This location is kept clean, most of the staff are nice, and I'm happy to report that I've been noticing a lot more Organic/Non-GMO stuff available to buy, ditto for Gluten free mixed in with the oldie-but-goodie items, which tend to cater to their majority Gen X and Baby Boomer aged customers. There's a bus stop for SCT routes 6, 51, and 53 at the Waverly Ave entrance, which is convenient. Plus it says open until 22:00 (10 pm). Only complaints are: Items/foodschtuffs are costly (aka typical King Kullen prices), Restrooms tend to be dirty (had to duck into the ladies room once, was a bit cleaner than the mens), The location is in an odd area. Waverly Ave south of Sunrise is a rough-ish part of town, but north of Sunrise tends to be nicer. Keep this in mind if you walk, bike, or take the bus. Often I go in there and the refrigerated and freezer sections have mops and towels along the sections. I've returned yogurt, chicken and beef to this location 3 times in the past 3 months. I knew i would like the brand new LIDL when i walked up to the front doors and they had an…read moreassociate sanitizing the returned carts. They also had santizer in the entry lobby and upon leaving. First thing that caught my attention was the bright lighting and vibrate colors of the fruits, vegetables and flowers. Everything was quality fresh and very reasonably priced. After returning home i had a salad and fruit. I was extremely pleased with everything i purchased. My husband was very happy to see the large variety of fresh specialty breads and help yourself slicer. Fast foward to the meat section. The bright lighting really showed off the fresh meat and fish selection and prices were amazing. They also have many frozen food options . In addition to food, milk, eggs, can and dry products there is a household section. I purchased a non-stick frying pan which i already used and was very pleased. LiDL had a nice selection of clothes, decorations, towels, hygiene, health care items and so on and so on. The personable staff was plentiful and very willing to help find items and answer questions. Check out was fast and smooth. Bottom line is I was very impressed with this bright clean quality store. I wish LiDL the best and continue to be sucessful in serving the community for many years to come!
