Absolutely counter productive. Antiquated regulations that make it difficult for married couples to share accounts. Transfer limits are 7500 a month to external accounts, which means if you are taking care of an aging parent out of state, or are transferring funds after a move, yiu will have to wire transfer, which has a fee. Not to mention their app doesn't link to the individual by a number, as other banks do for married couples who share an account, so forget both of you being able to add an account without multiple steps that take days to complete just to make sure you are both on the account. ​ read more

I've been a customer with Robins for approximately 20 years. I never thought that I would have to give a bad review. But I have been given the run around in reference to a deceased relatives account. Nobody in that department has given me the correct directives as to what steps I need to take. Each day someone gives me incorrect information as to what needs to be done. It seems as if nobody is properly trained in that department. I'm a disabled customer, and can't keep running back and forth to bank due to their negligence. There's no remorse from them for their actions. I am very disappointed and surprised with this service.​ read more

Recently, on 12/30/24, I entered Robins Federal Credit Union located on Houston Rd, Warner Robins, GA, only to be stereotyped and called a scammer by their employee Jessie Perez. Miss Perez insulted me after I requested verification for a wire transfer to another institution. Perhaps it was the color of my skin or the way I was dressed that led Miss Perez to judge me in this manner. I was forced to ask for management in order to solve my issues with the other institution. Jessie Perez needs to be placed under review or replaced with someone who provides better customer service. They charge you $25 per overdraft charge even if you don't have overdraft protection. The whole point of not being enrolled in overdraft protection is for the card to decline if funds are not availabe. When I go to my account and see that I have the funds available, I'm going to use my card. Robin's is the worst bank you could bank at and their employees are extremely rude. They also remove reviews from their Facebook pages. read more

My experience with this bank has been down than up. I even remember closing my account once before due to poor customer service but opted to give them another chance with this time around being 12 years. Mobile deposit is a joke. Cashing payroll checks is a joke whether via mobile deposit or in person "if" it is a certain amount. I've heard this a little more than I can tolerate. "We need to see the stub that comes along with this check." And this is even for cash advance checks that I receive from my personal credit card company. My stubs are non of your business. If you can't tell a legit check then maybe you don't need to run a business. Many of their employees have the worst attitudes....not all but many. But my point is I have gotten another bank. I am currently switching my automatic drafts and even told my employer to cancel my direct deposit to this bank and provided them with my information. This bank will help customers that are non members quicker than a member and if they offer to help you, trust me an interest rate comes along with it. Don't call me after you see my auto payments come through my account and offer me 2 percent lower than I am paying because at zero percent ELSEWHERE.....you can't get no lower. I have great credit and never experienced insufficient activity. I am worthy of good customer service which should be at all times All customers are worthy of that...not only me. The worst banking experience I have had in 54 years of banking with an banking institution. I have had the wrong information provided constantly. I currently have two active accounts which I keep getting nickeled and dime with charges and fees. The overdraft coverage program is a joke and the program was not explained correctly with the representative that I sign up with. A car loan which I am helping a member with after they where hospitalized and out of work with no income for 6 months,, has been a nightmare to work with Robins to get the loan current . My daughter has tried 3 times to have an IRA transferred to Robins but has know given up and wants to close her checking also with Robins. When I call to explain my frustration with Robins I get lip service and no feeling that they care. Yet I keep getting emails about how they are working with members due to Covid-19, which has impacted me and every dollars counts, but I have yet to have any consideration shown to my concern when I reach out to them. I always believed in Credit Unions before Robins, because of Credit Unions willingness to work with people and their needs, but, Robins is a major exception and disappointment. Stay away and find a better banking institution UPDATE: I received a call this morning and after a in depth review all of my issues where addressed and my faith in Robbins Federal was been restored. Very unhelpful staff and lack of compassion or concern for their customers. I would highly recommend using a bank with more concern for customer service and who will not drown you in fees. I have paid almost $600 in fees between my checking and line of credit this year alone, and they have not offered to reverse any, even during economic crisis. STEER CLEAR! They also go against FINRA and SIPC, they show prejudice in who they pick and choose to help. My tip? Use a bank with better customer service and less fees. So Robins FCU doesn't care about the customer! I bought a vehicle at a dealership. Dealership quoted me a higher than deserved rate. I ended up buying the car at the higher rate thinking if I went and talked to the bank they would be helpful. I went to the bank to ask about it and they told me I do qualify for a much better rate, but since I went through the dealer they wouldn't change it. Okay I get it, but they wouldn't let me refinance the loan to get the better rate either. Not good business! The customer is what keeps the lights on not dealerships. So I asked for the 10 day and will be shopping else where. Be careful if you do business with Robins FCU!! read more

When both my wife and I had employment setbacks, I attempted to be proactive and short sell my home to avoid foreclosure; I was even willing to take on a personal note to cover the difference. My house appraised at 30k less than what I owed, but I found a buyer who would purchase at 15k under appraised value. Robins would not work with us at all; they would not approve a short sale in any form, would not give us a personal note to help make up the difference, and threatened that if we were a day late they would begin forclosure proceedings, and that they would definitely seek a deficiency judgement after the forclosure. Realize that most banks as a common sense business practice are much more accomodating these days; It seems to be bone-headed to push someone into a forclosure, where everyone loses; beware if you are looking for a home loan, they are heartless! read more

If your interested in an antiquated slow moving bank that has poor customer service RFCU is the place for you. Want to pay online? After a cumbersome, non-intuitive setup on their website, you get the opportunity to wait days or weeks for their test deposits to show up before you can use the on-line bill pay. Miss a payment while waiting on their bill pay setup? Don't worry, a rude disinterested employee will talk to you like you've never setup an on-line account in your life. This is the organization that time has left behind. You would be better off paying a little more somewhere else to get a modern bank with good customer service. read more
