I should have read these reviews before. I'm also getting nowhere with my termite "service." I've had termites eating a door frame for over a year and they are having a feast. They keep coming out and "inspecting" and writing a report that says "no activity." Yet I see termite dust and debris on the floor at the site of the door jamb. I'm on my fourth re-inspection. I made an appointment with this company to have an internal and exterior treatment for pests. I was provided with a date and time. I received numerous reminders through their automated system. They DID NOT arrive at their stated time. They DID NOT contact me that they were going to be late. I had to cancel my plans. I have called them and emailed them to discuss their lack of respect for my time and questions about the service. DO NOT use this service if you expect prompt arrival. DO NOT use this service if you expect them to respond to your questions and concerns. DO NOT use this service if you expect them to respect your time. Update: Although waiting for the double charge refund --I was not refunded what I paid in advance for services not yet rendered. So, currently - Im out $82.00 because no one wants to return my calls on that payment. So Frustrating and I feel bad for anyone having to go through this. Hopefully it's cancelled... Unfortunately the new company that took over is a let down (Rocket Pest Control). Im already facing double billing issues that require me to follow up because of no callback support. Started off great then changed their name and everything went downhill. I noticed they would only spray the front of the house. They didn't check rodent traps. They would never go through the gate and spray the back of the house. They stopped responding to E-mails and phone calls. I attempted to cancel multiple times and I wasn't able to talk to anyone until I called and pressed the new customer option on their phone menu. Then miraculously someone answered. read more

The customer service was great upon inquiry. I kept in contact with Kathy prior to service, she was super patient and professional answering all of my questions. I agreed to the 2 part service where they spray inside and outside once, then come back two weeks later for a follow up. The technicians arrived on time and were great. I was considering a monthly plan however, since this is my mother in laws house and she's paying for the service, I wanted to confirm with her that she was comfortable with this, and the monthly cost. I told the office that I'd follow up with them on if we wanted to do so, but I never did that. Therefore, all services were rendered and our business with each other was now complete. I received an email of a document to be signed labeled "Platinum Home Service Quote". I text Kathy asking why I needs to sign this, and she informed me that it was only a "service receipt", but that was a lie. I read the whole attachment, and it was in fact a contract. I never signed it, therefore I was never locked into any agreement. On 1/19/23 I received a text message from the company asking to add another credit card to the file, I ignored it. I didn't even read the whole text. Again, the next day I get another text saying the same this, but this time I read it and it said that there's a balance due. I respond asking how is there a balance due if there was no contract for continuing service. Tiffany told me that they don't have contracts, and that they have me on a recorded line agreeing to ongoing monthly service. That is a sham, and a lie. I never agreed to ongoing monthly service, but in-fact deeply inquired about the service and the details. She said "we respect your decision to cancel service, and that it is canceled". #1 If I agreed to a service that was captured on a recording then by obligation of said contractual agreement they would be within their rights to charge the card on file. The card on file is good, with plenty of available funds, but they didn't do that. #2 I saw the warnings about this company on 2 different platforms before I decided to commit to them, but I overlooked them due to the customer service that I received while initially deciding on a company. The problem here is the shoddy business practices after you initiate service with them. Port Saint Lucie is a retirement community full of older people that can, and are easily taken advantage of. If they tried this with me who happens to not be of the older demographic, then how many other older people do they do this to and get away with it. I don't like this, and will be following this complaint up with the BBB, Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and the Attorney General. They need to be held accountable for this kind of business practices, and do better. read more

So I would rate this 5 just because the guy that came in was extremely nice that did the spraying etc. although they told me if the problem didn't go away they would come back. They problem stayed the same so I called back and no answer I messaged Kathy in text still no answer I called again ( in morning) and left a message to call me back and explaining everything and no call back. I never evvvver leave reviews but it's annoying that before I payed she was very helpful and was super quick to call me back bla bla bla but as soon as they have my money no help. If I could give a 0 star I would. I was scammed by this company with their cockroach package with 2 sprays and a 30 day guarantee. The German cockroaches never went away in the kitchen but I gave it 3 weeks after the second spray to see if it needed time to kick in. It didn't kick in. German cockroaches still in my kitchen and when I called about their guarantee, suddenly their policy changed and it was 30 days from the 1st spray, not the second which was NEVER documented or explained to me. They wanted more money to come back and the treatment they did never worked. The worst part is that the operations manager lied to the owner of the house and said she told me it was 30 days from the first spray. SCAM ALERT! I will be finding a company that is honest and their treatments work! read more

They don't prepare you for the first quarter charging at once and make it seem like it's a lesser monthly charge. They still have my money, will be contacting my fraud department at the bank. Adem's pest control really doesn't deserve even 1 star. they miss lead people for instance they charge $99.00 for home. That $99 doesn't mean the inside of the house it means they clean cobwebs off the windows on the outside of the house & they only come inside if you call in advance & have a specific problem. Adams pest control likes to think of themselves as a subscription service, for instance, if you choose home service for $99. the come quarterly however they charge your credit card $33. per month but they come in 3 month not every month. the outside service is $65 a quarter but they charge you $21.67 per month but only come after 3 months. Do you really want to do business with a firm that has to charge you every month to keep their head above water. I wonder is they refund you money if they go out of business???????? read more

So, I was going to let the review end at my husband's review (Mike C.) However, I will NOT stand for lies and false claims. When I communicated via text chat with Adam's Pest Control, prior to hiring them. I advised them that we had tried ONE company before them and that they were the SECOND people we were reaching out to for our pest issue. At NO point prior to hiring Adam's Pest Control did they advise that it would take "up to 30 days (and "sometimes up to THREE months") to get control of any issues. This is why my husband stated that it is absolutely ridiculous. We can go back and forth with he-said/she-said, but it is pointless. Instead, let's go on whats in WRITING: In your LAWN contract it clearly states that it may take up to 90 days for control of pests in LAWN. Nowhere in the contract for in-home pest control does it state anything regarding 30 days. They also claimed they treat attics- yet technician made no attempt to even go in the attic. Even after explaining to technician that we had found a nest underneath the air handler in the attic several months ago, which is what initially inspired us to contact the first pest control company. As you can see in the screen shot, they stated: "Yes we treat the attic, and you don't have to ahve the inside treated. However, you're always covered for it." They claimed that the technician would be able to advise us of the chemicals used. However, as you can see in the screen shots, company told us the following "We cannot provide that as we have over 200 products and the technician uses each product specific to each homes pest issues and pest species. Products, and chemicals are PEST SPECIFIC, not all ants are treated the same, or with the same products. " Adam's pest control tried to tell us that their technician said we had a Ghost ant problem. When I supplied the proof that what we have are in fact black carpenter ants indoors, Adam's suddenly claimed their technician treated for ALL ants indoors. However, their products are supposedly species specific or as they call it "designer" products? They also claimed: "Yes, the technician will find the source/nest of the pest." However, this was NOT done. Technician came out to do the first "initial" treatment on 7/15/2022, it is now 7/29/2022. We paid for a full month/initial month of service. However, after several difficulties and lack of success with Adam's, my husband called a few days ago to cancel. Then today, just 14 days after start of service, they sent a technician out unannounced to retrieve the rodent bait stations. At the very least, we expected to have these bait stations until the end of the month that we PAID for. So, we paid for a full 30 days of service, yet Adam's comes to claim their bait stations and prevents us from being able to contact them again- even though technically we still have an additional 16 days of "unlimited service calls?" Right.. If what we paid was only for INITIAL service, then that is something your company needs to clarify UP FRONT. Instead of stating that even if we canceled, we would get the 30 days still. I communicated constantly with Adam's Pest Control as we saw no change. To the contrary, we started finding millipedes in our home which we have NEVER once seen indoors or outdoors in our home. The evidence will be in the screen shots (if this website allows for pictures), including a photo that they sent us today when I questioned them regarding this false claim in their response to my husband's review. This was after lack of success with a prior company which will remain unnamed AND lack of success with Adam's, when I advised them that it has been THREE months with TWO separate companies (Unnamed & Adam's.) With prior company, we did not have Fire Ant issues or issues outside, this was NEW. We merely had issues with black ants within our home. Adam's Pest Control has proven to lack professionalism in many regards, but especially in stating lies and also false assumptions regarding us and a prior pest control company. We had zero issue with prior pest control company and our technician was honest and kind. We sought out a different company after they had told us their chemicals were pet-friendly and safe for humans, but when their technician arrived, he stated that he wouldn't feel comfortable spraying in our home with a small child and small dogs. So, we wanted to find another honest company that would have pet-safe/child-safe methods to be able to spray within the home and help eliminate the problem. However, this only created further problems inside and with the company themselves. We were hoping to have success with this company because we saw they had 4.7 stars. Which we find rather interesting since with more research into the reviews, Adam's has an unbelievable about of 1-star reviews. Regardless, we would not consider using them again. read more

I originally gave them 5 stars because I was impressed with their service but after they take your money, they turn an ugly leaf and become incredibly rude and disrespectful. I knew I had a pest control person coming out on Monday 6/13 and I texted them before I went out and asked Kathy when they are coming. I got a reply that they always will contact you one hour before coming regardless of the window of 8-5. I was ok with that because they always let me know. Long story short a technician told me he is 20 minutes away. I was in the store with my baby and obviously didn't see my phone until about 40 minutes after I received that text. I call back to see what happened and Kathy starts yelling at me. She is extremely rude, unprofessional and I was appalled. She is really yelling at me and starts blaming me that I didn't pick up the phone when they called. I was shocked because first no customer service rep has has ever yelled at me and secondly she's the one who told me that the technician would text me an hour in advance. Now all of a sudden she back pedals and is says it's impossible for technicians to tell you in advance and that they called me to let me know but I didn't answer. I said Its impossible for me to look at my phone 24/7 because I'm out and busy with a baby. I asked them if they will come again before my next service and I was told no but I remember that they said they would come if you ask them to. The only reason I currently haven't canceled my service is because I'm really happy that they fixed my bug problem... but for someone who paid nearly 1000 bucks just for bedbug treatments plus 200 something for their routine service , you would think they would know better than to speak to someone so disrespectfully. I never leave long written reviews because I usually just let things slide but today I realized it's only fair to speak up. If you want to keep customers happy don't yell at them to try and cover up what you did wrong. read more

I thought I found the perfect pest control company when speaking to their sales person over the phone. I agreed to the contract when I was told that they would service my 4 bait traps around the outside of the house as part of the service. The technician came he stated that he could only find two of my traps. He proceeded to place two if his own traps on my property (traps that no one told me came with the service) that I didn't need now that I had a total of six traps (seems he didn't really look for the my other traps which were right against the house). It's a quarterly service and from the initial visit this was a minor concern but their technician showed up 3 weeks later for another treatment and another $99 charge! A day later I got an irate call from their Ops mgr. She told me that in the future they won't be baiting my 4 traps (which are legal - supplied by another pest control company) and that they would only bait their two traps (which I didn't need). When a company doesn't keep their word according to their own sales rep and contract agreement then it's time to part ways. read more

Adams' Pest Conrol in Port St Lucie is a disgrace. I've had them to my house several times and had problems every time. The first time their employee sprayed my dogs bowls and they got sick. I complained and they sent out a different guy and I caught him urinating in my backyard. I called and threatened to cancel my service and they sent a different employee, several things went missing after that visit. When I called to report the theft, they denied it. I called the police and their driver was pulled over and found in possession of my belongings and his heroin and needles. Please don't use these animals for your own safety! read more

Had Adam's come in to exterminate palmetto bugs. Agreed to pay $225 for two spraying sessions, about 2 weeks apart. Sprayed very thoroughly during the first visit. Refused to provided the second spraying, because I did not see any palmetto bugs. Would not reimburse me for the second session that I paid for. About two weeks after they refused to respray, the bugs were back. While they seem to know bugs and lawn care, they are dishonest. I immediately cancelled their service. read more

After recently moving into a new home in PSL West, we encountered a problem with "ghost ants" otherwise called "sugar ants". We had never seen these before and did not know they were actually ants as thy were white and tiny and hard to see. We tolerated this for about 4-5 days and then in frustration I searched the web for a good pest control company. I saw several excellent reviews for Adam's and the fact that they care about the environment. I called and they sent Shila the next day. Shila was knowledgeable about ants and all Florida pests, and explained about "ghost ants". She treated the areas involved and also did a comprehensive evaluation and treatment of the outside foundation area as we had seen brown/black ants out there and in the garage. We were amazed at the effectiveness of the treatments. I called Shila again in 3-4 days. She returned the following day and retreated for the "ghost ants" in the kitchen we were still seeing. That solved the problem. It has now been about 4 weeks and we have not seen any more sugar/ghost ants inside or brown ants outside. Adams responded quickly. They know their business. Their technician Shila was great. She listened and understood the problem and treated it quickly and correctly. I would highly recommend Adam's Pest Control.
