A quiet place to get away from it all. We stayed for a long weekend in Cabin 3. So cozy, comfortable, clean and affordable. And they have everything you need! Full kitchen with all the pots, pans and utensils you need. (Just bring your ingredients) The beds are made and cozy. There's even fire wood ready for your use! Cabin 3 sits right on the lake. The screened in porch looks over it..offering the most relaxing place to start and end your day. We can't wait to visit again! read more

This was one of the best places we've ever stayed! The cottage layout was a perfect blend of spacious and cozy and the furnishings and setting also formed a perfect blend of rustic and convenient. I found the cottage to be even better than the pictures. From the pictures, it looks like the cottage might be right next to another cottage, but it is actually all one building (the two bedrooms are in the adjoining, raised up section of the cottage). The cottage felt secluded and private, even though there are other cottages nearby. Another nice surprise is that the cottage was rather toddler-friendly. We had a 14-month old who loved to toddle around the entire cottage and there was very little that she could get into that would cause trouble. Check-in and check-out was really easy. The hosts were accessible and helpful. One thing to note about the location: it is outside of any of the main towns of Washington County, which you think would make it feel like a less convenient location, but it is actually conveniently centrally located for an extended Washington County vacation. For example, Lubec is about 40 minutes away and Eastport about 30 minutes away. I would whole-heartedly recommend Robinson's Cottages and would love to come back again. (In fact, I had such a positive experience that I'm making sure to give good reviews here on Yelp as well as TripAdvisor and Airbnb.) read more

My family and I have been staying at this location for almost 10 years now. We have stayed in each cabin at least once, and brought many friends for wonderful weekends and holidays away. My favorite time of year to visit is the fall, when it is just cool enough to put on a fire at night and when the leaves are turning all different colors. Clean cabins with lots of character, friendly people, great rates. Without a doubt my favorite place to stay for a romantic weekend, for Canadian Thanksgiving, or for a group of 8 friends to get away. read more

We have stayed at Robinson's Cottages a couple of times while riding the Sunrise ATV trail. They are located just off the trail and have been very accommodating even though we usually only have a one night stay and can be a bit muddy after riding ATVs (we do try to sweep before leaving). I would highly recommend these cottages for a longer stay, perfect for a family reunion. The kitchens are well equipped with everything you will need, beds are comfortable and towels plentiful and fluffy. They offer grills and picnic tables and wood for cozy fires in the fireplaces. The setting is beautiful and you certainly will want to try your fishing skills. Just a great spot to relax and enjoy. read more

Terrific place! We had a wonderful time - the cottage was huge, the kitchen well-equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was terrific. Lots of really dry fire-wood for the huge field-stone fireplace, but there was also a wood stove and a monitor heater that worked beautifully. Paddled around in one of the canoes, saw lots of birds, even the dog had a great time -- pet-friendly, wonderful place to stay - I would go back in a heart-beat! read more

History
Established in 1920.
Robinson's Log Cottages was started with one small cabin in 1920 by William Robinson and his wife, Shirley. The cottages are located on the bank of the Dennys River on land owned by generations of Robinsons since 1875. Although the original camp has been replaced, several more modern log cottages with stone fireplaces and other amenities have been added over the years. The cottages have passed through several generations. Now, the cottages are owned and operated by the fourth generation, Bill Robinson (namesake of the original owner) and his wife Teresa.
