It is going on 4 weeks now. I was told I would have dentures the same day. They put them in and the…read moretop stayed put but the bottom was so painful (which I told them before I left) I had to take them out as soon as I left the office. I was in so much pain. Come to find out, my top denture was not centered, even though I mentioned it before I left. Three weeks later, not being able to wear them, they put in the soft liner. My bite was so off that the liner was way to think because my bite was so far off and I couldn't talk, never mind eat. They never put my bottoms in with polydent. I had to do that in my car. They said I would be able to eat. Even though they said I would be able to with the "healing dentures" that never fit and I couldn't wear. I put my bottoms in and I went to McD's and tried to bite a french fries and the bottom fell out. I haven't had teeth for 3.5 weeks now. I lost 8 lbs in 3 weeks because I can't eat. And still no dentures. My bite was so bad that they reschedule the appointment to replace them in another week. Week four is coming up and they are supposed to redo them. I feel like come noon time, if they couldn't correct the problem, they rushed me out because it was lunch time. The dentist has to go feed his dog and a tech that doesn't normally do what I needed worked on them for 2 hours until lunch time. She kept putting them in over 20 times. I walked out with the top dentures not centered and the bottom dentures wouldn't stay in. She didn't even put them in. Just handed me the polydent and sent me on my way! The appointment was supposed to be with a tech that was actually out for the week. I woke up the next morning and my gums are so sore! They are bruised and painful because of the 20 + times she tried to put them in and tweak them. This next appointment will be the last one!!!! If I don't walk out with dentures that fit and are centered correctly, I don't care what they had me sign, I will be suing for all money related to the dentures. I will let them keep the money for the extractions, but I will sue to get every dime for the dentures that I should have walked out with on day 1 - not week 4!!! I won't even mention how unprofessional the insurance clerk is!!! That is another review entirely.
