The woman who pinned it informed me only after writing my receipt that she was not the actual seamstress, and that the seamstress would be taking a vacation between the time I dropped it off and wanted to pick it up. I would not have the dress in time for thanksgiving (when I needed it for,) so surely the day or two after, I thought. Wrong. She quoted me the 29th, TWELVE days after the drop-off date. That is obscene for such a simple job. If the shop was really that swamped with work, she should have informed me before taking my garment. Furthermore, the shop is only open for a very short window on Saturdays, and not at all on Sundays, so I went to pick up my dress the following Monday (today.) The posted hours day the shop opens at 09:00, and I waited in the parking lot until 09:38 until someone came to open it. Absolutely the worst service ever, would not recommend to anyone. **UPDATE** after getting my dress back (unhemmed) I sat in my car in the parking lot writing this review and calling around to every alteration/tailoring shop in Enterprise, Dothan and Ozark to see if anyone could hem it as a rush order. It took me nearly 30 minutes, and the ENTIRE time I could see the woman through the window (presumably Kim, although I never got her name. Middle aged Asian woman) sitting with her legs crossed sipping tea/coffee doing no work at all. Now however she wants to run her business is up to her, but no wonder things take so long to get done! I left the parking lot at 10:11, and she was still sitting there with her legs crossed with her cup doing absolutely nothing. What a lazy, awful work ethic. She may literally be the crabbiest person I have ever encountered in a customer service position. The first time I came to pick up my clothes, she did not even bother to look at my receipt, she just went over to the rack, grabbed some clothes, and handed them to me, immediately walking away without verifying that all was as it should be. I gave her a few moments to acknowledge that there was an issue as I was not yet leaving, and she ignored me as I continued to stand there. I had to say "Excuse me" twice before she even looked back at me, and when I advised her that she had given me someone else's belongings, she was visibly annoyed as though it was somehow my fault. The second time I dropped my clothes off, the negativity emanating from her made me so uncomfortable that I didn't want to point out that she put my credit card in the machine incorrectly (chip out, rather than in) because I remembered my experience with correcting her the last time. When my husband went in to pick those clothes up for me, she felt justified in being rude to him because neither him nor I noticed that the receipt said pick up after 4 pm (it was about 1 pm). It was an honest mistake. How hard is it to point that out and just say "Sorry, see you after 4!" with a smile on your face? If you hate your job, then perhaps you should find something that you enjoy doing instead of taking it out on the people you are being paid to assist. AAFES employees must have a high level of job security because I have encountered so many of them who treat customers like crap. AAFES obviously does not care because they continue to employ people like this, and, really, they don't have to care about customer service because they sort of have a monopoly on most services when it comes to military installations. I'm done with the dry cleaners on Fort Rucker. I'll deal with the inconvenience and higher expense of taking my clothes somewhere off post for a more pleasant experience. [Edit: There is actually one lady who is very sweet here, and she helped me when I came in to pick my clothes up the second time. I have only seen her this one time, and I wish I knew her name!]

When my parents have been sick or in hospital, this had been my go to place to get full service…read more(clothes washed and folded) laundry. That has changed. On visit one, there was no attendant. So a whole day went by. On visit two, I asked when it could be done, (keep in mind historically it has been same day service, maybe two to three hours) the attendant told me tomorrow after noon. I went to leave. Then he said 9pm. Again not the service I need. I went to leave again. He didn't realize that I was not able to wait that long. Alleged, it will be done around 3p. Six hours after drop off, but still same day... so we will see. Also, since it's next to the cape shop, the whole laundry smells like weed. Maybe that's your thing, but it's not mine. The parking lot is also a hot mess most days. Again. Vape shop issue. Pack your patience for the parking lot, and a mask if you're gonna go here, unless you like to get a wee high while doing your laundry, in which case this could be a perfect fit!
