    Completely restored to original elegance

The Robins theater has been completely restored to its original glory. The current management offers a mix of popular music, movies, concerts and stage acts. They have really done an outstanding job of booking an eclectic mix of entertainment, so that there is something appealing to everyone during each season. There is great seating, too. My wife and I have had seats on the first floor and also in the balcony, and we could see and hear everything no matter where we sat. No such thing as a bad seat!

This is our second time to this theater. I am told it was the place to hang out back in the day. It has been well maintained. Great decor. Check-out their schedule. Celebrating 100 years next year! https://robinstheatre.com/ Saw First Snow - a tribute to the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Great group - a mix of bands. Watch for them next year!

We saw Denny Z there. Blew my mind! He was Elvis on stage. Through his whole life! Can't wait for him to return.

1 Star - Worst Theater Experience I've Ever Had…read more I have been a loyal Cinemark customer for over six years and regularly drive from the Niles area to Boardman because the experience is consistently excellent. The service is top-notch, the concession portions are generous, the recliner seats are comfortable, and their Movie Club membership is a great value at $14.50 per month. Since Regal recently upgraded its theater in my town, I decided to give it a chance before considering switching memberships. Regal Unlimited costs $26 per month, but I thought the convenience of avoiding a 30-minute drive each way might make up for the difference. Unfortunately, my experience on June 18, 2026, at the 7:40 PM showing of Scary Movie convinced me to stay with Cinemark. Two tickets cost $32. Then I paid over $12 for what Regal calls a "large" popcorn, which would be considered a medium almost anywhere else. To make matters worse, I was charged nearly $9 each for two small Pepsis that were poured from a two-liter bottle. My concession total was over $32, and the value simply wasn't there. The theater operations were equally disappointing. The staff appeared disorganized, there was nobody checking tickets, and nobody directing guests to the correct auditorium. Honestly, it felt like someone could have walked in, bought a soda, and watched a movie for free. When we entered the auditorium, the floor was covered in popcorn. My row was completely empty except for us, which suggests the theater had not been cleaned between showings. The newly installed recliner seats were another disappointment. My seat was broken and would not recline at all. After the movie, I informed the manager. Rather than asking where I was seated or showing any concern about fixing the issue, I received a quick "thanks" and was essentially brushed off. Between the overpriced concessions, dirty theater, broken seat, lack of organization, and indifferent response from management, this was easily the worst theater experience I've ever had. If I could give less than one star, I would. Thank you, Regal, for reminding me why I will continue making the drive to Cinemark in Boardman.

I missed out on The Martian a few months back and it ended up here which is what prompted me to check it out. There are 5 or 6 individual theaters in the building. Each movie has a maximum of 3 showings a day starting at 1:30pm with the latest showings around 10pm. It looks like they have about 8 movies at any given time. Prices are $4 before 6pm and $5 after however, Tuesday is $3 movie day which is what I took advantage of. I didn't purchase any concessions but glanced at prices and they appear generally lower than most theaters. I recall a large tub of popcorn being $7 and a small drink being $2.50. I believe bottled water was $2. The theaters themselves are very large and there weren't many people there so you could spread out. Less than 10 people at my showing. It was clean but is an older building. The screen is maybe slightly smaller than a normal theater but it wasn't that noticeable. The sound was also good. If I had one complaint it was the seats weren't the best. I was fine in them for a 2 hour movie but they are older and don't recline much or have much padding. All in all for $3 this is a winner for me. If I miss a movie or I'm curious about a movie but don't want to pay full price, I'll just wait for it to show up here. Of course, if It is a movie I really want to see and am looking for a full theater experience, I'll pony up the extra cash and see it in IMAX or XD.

Prices for admission vary based on the time of day and the age of the customer. My husband and I bought tickets in person for a movie on a Monday afternoon. When we were at the entrance, a courteous employee in the back noticed us and asked us to walk toward the concession stand to buy tickets. On a computer screen, we selected our seats. The total price for two adults was $23. The concession stand offered typical snacks and drinks. Another courteous employee sold us candies and drinks. Another employee took our tickets. He kindly told us that the theater was being cleaned and that we could wait for a few minutes until it was ready. He told us where the bathrooms were located if we needed them. (Since the previous reviews were written, I am sure that this movie theater has hired some new employees.) In the theater, the leather reclining seats were spacious and comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed watching the movie. Please note that this movie theater follows the township code and has a curfew policy: People who are under the age of 18 are not admitted after 4 PM on Fridays and Saturdays or if a movie will end after 11:30 PM--unless they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
