The gentleman (Mr. Creamer?) assured me he would do his very best on his free time, pay it extra special attention and did let me know it would not be returned to me perfect, however... but he'd do his very best. After receiving the message 3 weeks later to pick it up, I was a little disappointed that he said he could not repair it, but I was grateful all the same, and as I didn't make a purchase as there was no repair, I bought cologne just as a gesture. Little did I know that there was a reason I wasn't shown my purse and that it was tucked away in a plastic bag for me to take home. I realized my shoulder strap was missing. I called into him and he said he had it. I said I would come and get it. It was about a couple days later that I realized that he actually did try to repair the purse... and absolutely destroyed it beyond repair. It took me a couple days to finally muster up putting my purse away in the closet because I really did want it repaired. I could not wait to FINALLY carry it!! I went to pick it up a couple weeks later when it was done and the corner was cracked. Obviously, weight was put on that area to adjust so they could stitch it. I pointed it out to them, and they said it must have been that way when I dropped it off. Why would I have bothered to drive an hour to get to Panama City Beach, (a 2 hour round trip) and pay money to get it fixed, if it was cracked before I dropped it off? They refused to take responsibility. No wonder they demand payment ahead of time. Great customer service from the guy I dropped it off too, but terrible customer service from the guy I picked it up from.
