What to say, just everything is amazing about Rockaberry's pies, maybe a little overpriced but is a must to fill that sweet tooth craving you'll have no regrets spending that extra bit for the high quality pies! Sandwiches are fresh and yummy as well! The cappuccinos are good and above all the service I always get is great! The one downfall is the noise level at times is high due to the crowd and how packed it gets not a great place sometimes for those who go for a convo and caffe/desert you may have to talk loud lol. There is a nice terrasse as well! Big 5stars though for the quality! Treat yourself! Remember life is short so eat dessert first!!

Great spot to catch a dessert, they have a whole page in the menu from multiple cheesecakes to pies and also an extended beverage menu with alcohol or not. I didn't try a meal but the place was packed, which also means it was LOUD! We were placed at a small table next to the bar and had to wait a long time for service. Too many waiters passed us by until we asked for menus 15 minutes later. Once we ordered, the service was nice. This place always had movement as soon as a table is cleared, new customers are seated. I tried the strawberry shortcake and it was delicious, fresh whipped cream, light moist vanilla cake and a straberries. My daughter had a cheesecake where the base was apple pie, the middle layer was cheesecake and it was topped with apple crumble. Too big to eat, she brought half home, many had their little box bringing home their leftovers.

Absolutely disappointed with this place. In all the years that I have been a customer I have never received a pie that was raw. How embarrassing bringing that to someone's house and we had to try and cook it. Not only did that happen but on Instagram I tried to message them and the completely IGNORED my message even though I see they read it. Never going back.

So..... "We're gonna grab steamies. How many do you want"? yells out a couple of Canadian poker buds. "IDK several or a dozen" I yell back from the restroom of the hotel room thinking I heard 'wennies' as in small sausages. 30 minutes later, uncontrolled laughter as they hand me a huge bag. "Here's your dozen". * * * * * * A Montreal institution that for 94 years has focused on one thing, steamies. Take a Shopsy's slender seven incher, warm it and stick it in a smaller than the States side ball park bun, slather it with whatever, maybe top it with a heaping pile of vinegary coleslaw and there you have it. The hotdog, not natural (nitrates and phosphates). No one said this was health food. Here's the thing, meaning no disrespect to those who grew up with these doggies but they are just hotdogs. Love the addition of the slaw but still just hotdogs. Inexpensive. $2.50 - $3.50 each. Great counter service. Nuff said.

The restaurant is very small and more of a take out counter, with no seating, there is also a drive through. Note they take cash only, there are ATMs on site. We ordered 2 types of hot dogs and a poutine - the hot dogs were good, michigan sauce could have been more flavorful, it was lacking some sweetness. Poutine was a disappointment - the fries were not salted and sauce also lacked some flavor. It was thin and runny, closer to a BBQ type of sauce like St-Hubert style rather than the thick brown gravy. I found everything could have used more flavor. There is only 1 size poutine and it was on the small size. Considering this is some type of historical institution that's been around since 1929, I expected to be charmed but the food was very average and on the expensive side.

I wanna give a huge thanks to the staff for accommodating us on such short notice as the table we were assigned to was too small and they quickly came up with a solution. My waitress seemed kind of annoyed that i didn't speak French, which is unfortunate. I also ordered a pizza that came out wrong and she literally never came back until it was time to pay after i sent it back to be fixed. A little annoying. Ask for an English menu, otherwise it'll be hard to order if you you don't speak French. It was cool to be able to order food for less than $6 each! The French onion soup? 10/10. I loved it. Could order again and again. The veggie pizza (not pictured) 7/10. Le pimp drink? 8/10. Seltzer water? Also 10/10. Idk why i enjoyed that so much but i thought i should mention it. Also! If you have the opportunity to go on your birthday? Do it. It's a fun little surprise. I went when there was at least 10 birthday celebrations, which killed the excitement a bit, but still cute.

As I was very hungry and looking for some comfort food, I decided on this burger joint that was on my bookmarks for the past 3 years. Needless to say, I was very satisfied. As I walked in this place, I was served by very friendly staff who promptly took my order. The service that night however was slow because they had to make the fries just for us. The wait for it was well worth though. I took "Le Farci" which is a burger with the beef patty stuffed with cheese; something that I've never tasted before. This patty topped with a great sauce and the crisp yet soft in the middle bun made it into a perfect burger. I also took a side of poutine, which was great as well. The fries were fresh and crispy, with just the right amount of sauce to melt that cheese. This place is definitely worth the trip if you are craving not only for a burger, but for good food!

I'm so glad I did--this place turned out to be the perfect cozy refuge from the cold, offering a welcoming atmosphere and delicious comfort food that hit the spot. Video Review will be posted on Tik Tok and Instagram soon @Foxyappetite In depth review: Atmosphere: Fanfare is exactly what you need on a snowy day. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of friendly energy. It felt like stepping into a cozy retreat, where the chill from outside melts away as soon as you walk in. The music was upbeat yet soothing, creating an ideal background for a laid-back brunch. It was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a good meal, and escape the wintery weather. Coffee: I kicked things off with a cappuccino, which was the perfect antidote to the snowy roads. The coffee was flawlessly brewed--smooth espresso with just the right amount of froth, providing the perfect boost to start the day. It set the tone for the meal ahead and got me feeling energized. CLASSIQUE DÉJEUNER (18.50): For my main dish, I went with the "Classique Déjeuner," and it truly delivered. The Toulouse sausage was rich and flavorful, seasoned to perfection. The bacon was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside--just how I like it. The sunny-side-up eggs were cooked perfectly, with yolks that were perfectly runny and ideal for dipping into. The roasted potatoes were light and crisp, and the mini salad added a nice, fresh contrast to balance out the richness of the other elements. The homemade bread was fresh and soft, a simple but essential touch. This was classic breakfast comfort food at its finest--hearty, satisfying, and exactly what you need to start the day. PUDDING SALÉ (22.00): In the mood for something a little different, I also decided to try the "Pudding Salé." This savory herb pudding roasted in butter was a unique and flavorful dish. The smoked meat was tender and juicy, and the eggs provided a nice creamy texture. The homemade crème fraîche added a rich element, while the house-pickled vegetables offered a bright, tangy contrast that balanced the richness of the dish beautifully. It was an inventive twist on brunch fare that I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall: I was able to settle into a sunny corner and get some work done while enjoying my meal, which made the whole experience both productive and relaxing. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was just right for catching up with a friend, taking a break, or getting some work done. This brunch was exactly what I needed after the snowy weather--great food, a warm and cozy space, and a chill vibe. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu. If you're in Montreal, especially after a snowstorm, Fanfare Brunch Boulangerie is a must-visit!
