And the storefront is in the right place...at the outlet mall where shopaholics roam freely. and the personal touch for lonely shopaholics with all the interactional instagram promotion shows- how could any shopaholic in hot pursuit of a good deal hate NU2u? and the dibs tactic on their zoom sales posts to accommodate lazy shoppers. btw- tell whoever wants dibs on an item should get their ass in the store and buy it-not hold everyone else up while they make up their mind) For current or prospective consigner/sellers: NU2U has another side I don't believe most of these happy shoppers on this forum experience. so, whether it's worth consigning to them depends on your goals and expectations. if your goal is to retrieve all the sunk costs in that Coach purse you just got tired of you're in the wrong place. if you want to declutter for any reason, want to feel less guilty about throwing out clothes that still viable (so you can buy more?) by at least making a token amount of cash and helping to save the planet(?) by all means. but..,sustainability? Save the planet? Helping the less fortunate? please! what happens to the stuff you consign to them that they can't make a buck off of? where does that ultimately land? check the local Goodwills and landfills. So make no mistake that their main reason for being in business is to make a very nice living for themselves by providing all these "deals" for these shoppers-but is accomplished at the expense and ("perceived exploitation"?) of consignors that are expected to give up their highly resell-able goodies for alot less. Last time I consigned, I netted $7.60 for a brand new pair of BJorn Loafers that retailed for $160 and still available at retail places. Also, When I started consigning the owners were very nice as described but lately I got to experience them without their masks on. So- last time I drove to their store to retrieve my unsold stuff before they appropriated it and declared it their property (btw some would call that legalized theft) I had a very unpleasant experience with them. At that time; 1) one of the associates was trying to discourage me from taking my stuff back by enforcing a 25 percent pen-alty on my payout because it was three days short of the consignment period expiration in accordance with their one-sided contract-but pointing out that this same associate delayed acknowledging having my things for 2 weeks after she had them; when the clock starts was not in their contract, of course. 2). at that time of the discussion another store associate interrupted us and was, in my opinion, very angry, loud and confrontational to me in front of the whole store. In fact I was wondering if she was all there in her obvious attempt to bully me. So I left without retrieving my items and vowed not to return after that rather unpleasant and unprofessional interaction. So, to speak of my experience as a seller, in addition to being prepared to have a thick skin, prepare to not have too high expectations in exchange for the energy you have to expend by having to take the items to the store, prepare the consignments and otherwise gift wrap them for the staff. And once they told me many days after I dropped off items and was out of town they decided threw some of my things away (per their contract of course) And once on the day of pickup I couldn't find all my unsold stuff on the floor because as it turned out, it was hiding somewhere else-(btw if you can't retrieve your things by the deadline for any reason they get to keep them without having to pay you anything for them) But what one may see as gray areas of ethics and opportunities for self service they would call business required to maintain quality of selection and cater to their customers. If you do consign consider going for bulk with things that you are of low value, but then you would be at cross purposes with THEIR goals. everything has a cycle and perhaps the party might be over for sellers. there's always Poshmark I guess.

Prices range form average to pricey but as always it depends on what "pricey" is to you. I find the clothes really not my taste or size, but I have added a scarf or two to my accessory box. Mini-MI loves to buy little knickknacks for her room and as gifts for birthdays. Everything is in little sections and by occasion, there isn't much elbow room in some sections-- so I would suggest you carry your toddler or baby, not room for a stroller. It can be really warm inside I don't think its from the heater as much as its a small building without open windows and twice the perfume or air freshener is a bit overpowering. We have yet to eat at the café but I have had friends who have enjoyed it in the summer time and say its nice. I'll have to check it out.

Upon entering the small shop, inviting scents and visually appealing colors welcomed me. Because it was Valentine's day weekend, the shop was covered in beautiful flowers. Everywhere I looked there were flowers. Roses to be exact. The store is arranged nicely for the amount of space they are working with. Be very careful...this is not a place to bring your stroller into unless you want to risk knocking something off the rack. Prices are a bit steep. I can understand to an extent. The chocolates being sold were from another store (as per the label), so in order to make a profit, there had to be an upcharge. It makes sense...you're paying a little more for the convenience of gettting...say the chocolate and some other gift all in one place. It's nice to have the option, but if you're looking for reasonable prices, it isn't happening here. I appreciate the off the wall items that are unique. They have Alex and Ani, and other bracelet brands I haven't heard of that might be the next hit. I was bummed about not seeing the entry forms for the lipstick kiss contest. Over by that area was some coffee and mini biscotti. I wasn't sure if this was complimentary or something you had to pay for. A sign would help. The staff was friendly and helpful. A little too helpful for my taste, but I'm just a person who would rather look around on my own. I'm certain, on this weekend in particular, some of the men found the willingness to help pick out items and answer questions very pleasing. The bag you receive your purchase in is cute. I would have preferred to have been asked if I wanted to be on the mailing list as opposed to asked for all of my contact info prior to ringing me up. In a small shop like this, I didn't know if it was a requirement of sorts for the transaction because it wasn't mentioned to me what the info was for. Overall, this shop definitely has a niche - there aren't many places that specialize in some more unique women's gifty items as well as serve a light fare amidst a patio. I'm glad this shop exists, and I like that they have a Yelp promo. I'd return if I was in the area.
