Absolutely Horrible Experience: Especially with One Employee I don't usually write reviews, but this experience was beyond frustrating. There was a pregnant woman there, her name was Katy (I believe) was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I'm a woman who has worked in the restaurant industry, so I fully understand how stressful customer-facing jobs can be. That's why I made sure to be polite and respectful throughout our interaction. Unfortunately, that effort was not returned. Katy came off as completely miserable and made an already stressful situation so much worse. She offered no help, no compassion, and certainly no professionalism. I understood the towing policy. I wasn't there to argue but her attitude made everything harder, especially for someone dealing with this for the first time. On the bright side, one of the towing guys I spoke with was kind and helpful, and I really appreciated that. But it's unfortunate that one person can make such a negative impact on the entire experience. If management is reading this, I would have loved the chance to speak to someone in charge, but Katy refused to provide any contact information. read more

We went to get our items and Rockdale refused unless we could pay the balance. We explained that the insurance of the person who hit us would take care of that and it was not legal to hold someone's belongings until a tow fee was paid. The ignorant pregnant lady at the front slammed the window multiple times her attitude was atrocious and the manager was the same way. They did not care and held our belongings anyway! When the insurance finally paid and we got to go in the car most of the belongings were gone even mail with our address!! This is the second time a crashed car of ours was towed there and items went missing this is not the place to go and avoid at all cost unless you want your items stolen. read more

Our car was to Rockdale after a collision. I tried to visit the vehicle on a Sunday to retrieve some personal items. I was told by an employee that I could not access the vehicle without permission from my insurance company (USAA), whose claim department is closed on Sunday. I wasn't asking for any special treatment, only to visit the car and grab my EZ-Pass and some maintenance receipts from my glovebox. The employee was rude and dismissive. She showed no empathy or awareness for my situation, or any desire to listen. Maybe a fat towing contract with the State Police allows you to act that way. read more

Christmas Eve 2022 I stopped at the Royal farms on rte 40 in Baltimore and their machine gave me a flat tire. George with Rockdale Towing saw my full meltdown while on the phone with my mom and offered to help me. He put air in all four of my tires. If it were not for George I would've been waiting hours for a tow truck or help. This man is the reason I still have hope for society. He was so kind to take time out of his Christmas Eve to help me. Miserable Scum If i could give them "O" stars i would $204 charge for a tow. Driver told me it would be $150. Car was covered in mud. Yellow crayon numbers all over it they wouldn't wash off. It was there less than 24 hrs and i got charged for 2 days storage. Carpets were filthy The employees were the typical rude, slow, couldn't care less type. But, their career is working for a tow company, so that must suck The worst was they dented my bumper and cracked my rear light. My car had snow on it so i didn't see it until after i got it out from the car wash. The cop agreed with me that when he pulled me over, none of my lights were broken. If they were, i would have been given a ticket and repair order. Police report filed, but he said basically good luck and they have a bad reputation They are parasites. I had a tire blowout and they came in 22minutes. Towed car and gave me a ride to the tire store. Driver was very polite and helpful.

If you can help it, don't use their service. I had no choice. I arrived about 12 hrs after they picked up my car and there was yellow marker on the windshield and more damage had been done to the vehicle. The ladies inside were very unprofessional and rude. When I walked in they did not acknowledge my presence initially so I just stood at the counter until one of them stopped talking and spoke. While in the office in the midst of taking care of my business and getting my car released they continued to talk amongst each other. Very unprofessional. read more

Last week at around 7 at night I was stuck on the side of the road. Not only was it dark, but it was also a rainy mess. I called for a tow, and Dennis showed up in no time! He was friendly and personable, with a spunky sense of humor. These kind of situations suck, but Dennis made it so much easier. He even let me sit in his truck while he got my car safely on the bed of his truck. I am a little picky, but he was so gentle with my baby. I would def recommend Rockdale Towing for anyone who find themselves in a sticky situation such as mine. He really seemed to like his job, which is not what you normally see now adays.
