Literally none of it surprised me. I'm sure in real life he is very good at sprinkler repair. And, I'm also sure he might be a nice person. I experienced neither of those things. Recently I had a large underground leak spring up around my front porch near my main residential line, possibly could have been sprinkler related but was not sure; either way it was concerning, as it was flooding portions of my front yard. So finding this business on the app I decided to give him a call - I explained the problem, asked if he could tell what it might be, and maybe come over and take a look for a quick quote. His response? Good ol' fashion anger. He got super argumentative. That the leak could be anything, that he wouldn't be able to come out for a few days, and even if he could it wouldn't be cheap...that he's been doing this for decades and he just knows. Overall real combative and said whatever it was that I needed, that he couldn't help. Like wow. Just imagine everyone you've ever met that was in so dire need of a yoga class or a hug that you could just hear it in their voice- that was Rod. In just a short conversation on the phone, that was him. After going back-and-forth with him (I tried to hang up, he wanted to keep going) for a couple minutes we bid each other farewell and I found another great business (Valley Roots) that was able to quickly come out and help with fair prices and, even better, they were awesome dudes. It's amazing how a decent attitude can be good for business. I do not recommend the sprinkler doctor, as the only thing I think he would be able to cure you of is having a pleasant day. Maybe he should focus his next few decades of work on some positivity.
