I honestly can't describe the love that I have for this pole studio. It really is my second home. The instructors and students are so nice and supportive from the moment you walk in. GOOD VIBES all day and every day! I've taken classes with each instructor and each one has their own teaching style/technique. They're all very knowledgeable and flexible when it comes to helping you figure out what works best for your body. The pole studio offers several different kinds of classes ranging from Intro to Lvl 2. There are 7 poles (not including the instructors). Two of the poles are 40mm and the others are the standard 45mm. There are three tall poles and those are shared in the tricks/combos classes if need be. Alcohol spray and towels are provided to clean off the poles. If you're thinking about joining the pole community, this is a great place to start! You definitely won't regret it! read more

Visited this studio since I knew one of the instructors from a previous studio I've visited. Took two classes: climbs & inversions and tricks & spins with Sam. Studio was super welcoming! This studio is so fun! I have been wanting to try a pole class for awhile now but timing was never right. After moving to the area, I found this one really close by with a new members deal: 3 classes for $30! There are a good amount of different class types throughout the week, but when you are starting out, it's good to stick to intro to build the foundation. I didn't get to try any of the others, but I really started to feel more comfortable with what I was learning by class 3! I could feel that upper body working. I decided to try out some different teachers to see what their methods were and I really enjoyed each of the teachers, they all have different styles and their personalities/humor makes it that much better! Definitely come with some shorts, socks, and don't lotion for at least 24 hours. Classes are easy to book, and the sizes are small which is nice during covid. I don't think I ever really had trouble getting in. Just make sure that you are there on time or you won't get to take the class! read more

Best pole classes in the area! Tried a different studio that only had 30 minute classes and made me appreciate the length of the classes here a lot more! Brittany and Kim are super attentive and give alternatives if you're too scared or can't do a certain move. Definitely an amazing place to try pole at if you've never done it before, they have more classes for beginners than anywhere else I've seen. My teacher for the class was Amanda & I absolutely LOVED her as my teacher for my first class. She was so encouraging & helpful. Very positive attitude. I have always been interested in taking a pole class. I finally decided to once I found a place right down the street from my house. This was the best decision I could have made. The instructors are so kind and knowledgeable. I have never had very good upper body strength but after taking 3 classes I feel so much stronger! These classes are a whole body workout and they are so fun. I can honestly say that I've made new friends and I can't be more happier. Also, booking classes is so simple through the MINDBODY app. And they also offer really good deals for new students. I'm new to the studio, but have been pole dancing for over two years now. So far I've only tried classes taught by Lindsay and Amanda, and they've been very welcoming and were great at describing and breaking down moves constructively. The class sizes are usually pretty small (anywhere from 2 - 6, but then again I show up to the late 8:30 PM classes so I can't speak for the earlier classes) so I definitely felt like I get a lot of personalized instruction. I absolutely adore my old pole studio and miss all my former instructors and peers (and the only reason I left them was because I switched coasts), but I guiltily admit that I'm already progressing faster at Rockit due to the combination of teaching style and class size. Also, the class prices are very reasonable, and the class packs are among the best deals I've seen. One thing that I'm not a fan of is the frequency of classes, e.g. not a lot of level-based classes throughout the week and no weekend classes, but I completely understand that Rockit is a fairly new and small studio and that adding more classes may not be feasible. Another thing to note is that it's easy to feel like a fish out of water when attending more advanced level classes as a new student, due to the fact that many of the girls in those classes have trained together and bonded already. It can feel a little intimidating and cliquey, but this situation is not unique in the pole community to my experience, and is usually remedied by regular attendance and taking a lot of time to get to know everyone. I reiterate that the instructors have been extremely welcoming. Overall, I've been satisfied with my experience here. read more

My friend had been trying to get me to take a beginner pole class for years. I've either been too busy or made up some stupid excuse to avoid embarrassment. I often complained about being out of shape, uncoordinated (it's so bad), and not feeling comfortable trying something like this. I was lucky enough to purchase an opening special for half off a 3 day class package. So guys, I did it...I put on my short shorts and made my way to my first beginner pole class. I was greeted by Amanda and she introduced me to the other women in my class. I took a morning class and it was small, so I think that actually helped my nerves. Having a good instructor is important for any new thing that you're learning, and I'm happy that I was able to take my first class with her because she was really patient and made me feel comfortable. We were taught some pretty basic, but essential moves. At times I felt awkward, but not once did I feel judged. Actually, I take that back...I was definitely judging myself when I saw how hilarious I looked doing some weird body roll thing haha. Since this studio is new, I'm not sure if they are still messing around with the schedule or if they have a set schedule down yet. I have an odd schedule, so I appreciate the option to go in the morning on certain days. Either way, I enjoyed my time here and I'm ready to start doing all that crazy pole sh*t you see on YouTube, jk, I can dream though right? I'll come back and update this review once I've experienced other instructors teaching styles. I love LOVE coming to RockIt Pole. It is one of the best decisions I have done when it comes to my health. Since I started back in March I have lost 6 pounds =) Not only is it a great workout, it is a fun workout. I can be at the studio for 2-3 hours and it doesn't even feel like a workout. This is such a great studio! I came to the open house because I was curious and just had to sign up. They really have something for everyone. I'm a beginner and not in very good shape, so the beginner spins and mini-routine classes are my favorites. The instructors and the moves they teach make even me feel sexy! I like coming in for free play and practicing while watching more advanced dancers for inspiration. The music enhances the lessons without getting in the way of focusing on learning the moves. First of all, let me just say I really really wanted to love this place. I tried out another local business like this a couple years ago and loved it. Unfortunately, they have moved and I don't feel like wasting a drive for a 30 min class which many of my old workout partners say the same. So off to rockit and well.. it left me disappointed overall. Walking in the place was brightly lit. The instructor did not bother turning the lights down low during class. Instant mood kill. This is supposed to be a pole workout right? The music.. do not get me started on the music. I could not get in the mood at all.. I understand everybody has different taste but at least play variety something we can feel sexy to not like we're at a tattoo parlor or 10 years old pop music. The instructor kept fiddling with her phone to find music and was completely unorganized finally settling on some acoustic crap. Wtf. Am I in an elevator? Then the instructor keeps talking to I think her friends or maybe long members about her upcoming vacation in a week and useless crap non workout related. Boring. The absolute worst part of my experience is that she emphasized some pole people try to hard to be sexy and dancey. She made me feel like being sexy is trying too hard and shaking it was way too awkward. Double wtf. That's what I came here for to feel sexy and get in my zone. Maybe it was just her personal style but we did not vibe at all. My advice to her is to get organized, let your wild side out, and have confidence. I came here for confidence. If that does not work, you can become a step instructor maybe. What I do love about the place is the prices, it's 1 hour, and customer service is approachable. They are very nice and accepting. Totally not intimidating. If they change prices or length, I don't see a reason to attend. They could easily get more business if they got a variety of instructors that appeal to others and way better music, and purchased colored lights. Sadly I will not be returning. Before i start I would like to disclose that I have never taken a Pole class before and it took me awhile to build up the nerve to walk through that door but I can honestly say that i'm happy I did. I've been thinking about trying pole dancing for a few months now, I have read a ton of reviews from multiple studios on Facebook, Mind body and Yelp. Rockit Pole did not have one bad review and their class/package prices are a ridiculous bargain. So it was a no-brainer that I would choose this studio for my first time. My very first class was on 7/31 and the instructor I believe was Brittany. The first thing I noticed was that this studio is a bit on the small side however it was not a bad thing. I loved the intimate feel of the small class size, I felt like we all had a lot of one on one time with the instructor and that made me feel at ease. I also loved that there was someone there to greet me as I walked in (the receptionist or another instructor I'm guessing), it definitely made an intimidating experience a lot less intimidating. So back to my first class experience, the instructor was very welcoming, informative and made me feel very comfortable. The class I took was Pole Fitness and it was a great workout, so much that I was sore for the next two days. At one point at the beginning of class there was an awkward moment where one of the other students just got up and left out of no where, the instructor tried to engage the girl and asked her if everything was alright but she just walked out. I'm not quite sure what happened or if that was a normal thing for that student but I feel the instructor handled the situation very professionally and she apologized for the interruption and continued with the class.
