we laughed, we talked about all types of stuff, it was like we were hanging out with a lifelong friend. I guess it's only right since he is giving us lifelong memories that we will cherish forever. Before the end of the day the kids were calling him Uncle Robin and the dogs were listening to every command. He might have a future in dog training too, I know I'm definitely taking my daughters up on the "Uncle Robin" title might ask him to babysit.. all jokes aside that is Robin. I've seen his work before when he was taking pictures for my friend daughters birthday and for many other occasions she hired him for. I am new to taking these type of pictures. If you are searching for photographer who will make you feel comfortable, has a good vibe and takes beautiful pictures I suggest you stop looking because Robin is the one! My experience with Robin is he is so professional and he is not afraid to get his shoes full of mud/water just to get the perfect picture. When he was taking our engagement pictures there was a small waterfall down a bridge and let me tell you I felt so bad when his shoes were getting muddy and I tried to tell him we did not have to take the picture there BUT he did NOT mind at all, right there I knew what kind of person and photographer he was! He really cares about satisfying his customers. What else can you ask for in a photographer?
