Main drawback is the vast number of days the pool is unavailable to public due to private events, swim meets, near the holidays...etc. It is even more egregious that the management does not notify these closures except with a sign on their door. Aquatics center has a website, a facebook...etc. they need to utilize these social media to notify customers of their upcoming closures. This constitutes the primary reason for 1star as I often find myself dressing up, driving to the facility and not finding out its closed until I get to the front door. Should the aquatics center begin utilizing internet/social media to notify customers of closures, this review would likely increase to 3 stars. This being said, I definitely do not recommend any membership of any kind. One time swim is $5 so for the yearly membership to be worthwhile you would have to go nearly 100 out of 365 days a year (or 10 days a month). Considering the pool is closed on Sundays, and add the number of additional days pool is closed, you definitely risk getting scammed. Few more drawbacks: actual public hours as of 2019 are 6am-8am and 6pm-8pm weekdays, and 1-6pm Sat. Then there are always swimming teams practicing, swim lessons...etc. so actual number of lanes open during these times are about 6 lanes. Their "severe weather alert" closures are greatly over-reacted. Mere drizzles/light showers causes them to close. Weather ~10 miles away causes closures. Keep in mind this is an indoor pool.

They did not have the decency to inform the parents and give them the option of not attending the private swim lessons. They argued that they were not obligated to tell us until the results were positive, but the descent thing to do would be to let us know there was a risk and give us a choice. It turns out that at least two guards have COVID-19 and our whole family has been exposed because of their dishonesty. Also, don't expect to receive the full allotted lesson time because they routinely cut it short for popsicles and going down the slide.
