Truly nice guys (3 brothers) who work hard and deliver a nice product at a reasonable price. Had them reupholster a seating area in my boat's galley; the final product is beautiful. I bought the microsuede elsewhere along with fabric for piping; paid Robnett's only for labor. Genuinely like these guys; they are nice to deal with, creative and timely. As noted, their prices are competitive. Definitely consider them for your reupholstery or canvas or carpet binding needs; there is nothing they cannot do. Five stars! Updated 2-11-16 Robnett's cut and bound several stairwell carpets I bought elsewhere; they installed the finished product on my boat (snapped down carpets). These guys are unbelievable; the finished carpets look 100% custom. Quality of their work is first-rate. Terrible customer service. TERRIBLE!! I spent weeks trying to chase Guillermo down for estimates, updates on my ordered material and also dates on when my furniture would be ready for pick up. He kept giving me days he'd call or come by and he never would. I grew increasingly frustrated by all his excuses. I was on time with paying him and keeping my word but he had no regard for keeping his word. He would give a quote then forget. Say he'd stop by, then wouldn't. A few times he even forgot my name. Something is wrong with that man. I hate being rude to my elders because he's up there in age but he's super forgetful to the point of it being abnormal. He's going senile and its showing! His coworkers should look into this because it's hurting business. read more

WOW!!! amazing job done by these guys, less than 1/4 the price quoted by patsy on cañon st. in point loma ( even though patsy is really friendly! ) to re-upholster our ENTIRE sailboat with brand new sunbrella stain and weather resistant fabric complete with custom piping, new firm foam, and they even made pillows out of the scraps! oh, did I mention that they did the exterior cockpit cushions too? We are so thrilled with their work, they even made a brand new cushion that the quarter berth was lacking (disappeared with previous owners) based off a cardboard template i provided them - it fit perfectly! as did everything else, down to the location of the original snaps. Super impressed with the work of these guys, the owner was very friendly and professional as well, we were able to connect over a shared love soccer. The only problem was having to store the cushions in the back of our truck because they were finished making them before we were ready for them! Over the last 3 months, I've had Robnett's reupholster 2 couches, 1 love seat, 8 dining chairs, leather chair and matching ottoman. Guillermo is the person I dealt with. The workmanship is excellent and price is reasonable. They have a great selection of fabric samples, probably typical of any reupholstering place. For one of my couches I couldn't find the fabric I wanted, so ended up getting it from Calico Corners and material for piping from UFO. Guillermo is easy to work with and very accommodating. He and his team picks up and delivers. I would go back to have any of my future reupholstering needs done there. read more

BEAUTIFUL!!! Guillermo is the best. I had Robnett's make slipcovers for 2 antique Victorian chairs which have been in my family for over 100 years. I didn't want to tear off the original fabric, so I had them make slipcovers to preserve the chair but fit with my house. It only took 1 week, and they turned out beautiful. The best workmanship, attention to quality and detail - a covered zipper back, pleats to the floor, piping and perfect contour. This place came highly recommended by the boat shop my father uses. I needed some JetSki pads reupholstered and took my parts plus new pre made covers to them, and told them it was for a JetSki. All seemed well picked up the parts looked ok. Fast forward to a couple months later and I take the one of the pads off to do some work to the ski and the staples are rusted! Robnett's did a wonderful job on my RV sofa cushions. They were in very rough shape (i.e. broken springs, tears in the fabric, disintegrating foam) before I brought them in. Originally, I was going to take them to Upholstery Fabric Outlet a few blocks away, but their prices were through the roof and their waiting time would have been 5x as long. They recommended Robnett's to me, so I drove over and showed Guillermo my sofa cushions. He quoted me an affordable price and finished them within a week. I'm so happy!!!! They look great!
