Hello. I first came here to an event in the Connie Lane meeting room. The people and community are…read moregreat! Outside of the event, I went to explore the library itself because it was my first time at the Montague Branch location. The majority of the library is on the second floor, while the bathrooms and meeting room(s) are on the first floor (the floor you walk into from the parking lot). My experience on the inside was 5 stars and great. There were people studying together at a table, there were kids working quietly on the computers in the computer room, there was a guy by himself reading a book. Everyone was respectful of each other's space and noise levels while I was there. The two library assistants I met were happy to have me there and even happier to help me find what I needed or was looking for. They answered all my questions and especially notified me that if I felt I didn't fit all the requirements for an event that I should still show up and register to join! I definitely recommend this place. Many people have told me it's one of the oldest branches but its definitely their favorite branch! The only major downside I have from my visit here is that parking spaces are few! So, if you're someone who doesn't have a car this is a great place for you, I feel. But bringing lots of people with cars might be a problem. There's a tiny parking lot and then fend for yourself on the streets with street parking and what not. I definitely do recommend giving it your own feel through and see for yourself if you like this location or not. I, for sure, want to come back and maybe study in the corner by myself some day. :)

This is one of the worst libraries in the world! Loud, lots of babies crying right in the darn…read morecomputer room. had to leave and drive all the way down to find a reasonably quite place to take a test. not t mention most ppl in the room smelled like an ashtray,.

Picked up my online order, for which I had been emailed a receipt, and was then offered a printed receipt in store.... Stop it. Stop the insanity. Save the paper for books, and toilet paper. Everything else can be digital.

I love this store and I have been there several times, but checkout is sometimes difficult. At my…read morefirst visit to the store, the clerk asked if I had a rewards membership. I told her I once had a premium account but I thought it had lapsed and I might need to renew. She asked which kind of membership I had and I told her I wasn't sure. She told me I had to know or she couldn't process it. She entered my phone number and rang up the order as a basic membership. I let it go and shopped there a few more times without being asked which type of membership I had. Last Friday, I was waiting to check out, and the woman ahead of me was asked for her phone number to enter for rewards. When I checked out, I wasn't asked so I asked the clerk if she didn't want to enter my phone number for rewards. She was generally kind of rude but did enter the numbee and didn't ask about a membership type. When I got out to my car, I logged into my account. It indicated that I had a basic membership but listed the differences between the basic and premium and allowed me to upgrade. I upgraded without incident. I think the staff should know how to access the membership type and should be able to upgrade for you if you are willing to pay the cost of a premium account. The staff on the floor seem nice and helpful but checking out could be a more pleasant experience.
