It's so nice to see my boy having so much fun, it helps with my "mom guilt" ;) I would recommend Avery for dog sitting or training. Our dog Olive started going to City Bark about a month ago and always has such an amazing time…read more Every time we pick her up she is smiling from ear to ear and is so tired and happy. When we pull into the parking lot in the mornings she perks up because she is so excited to go play with her friends. All of the staff members are so kind, knowledgeable and helpful but, we would like to particularly thank Leela (hope I spelt it right). When Olive was out sick for 2 weeks and ran out her promotion days she so gratuitously extended us for the days we were unable to attend. She calls promptly with any issues that might be going on so we can make sure everything is always okay with our baby girl. Overall we are so happy we found City Bark and not to mention the HOURS! My fiancée and I are both nurse so it is very helpful that City Bark opens before we need to be at work and closes after we get off! We love bringing Olive here and think the photos can attest for how much she loves it too

I've been taking my dog Moose to City Bark for over 3 years now, and it's definitely time I leave a…read morereview to show how grateful I am to all the staff for taking great care of him! He is not the easiest dog but they are so patient with him and love him so much. He's so happy to go in every time, which is especially impressive because he usually has separation anxiety when he's away from me. I know some of the other reviews are mixed, but I want to say every dog daycare has its issues, and I have had nothing but positive experiences. It's not the "nicest" looking place, but I've taken Moose to fancier daycares where he was just stressed out, and I did not like how the staff treated him. I love City Bark's staff because they go out of their way to get to know each and every dog, and I just couldn't be more impressed with how they've taken care of Moose and how much they love him. He's collectively spent months of his life there since I travel so much, and I always love to look on the webcam and see him getting love. I also love how communicative they are - they have a text line and are so responsive which I appreciate. I can't imagine taking Moose anyplace else!

She uses scratched out paper contracts, wants you to write everything contact wise 3x on paper, doesn't remember her own schedule and only takes cash orcheck. She first tried to bribe me with paying for my carpet cleaning if I removed the bad rating. Then in the same breath she threatened me with a lawsuit if I didn't. This is another demonstration of unprofessional behavior. I WILL NOT BE BULLIED by a service provider and capitulate to her threat by removing an honest review. She can hire a lawyer if she wants but when it comes to libel or slander, truth is the ultimate defense. I will keep her message on my message machine for the indefinite future and will be happy to provide it to her attorney, if she actually has one. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ORIGINAL REVIEW: Well, it breaks my heart to write this review, but I'd be remiss if I didn't. I travel a lot, especially a lot of overseas travel. I had used Lynn and Debbie for some time but after a series of rather shocking mishaps, I terminated our relationship. Here are a few of the issues: 1. One of the two was engaged to kitty sit for four days. I came home early only to find the litter box had not been emptied for at least three of the four days, so my cat decided to mess on the carpet because of her box being overfilled. 2. I have a dome litter box, and one of the two decided to leave the lid off while I was gone because it was "too hard to put on" (stuff and nonsense) so when my kitty did use the box, she saturated the surrounding carpet. $200 to have the carpet and pad cleaned afterwards. 3. When one of the two had an unfortunate encounter with the court system and was required to spend some room-and-board time with the local police, I was aghast to find out they have no backup system - if you're overseas, and something happens to them, YOUR PET WILL BE LEFT ALONE FOR THE REMAINDER OF YOUR TRIP. Needless to say, this is phenomenally distressing. I don't have local family here in the Denver area, so I depend on PROFESSIONALS I hire to do their job and make plans for when they can't. 4. They only take cash - no checks, no credit cards - for reasons one can only guess. It's very inconvenient to the customer, but they have their reasons for not wanting anything but cash. (I'm an accountant. We refer to cash-only businesses as paper-trail avoiders). I get that, but when you pay cash in advance, and they take the cash but don't visit the kitty as promised, well, there's a word for that. Not a good word, either. All in all, very distressing, very unprofessional. They may be great with dog walking if you're home, but if you depend on them when you travel, you do so at your own peril.
