I visited Robusto Cigars today and was very happy with the service I received. Sam took the time to recommend certain cigars and explain why he was recommending them. After hearing that I was a tourist,he asked about my trip. I told him that we were following the old Route 66 and were leaving tomorrow for Las Vegas before returning to our home in Kentucky. He wished me luck and then he gave me a discount on my purchase. I would recommend this shop to everyone who enjoys a good cigar! There was no pressure to buy anything, just a lot of information on the cigars and I chose the ones I wanted. Very professional and courteous. I came to this place because I read the positive reviews given on Yelp. Upon my entrance I was greeted by the folks watching TV while smoking cigars (there were many people!). The owner stood up and he was really friendly. I have been to a few cigar lounges and this owner really struck me as the friendliest among them. He helped me with my need for used cigar boxes. He also introduced me to his house blend (I already tried the Salomon Maduro house blend and it was tasty). After I paid my bill, the owner actually threw in an extra stick of the Connecticut house blend. Excellent service. Reasonable price (for a cigar lounge). I wandered in here after a friend and I had done dim sum at Capital Seafood. We weren't quite ready to head back to DTLA on the train and wanted to hang out a bit. A quick google search revealed Robusto Cigars in walking distance so I stopped in. I met Sam (assuming he's the owner) and he was so pleasant and helpful. Got myself an Aging Room M19 (not the easiest cigar to come by) and was super pleased. I wish I lived in the area to come by more often but it was definitely a shop I'll visit again next time we go back for Dim Sum. read more

Robusto Cigar is a positive to the small Arcadia social scene. Centrally located to cover Pasadena, Alhambra, San Gabriel, Arcadia, and Monrovia this location will accommodate the casual to the serious cigar smoker, giving them a friendly complaint free environment in which to enjoy a good cigar and good company. The clientele is diverse and the conversation is lively but respectful. Sam the owner tries to make everyone feel welcomed and involved with the other patrons. He introduces himself and everyone. Though this is a new place I feel it's gotten off to a great start and with Sams leadership the store has great potential. The cigars in the walk-in humidor run the range in price and quality (Something for everyone), and Sam has beautiful accessories to accommodate the most discriminating taste. The lounge is friendly, comfortable and inviting. This is not just a man cave place, I've noticed on several occasions groups of woman coming in and enjoying a cigar. This again adds to the diversity of Robusto. Sam gladly gives any novice cigar smoker a tutorial. Wow...... where to start.... my friend (a veteran in a weekchair) and I are thinking about smoking a cigar and were thinking Havana house but tokd him i had seen some cigar lounge so lets check that out instead. . So I take my friend and as we enter and are about to sit down and put my bad of cigars on the table I get asked what kind of cigars were those and I replied they were Cohibas (Red Dots) and suddenly out of the blue told me straight up "Get the fuck out of here that he's not interested" i was not there to sell anything but just have a smike with mt buddy. I was truly stunned. I have never been treated like that in my entire life and it was very disrespectful. I couldn't even have a proper meet and greet with the owner without him blowing up like he did. I really can't say I recommend this place or not but with company like HIM i would ratber stay home and have a cigar by myself. Thanks alot for making us feel at home read more

Robusto cigars is a great enviroment for a pleasant smoke. The prices are VERY competitive and lower then other cigar lounges in the area. There is free ample free parking in the front and rear. There is a good selection of fine cigars for every catergory of smokers. Will be returning to Robusto cigars on a regular basis!! read more
