I have no profit conflict with you, why I spend 30 minutes make a 1 star comment if I experienced everything really good? I just want what happened bad don't happen again. If you decide to change, to improve, and make sure the same thing don't happen again, for sure I will respect you instead of arguing here. Just not joking on student in the future. For the reschedule and refund stuff, it doesn't matter that much. In the first knee down class, 80% of the students including me never attend any course before, you let everyone in, that contradict to what you said in the latest comment. And then you bet and joked on the dude who high sided his cruiser. For the discount for comment, im apologize if I remember wrong, it's 2+ years ago. But you did ask everyone aggressively on making comment. Im not a comment writing guy, only 7 comments on google and yelp in so many years. For the dispute, the coach let everyone attend the knee down class when we didn't take any of the course, so of course we thought it's not a hard limit but a suggestion. And the booking web does not block you to do so. Then, you emailed my friend says he cannot attend the course, but no reschedule or refund since it's in 2 weeks of course date. If the bank think everything is right on your side, the dispute won't be approve. Also, I'm not bragging, I clearly know there are so many riders including coach Can ride much better than me and there are still so many things about riding I can learn. I want to let people know what happened and I'm regret I didn't update this comment earlier to let people know what happened. ========== I finally remembered to update this "5 star comment". All the good comments I wrote and the 5 stars are because the coach asked to and I was so new to motorcycle at the time. Now here is the reason why I changed my mind. Short version: 1. In the knee down class, the coach said "I bet this guy will crash for 5 dollar". The. That dude really high sided. The coach didn't warn of teach him but instead joking around. At that time I thought crash like that is normal and won't cause injury, because the coach acts so chill and joking around. But now I know even slow high sides can cause my friend broke his collarbone. 2. His website doesn't block you booking anything or saying anything about strictly take courses in sequence. Then he refuse to let you go to the day 2 class because you didn't go to day 1, and refuse to reschedule or refund because it's "within 2 weeks of course". 3. When I wanted to reschedule, he replies: "You lost believes in what you've liked so much? I guess I won't see you in day 3 then." See the screenshot. Coach Can is a pro rider no doubt, he is highly skilled, super fast, but I'll leave it to you whether this course worth or not. As a conclusion, I don't recommend completely new rider or someone wants to learn a lot go to this camp/course. These classes motivate me to push myself on my motorcycle journey. I have taken all 3 cornering classes and they are beyond amazing. There is so much information that I am sure I'll be taking repeats again. But the best part is how it all started to connect during the body position and knee down class. I was not able to get my knee down in class but with the technique I go drilled on and my determination I was able to get my knee down the following day on my own. Update! I completed day 3 of the cornering class. The difference amazing! I really can't say enough about these classes. The ability of Coach to not only explain but to demonstrate the skills make these classes easy to understand for anyone! They not only cover cornering, they cover extremely useful safety skills that could not only save your life but could also save others as well. I have been fortunate to be able to book a track rookie day, body positioning day, group ride instruction day and repeating day 1 of the cornering class. All of the skills I have learned thus far have come in handy already. UBER EVERYTHING...if you want to know more then stop reading and go book the class! October 5, 2025 is cornering day 1, I'll see you there!!! Update 2: Body Positioning & Knee Down class Imagine yoga, but angrier, and on a motorcycle. Muscles I haven't used since middle school gym class suddenly woke up to scream at me. 9/9/2025 update: I have now taken five classes with Coach and can't recommend him and his team highly enough. If you are on the fence, get off and sign up now. If you think you will be the worst one in the class, you might be right, but the support you'll get from Coach, his team and your classmates will put you at ease, and if you fully engage and put your trust in them, you quickly won't recognize yourself as a rider. After completing Cornering School Days 1, 2 and 3, along with the Suspension Workshop, my son and were chatting with each other saying "can you imagine riding a motorcycle and NOT having taken these classes?" I know it makes me sound like a crazy person, but it feels literally criminally unsafe to imagine folks out there riding without the skills you'll learn from Coach. True no matter what kind of motorcycle you ride, but especially true if you ride any kind of high performance motorcycle. It's like being unplugged from the Matrix. Eye opening does not begin to describe the experience. I thought in taking these classes, I would learn how to be more confident through corners on the street and track, and while that's exactly what I have gotten, I wasn't prepared for how cool (and radical) the skills are that add up to that kind of confidence. Everything I had hoped I would get out of the classes, I did, and yet they have helped me realize just how tall the mountain is, how far below base camp I truly am, and yet have shown me the path to climb to my max potential. I mentioned I took five classes, but only listed four different classes above, and that's not a typo. The fifth class I took is a repeat of Cornering School Day 1. In fact I plan to repeat all three days of Cornering School, and likely _more than once_. I met classmates who have been through all three days multiple times. Why would anyone do that? In short: these classes are THAT packed with information and experiential learning. It's not just the reps on track, these classes are that effective. The physical and psychological environment are that effective. Feeling your knowledge, skill set, confidence and as a result your pace on the track increase is that effective. Coach and his team are insanely motivating and they truly and deeply care about what they are doing and about their students. The man wears his heart on his sleeve, and pours his entire heart and soul into what he is doing. So again, stop what you are doing and sign up for Cornering School Day 1 now. 01/26/2025: I seriously fell in love with this course. I did the Cornering School Day 1. It was my first time being on a track and I have been riding for only 5 months. This is hands-down the best bang for your buck course I've seen. I brought my personal bike (2005 Yamaha FJR1300) and didn't have to do anything to it to run it on the track (no tape or wiring). So, very convenient! It's a go kart track, so you're not going super fast. You can bring virtually any type of bike. The price is very affordable. The instruction is top notch. The staff are great. Beginners like myself can do this course and not feel overwhelmed. Advanced riders can be in the faster groups and have a blast. This course and school are seriously for all rider types and levels. So many students were repeats and had gone through multiple levels. The only thing I could see turning people off is Coach's banter, humor, and instruction style. He's very in your face, hard nosed, no BS, NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT. I'm a Marine so I fuckin love it. BUT ALSO.... You can seriously tell that this guy CARES and wants to keep you ALIVE and safe in whatever motorcycle venture you choose. I signed up already to repeat Day 1, and also booked Days 2 and 3 for later in the year. Just gotta figure out my funky work schedule and then I'll sign up for more (wheelie course, knee down and body position, suspension workshop, they have SO MUCH). Ok, think I'm cutting this review off. If you can't tell, I had the best time lol. UPDATE 02/23/2025: I took Day 1 again, followed by Day 2 the day after. So many things were reinforced. I moved so much faster and smoother, even riding a big, heavy bike. I can only blame the amazing instruction... Can't wait to do Day 3, then pretty regularly repeat the course all the way through. I finished 2nd place overall in the 250 novice championship as well, with some podiums and some first place finishes! If someone as slow, as physically broken down and as unexperienced as I can finish the course without eating shit all the way, then anyone can so dont feel intimidated. Their experience, expertise, attention to detail and price for each class (hefty discount given if repeating Cornering Course after you've done all 3 Cornering Class days) are unmatched. And if you are in doubt about taking any of his classes because of someone's 1 star review about how he 'uses the N word liberally', is disrespectful, creates cultish environment, etc.. I was in the same class sitting to the right side of this very individual. What this person said cannot be further from the truth. I am a very visible minority from across the Pacific pond with a pretty bad accent in my English. I did not hear Coach Can or his staff addressing anyone with the N word or disrespectfully at any point. I was never even yelled at even though I stuck out sorely as Coach Can's worst performing student! And boy was I yelled at way more at MSF. Spent the weekend doing the Knees Down Wheels Up Weekend Double Header after having done the Cornering School series and I have nothing but positive things to say. But I can't stress this enough: You should _really_ do Cornering School first. I can tell you for a fact that the process of going through Cornering School and meeting a bunch of people that showed up to the same classes this weekend made it that much more special. It's not a class as much as it is a family (Possibly cult, but a good kind, really), and seeing how people grow, change bikes, and support each other as you get better at the primary points of handling a motorcycle will make getting your knee down on your bike that much easier. Also, neither a power wheelie nor dragging limbs will be the defining factor in a life-or-death situation on the street. That said: Getting the chance to ride _6_ different bikes over the weekend (Two minis, the wheelie machine, two different race-spec supermotos, all on top of the Zero S I came in on) was an absolute blast. The cheers from your classmates when you get your first knee down, pop your first wheelie on the strip, or even when you send it a bit too hard in a comical fashion is absolutely worth it. The entire team is warm, friendly, with straight fire banter amongst each other and the class. Dean is an epic photographer who has absolutely added more pictures of me looking far better on my bikes than I actually am. Yes the pictures are free. Seriously though, if you've been giving your McDonald's cashier tips you can certainly give something back to someone dedicating their week (because goes through thousands of photos to filter out the best ones) to documenting your journey. If I can get my other bike fixed in time, definitely going to do Track Rookie at Thunderhill and experience what will likely be one of the most well run "big track" days that I will have in my two-wheeled educational career. read more

I had an awesome Wheelie course with coach Can yesterday! I went from nobody to pulling 3rd gear power wheelies for 5-7 seconds. One of the other coaches also pulled out a professional camera for photos and videos, and I loved the fact that they didn't ask any extra money for it. 04FEB2023 UPDATE: Since the last review, I completed the Cornering School series, dragged my knee multiple times at the Knee Down course, and even managed a (somewhat weak) wheelie with my Ninja 400 at the Wheelie Course. I'm retaking the Cornering School with a liter bike now, and I'm STILL learning so much every time. For example, turns out that the skills I learned on the Ninja 400 are a LOT harder to pull off on a liter bike due to the power, weight, throttle control, etc. Luckily you get 1/2 off the Cornering School classes once you complete the series the first time around :). They're also putting on a full-feature, private track day at Thunderhill in August this year!! Can't wait to see how my skills translate to the big track. Everything I've learned has also made me a more confident and safer commuter on the road--I'd consider the Cornering School to also be a fantastic overview of the most important skills that will keep you safe as a commuter or frequent road rider. At some point I'd also love to take the Road Skills course which examines public-road-oriented riding skills in detail. Anyone reading this, STOP READING AND SIGN UP! Superbike-Coach has once again helped me increase my riding skill on the track with honest feedback during the 1-on-3 track drill at Thunderhill West on 6/4/23. I knew where I was having issues/losing time on the track, as things just didn't feel "in the zone" on those corners and Coach Can of course saw WHY suggested fixes and it's now up to me to implement them. He also provides general feedback on riding style, how focused you are in general on your lines and whether you get distracted by other riders or events happening around you on the track. All things you learn about and are given tools to address in the Cornering School classes. I need to tighten up and be more rigorous in my application of the things I learned, but which I was not implementing correctly during the day. It's very much worth the price and experience to work with Coach Can, especially on more than one occasion. He remembers your progress from days and classes past. Knee down yes, but so much more! Attended Coach Can's Superbike Coach Knee Down class and was impressed by the level of knowledge and enthusiasm of Coach and his team. Some schools teaching knee down may have you doing circles around cones in a parking lot all day, but not here. This class is done on an actual track (Little 99 Speedway) and Coach is methodical while teaching students how to use proper cornering lines, throttle control, and whole-body positioning that leads up to being able to scrap pucks by the end of the day. Drills are done on smaller motorcycles, provided by SBC, which make it easier to learn the techniques and students don't have to worry about sliding out on their own bikes. Coach, I just wanted to thank you again and acknowledge the benefit of all the training and teaching you have provided me. On Saturday I was riding with a buddy that we have taken many rides together over the last couple years. We were out by Lake Berryessa on our way back home and he crashed - going wide in a corner. I don't attribute it to excessive speed, but poor lane position through an "S" type curve. He was wearing full gear and was able to ride home on a bit busted up bike. This is a no BS motorcycle track training from Coach Can. His unorthodox style of training is unique and very good. I booked all the 3 cornering training and this was my Cornering Day1 session. Glad that I couldn't book other training courses as this one hits the spot. Learned and unlearned a lot about motorcycle riding and the riding etiquettes. After every teaching session there was a track session where we could implement what we just learnt. I could see the improvement in my riding in each session and applied it on my way back home which was fun. Can and his wife have a great team. I definitely recommend Superbike-Coach as it's worth it. Attended the 1st cornering class today. This is real life no nonsense training. They are it here to just take $. The information we learned today could very well save lives! It is not a simple "training class. I've ridden for years and attended day 1. I had issues that needed correcting and it made sense and it made physics sense also. Have done cornering and wheelies class, great coach, pretty blunt, but has the heart to make sure you really learn, all about your safety and being a better rider every day! I've taken track 1-3 days. I just finishing the third day. Coach is very knowledgeable and skilled. His teaching style can be a little unorthodox but you certainly learn a lot. I learned a bunch of things but one stands out the most. That's stopping. My Kawasaki 1000SX has ABS and in the second class Coach said ABS isn't as good on stopping. Yes it prevents slide and other possible negative results especially if you really grab a handful of brake hard. Myself and a BMW did ER braking and you saw clear as day the added distance when ER braking. He taught ER brake technics both second and third class , ER braking on a curve, for me that was worth the cost of all three classes. Taught controlled "stoppie". I'm certainly not saying that's all I learned I definitely go home after each class with great knowledge and skills. As he said once he's not here to be friends he's here to teach you from becoming a static (filtering the exact words used). It took me to the third class as he said and I realized it some of his training is geared more towards track vs roads. He doesn't really care for the CMS or similar training classes. Personally I like both. Both taught me a lot and some concepts over lap and vary at times. But experiencing and be taught multiple ways only makes you a better rider. You always should take what works for your riding style and abilities. Coach brought a lot of education I wouldn't have got in the traditional parking lot classes. I've taken @10+ courses with three separate teaching "schools". From beginner to get endorsed to Advance 1 and 2 at Laguna Seca to cornering classes Willow Springs, Horse Thief .,,, This series of cornering classes is well worth the money and time. Coach does honestly care about his students and it shows. I waited to write a review until I completed all three cornering classes. If I wrote a review after the initial class it would sound different. The real question is the cost and time worth it and I can absolutely say yes. I rode four hours and 230 miles each way to attend each class. That should speak volumes. read more

Went back for Day 2 and I didn't know what to expect. (No, I did not read the description) I was both excited and anxious because it had been a few months since I went in for Day 1. Even if I didn't remember the turn numbers, I still remember the skills we learned because I use them every time I ride. I still hear him in my head when I have to stop fast "squeeeeeze your legs". Plus once you get back on the track you remember the lines. I felt like there was less talk and more time on the track this time, probably because we got past the basics. Short description of what we were doing then off to the track to practice. There were a few times that I just did not get what he was telling us to do, counter steering for example, did not make sense to me. He did not get frustrated and instead showed me what I needed to do. Same thing with Uber steering, he once again showed me what I needed to do and it makes such a difference. I haven't ridden my bike since but I will for sure be using all these new skills I'm learning. I'm way more confident when I ride but I also know that there is lots more to learn and I'm learning in a safe environment under his and his staff watchful eyes. read more
