I returned it, and they said they would put the money back on my credit card which was $140. The days came and went and I called and talked to their lady in billing and she gave me some story about the the person processing the returns, being out sick, and no one else could do it. I waited and the following week nothing, and I called back again, she told me he was trying to catch up now, he hasn't got caught up with all his work. I called again on. August 26, a full 22 days later, than I did the return. This woman was very rude to me and told me I needed to calm down and talked down to me. I was understandably upset, and I used a cuss word in a sentence, but not directed at her, and she said don't cuss at me, and I said I didn't, I just used it in a sentence. she continued to lecture me and talk down to me instead of working on the problem. I said you can understand why I'm angry, because it's been 22 days.. and instead of helping me , she hung up on me. Then I called back and try to talk to another person who couldn't even help me. He looked up the account online for me after I gave him the invoice number, but he said I can't help you. Then the owner calls me and he proceeded to talk down to me and acted like I did something wrong. I told him his billing department woman wouldn't help me, and I did use a cuss word and I shouldn't have, but at that point I was understandably upset. And then he told me to F*** off, at this point, my daughter heard him say this to me, and came to my defense and started yelling and cussing, because he was on speaker. I told my daughter to shut up and get out of the room, because I was angry because she always interferes on my calls. But absolutely none of the owners business. Then the owner called me a piece of shit and said I'm not gonna help you. You treat your daughter like crap. What kind of father are you? What kind of person are you. you sound like a piece of s**** and I said look, I just want my return. It's been 22 days and I'm tired of the runaround. He proceeded at this point to continue belittling me, telling me I was a bad parent, and a bad person. I said, you know maybe I should just come down there and he started getting an attitude like he wanted to fight me and he's like oh yes, come on down, I would love that....... A slight pause and then, he said to me again, " come on down here" and then he hung up on me. Instead of me going there, because he obviously wanted to fight me and I didn't want to get in trouble. I decided to write this review. I decided to write this Google review to warn everyone. Do not buy anything from them, and if you do, make sure you don't have to bring it back, because you will go thru hell trying to get your money back. and they will belittle you and treat you like it's your problem, that you're mad . I will never do business with them again and I hope this review saves people from having to go through the runaround that I had to go through. It is now the end of the day and they still haven't processed the return.

Insurance company works with Mike's. $4k estimate. Dropped it off on day 1. They said it would take 10 days, give or take. Day 11 I drive by because we hadn't heard anything. The car is sitting under a metal carport with the hood, bumper, and side panels off to the side. The mechanic comes out and says it's the car that's being totalled. No one ever called me. On day 3, they found a loose wire on the top of the engine requiring the entire harness to be replaced for $3k plus 6 hours of labor and a dent in the radiator bracket. That changed the estimate to $10k- more than the insurance threshold. No one ever called me. It sat outside, uncovered for over a week. The cabin air filter was open and exposed during a rain. There were leaves all in the engine compartment. Day 12, a Friday, I contact the insurance company and start figuring out my options. Day 16, a Tuesday, I call Mike's to find out how I could walk away from the insurance claim because I found a shop that would replace the 1 loose wire with a $100 pigtail and leave the radiator as is because it doesn't affect the structure. He says it will cost me $110 a day in storage fees. From here the relationship goes sideways and the insurance company gets involved to tell him he can't do that. Unfortunately, at this point, I can't drop the insurance claim to fix it ourselves or take the car back as a salvage title after it was exposed to the elements and questioning what other damage would show up that wasn't there during the first estimate.

The day after we dropped the car off we got a phone call stating that some parts were broken during the removal and our new total would be an additional $800. The person that did the estimate said he would still honor the estimate since these parts were never discussed that they needed to be remove. I called the shop to make sure that we would not be charged the extra amount and spoke with Tracy who told me that we will have to pay for the parts or they will not do the work on our car. So now they are holding our car hostage until we agree to pay for the parts. Take my advise and NEVER use this company they are very unprofessional and do not stand by their estimate!
