I have been collecting sports memorabilia for over 30 years and recently started looking for music industry memorabilia. After exhaustive research trying to find authentic autographed record covers and guitars I was starting to lose faith in finding something legitimate. I had a friend tell me about Michael and the Rock Star Gallery. Hallelujah I finally found what I was looking for and a genuine expert in the field. I had a number of conversations with Michael prior to my purchase and after each I became more and more sure that these guys are the real deal! What a cool mini gallery. Today was my first time in. I brought my best friends daughter in as we stumbled on the shop. It was a great experience for the both of us. The shop has a gallery feel even though it is small. There is music videos playing while you look over the beautifully displayed autographed memorabilia and art. I was so impressed by the variety of treasures. The little one got an opportunity to learn about some of the greatest artist who made music history. She was mesmerized by guitars. Our favorite was the displays for Prince. Definitely a place to drop in. You can purchase for yourself or buy a gift. The associate was very welcoming and friendly. For ten years our family has spent the month of February in Scottsdale. Every year we visit Rockstar Gallery. When I decided to begin collecting this was the place I decided would be where I purchase items to start and grow my collection. That journey began six years ago with my first purchase. When deciding on what to buy I corresponded with Michael and Scott via email and by phone until we selected the item. This year on our annual visit to RSG I stopped in to say hello to Scott and he introduced me to Michael. Although we had only spoken by phone or communicated by email Michael greeted me as if I was a long time friend. He remembered the items I purchased in the past and took time to talk to me about what I may be looking for down the road. With me was my wife, my son and his wife. After we visited for quite a while Michael took us into another part of the gallery filled with some of his personal treasures. There he spent time with all of us exchanging stories about some incredible personal experiences. It was an unexpected and thoroughly enjoyable time. Michael his wife and Scott are people who make you feel like old friends rather that clients. Michael is the best, 1st class service all round, professional, polite, extremely informative, very quick replies to emails and as helpful as you can get! If you're looking for somewhere with authentic signed music memorabilia & a 1st class service then this is the place! I spent hours & hours for weeks trying to find somewhere as good as this and it was worth the wait trust me! I purchased two signed Prince Album covers with Genuine Platinum & Gold award albums, and the display, quality & workmanship was absolutely amazing, it blew me away. Make no mistake, a lot of work is put into these frames, the best I have seen by far. I hesitantly asked to change one of the displays from horizontal to vertical so they both matched, the response? I emailed inquiring about a signed photograph and not only did the owner Michael Dunn get back to me the same evening he actually had something even better! The HOLY GRAIL of GNR memorabilia!!! The original BANNED Robert Williams Appetite for Destruction cover, signed by the original 5 members, framed with a Platinum vinyl! It was too good to be true! The customer service he provided was out of this world, his patience and love for the industry shined through from the first moment we spoke. He kept me updated through the whole process and laughed at my Eager Beaver emails. The piece arrived within five days wrapped better than any gift I've received! He even included presents for my boyfriend and I, t-shirts as well as the live GNR dvd box set - which I can't wait to watch!!
