It is scary when you decide to write or read a review for a business and all you see are 5-Stars... it must mean something... hmm... Let me give it a shot: We got married last holiday season and felt bad this is coming in late, but wanted to share our experience with everyone regarding QPhotography. This review is broken down into the stages where you'll be working with Quyen and his Team: [Initial Communication] The response time via Facebook was quick and precise. There was little fluff, and it answered all our concerns. Quyen provided his rates, no hidden fees, and will let you compare against competitors. He acknowledges his calendar within the Month of your event. [In Person Communication] Quyen invites you to his office, where you get to meet him in person, see what he has worked on, and discuss face to face, what "YOU" want. He is honest that he doesn't replicate his old work just because it looks good. He says his design is based on You and Your event, on the day, weather condition, environment and so you will get a unique, custom styled photo session for your special day. We saw a previous one we liked and it gave him ideas of what our interest were, but the FINAL delivery was completely different and EVEN Better then what we thought someone prior had. He customs each event for that specific couple. [Pre-Event] About a week before the event, there is a sync up to reconfirm venue, time, what is needed, etc. Quyen was even easy going as we needed another in person meeting and he assured us of the plan on the day of the event. Again, great communication, ease of comfort and organized prep work. [EVENT Day] Make sure you have Quyen setup at the Bride section. His partner will be with the Groom. Quyen was ready to go early on, around 5-6am (thank goodness Groom side doesn't have to be up that early). My wife only had amazing things to note on Quyen and his ability to blend into the background as she got ready, yet we were extremely impressed with the amount of of pictures he took. My only frustration here is that Quyen is unable to replicate/duplicate himself to be at two places at once. As good as his partner is for the Groom, Quyen is TOP Notch!!! Once the Tea Ceremony begin, he had prepped us and him and his team were all over to take pictures of every nuances and areas from both sides. I was more then impressed. After the Ceremony and before the reception, we even spent time getting group and family pictures without pressure of delay. We then had our noon reception (not evening because we didn't want a drunken late night event). Quyen had pictures of each section, tables, groups, and everyone and area of the event covered. Trust me, you don't want to work with a group of people where you have to point out, come here, go there. Quyen and his team had the space covered! They never even ate the meal we got them, completely professional throughout the entire event. [Post Reception Pictures] Since our event was noon time, we never got some nice couple shots. Quyen offered to take us to a side garden/park, and even though the event was over, instead of going home and eat with his family, Quyen went ABOVE and BEYOND, and helped us capture our special day. He spent a few more uncharged hours and we had more amazing memories thanks to him. [Afterwards] We got the package with the Album (a bit more but WORTH it) because once you're married, you really won't be investing time rummaging through and editing your own pictures, building your own book, let Quyen do it for you! Plus the extra size upload into the cloud. Pull down the full res image onto a hard drive. Get the Album when it is ready. Quyen sends you what he has done, and edit it with him a few time until you're happy. He is never pushy nor does he ever get frustrated. He has always been easy to deal with. Once everything is done, he'll invite you over to pickup and final handshake. [Conclusion] I am glad we only get married once a lifetime, because having QPhotography handle and capture that moment was magical for us. Feel free to do your due diligence, but in the end you'll be just like us and go with QPhotography, because you can't cheapen out on quality, organization, prep, communication, ease, comfort, trustworthy and professionalism like you have with Quyen & QPhotography. Among the photographers that we inquired for our events, Quyen was the most responsive and accomodating to our needs, plus his photographing style and skill did fit our taste, we decided to go with him for both our engagement ceremony and engage session. For our ceremony, even though I'm sure he will do well in any setting, if you are looking for a photographer with a good understanding of traditional Vietnamese wedding/engagement, he is the one! After getting engaged last year, one of my top priority was getting a good photographer. After lots of research, I came upon Qphotography by accident. A friend's wedding photo captured my attention on FB and I knew I had to reach out to Quynh and his team. We were planning a traditional Vietnamese wedding, so I wanted someone familiar with all the traditions. After looking through their work online, I emailed Quynh, detailing the wedding itinerary and locations. He emailed me back with the quotes for different packages. We met up with him soon after to go over the pricing and signed the contract. They have multiple packages that would suit any couple. We went with the 12 hour coverage, which comes with a digital album for easy sharing, a photo album and 2 framed pictures. Quynh was easy to reach every time I had a question and he was very prompt with responding to emails and text messages. A few weeks before the wedding, we met with him again to go over the details and schedule. On the day of the wedding, he arrived on time for our tea ceremony. He and his team were very courteous to our friends and family and made us feel less self conscious when taking pictures. Our wedding was in November 2017 and the contract states that we would get our pictures within 6 weeks. I didn't want to be those annoying brides who call every week to ask if the pictures were ready, but I was dying to see the pictures! As promised, Quynh contacted me after a few weeks to let me know the pictures are ready to pick up. We got over 1000+ pictures on digital form and I was so happy with every photo.
