The dental hygienist did an awesome job and cleaned thoroughly. She jokingly mentioned she's probably OCD, which helps with getting a thorough cleaning. Good conversation and great at making you feel at ease. No more discomfort than you would expect for any dental cleaning. Dr. Gonzalez was very professional, explained everything thoroughly, and didn't rush. He detailed my dental situation and told me about the "textbook" way to fix my problem along with higher cost (dental surgeon for implants) and lower cost options. I didn't feel pressured into making any particular choice--and he was very willing and understanding to go along with whatever plan made sense for me. The front office providing financing options as well as in-house payment plan possibilities. I appreciated the professionalism, the exceptional quality of work, the no-pressure atmosphere, and the willingness and desire to work with me. I've been saving money for years knowing that an investment in my mouth would be extensive. Now, I live along ways away. Dr. Allen is in Corpus and I live in Kansas City Missouri. I researched dozens and dozens of places in Kansas City, Oklahoma City and even Dallas. I expanded my search and looked into Corpus. After to many hours of research I made the choice to visit with Dr Allen and right off the bat I knew he was the right choice for me. His professionalism was above and beyond everyone else I had explored. Once we spoke he had a precise plan for me. Dr. Allen had extensive work to do. I required multiple bone graphs, over a dozen extractions and 7 posts to install. So on my 52 birthday I flew out to Corpus and Dr. Allen took such amazing care of me. I was terrified knowing all the work he was going to do. However the professionalism of his entire staff reassured me throughout the entire process. After an extremely long day I left his office with everything done for temporary teeth. Please keep in mind I had every tooth in my mouth including several broken ones removed. My entire mouth is all new!! I was amazed at the work the entire team did! I ended up making several other trips from Kansas City to Corpus for all the work that needed to be done. After all was said and done, I could not be happier with the experience I had at Allen Dental Group!! For the first time in over 30 years I'm not afraid to smile! I'm not afraid of what to eat! Everything I went through was worth the time and expense! I could not recommend anyone more than Allen Dental Group! The entire team was fantastic and even fun! Funny side note... Dr. Allen bought out…read morethe practice of my now-retired dentist and the jump from what I was used to to what is now part of the more modern dentist offices was quite amazing. First off, Dr. Allen and his staff are just super-supportive and friendly. I expected x-rays, impressions to be made and then to have to come back in a couple weeks. Well, no...he's got the latest in in-office crown fabrication. While you have to wait a while for the crown to be ground out of porcelain, it's far better than having to get shot up, drilled, measured and then come back in two weeks and do all that again. In about 2 hours time (I was there 2 1/2 hours, but some of that was going over medical history etc with Dr. Allen) you can be done with a brand new crown beautifully fitted by Dr. Allen. He's got a light touch with the drill and with the shots in the gums. Actually didn't really feel it at all. I have found the final dentist I'll have to find. He's a good bit younger than I am, so I think his practice will out-last me. My wife and I both can't say enough good about our experiences here.
