NO GLUTEN FREE! Despite what the online menus still show (which they were apologetic about and I fully understand). We went here expecting me to be able to get a breakfast sandwich which was not the case sadly after a ferry ride and driving down. We ended up having a great half day trip to Rockport regardless. Italian soda was good and my husband seemed to enjoy his coffee (very hit or miss outside of the house). Will absolutely come by again! read more

We weren't able to go in Daily Grind since we had our pup, but from what we saw from the walk up window (located on the side of the building), it's super cute! My husband ordered a coffee and I got one of their blueberry muffins. Their service was quick, the coffee was good, but the muffins were unfortunately store bought. With so many local restaurants around Rockport, it would be great if they could collab and get fresh baked pastries in their store. This coffee shop is the best in Rockport. The staff is always joyful and personable, making you feel at home. They have the traditional coffee drinks and fun seasonal menus that are always changing. If you're not sure what to get, the seasonal drinks are great! The homemade quiche is fantastic and pairs perfectly with a nice iced coffee with coffee cubes! What a great idea so your coffee doesn't get watered down. You can take this Togo, eat inside or their courtyard with wonderful murals to look/take pictures of. Apart from their delicious coffee (that is locally roasted) and yummy quiche, the small local vibes are my favorite. You can feel the JOY here! I believe Rockport Daily Grind is the best coffee shop in Rockport! Their coffee tastes great. But what really sets RDG apart is Michell and her wonderful staff. They are friendly, courteous people. And I think that it's their warmth and welcoming spirit that attracts so many wonderful people to RDG. Hopefully, Stephanie P will find a better fit when the out of town, server of overpriced coffee, opens one of their "chain franchises" in Rockport next year. I usually don't leave bad reviews because I feel is a reflection on one's character, but I cannot let this experience pass without a fair choice for others before going to this coffee shop. I went to daily grind and while there I forgot to tell the girls of my dietary restriction. After asking if I could change my drink to oat milk, I was surprised by the girls behavior when she stopped for a solid 10 seconds before she moved again and dumped out the coffee to make a new. I told the other girl her silence let me know it was "not" okay I asked for my dietary change. The girl said it was because they charge for extra cream. I told her to charge me for it, but she said there's no button to charge so I put some money in the tip jar and asked if that was OK. The girl responded with "yes and thank you." While still dealing with the other girls poor attitude in the back, I sincerely asked the front girl if the other had spit in my drink. She told me "if she didn't I will." Appalled by her comment, I told them I would reach out to the manager. The manager happened to be the girl with the poor attitude. She did not see anything wrong with the comment nor felt the need stick up for me or I'm refund me for my coffee and pastry. A fair warning to the public, If they don't like you, they just might spit in your coffee. read more

OMG I tried the blueberry muffin, and it was DELICIOUS CAUTION! Coffee is HOT! No COVID there for sure:-) Even though the gentleman was kind,I was a little bothered because he was not wearing a mask. There was only one person in there. Quaint, cute little spot! We stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. There was a cute little market going on outside with local merchants selling their items. The baristas were very sweet and quick! It got busy while we were in there and I don't think anyone had to wait longer than 3 minutes for their orders. The food and drinks were excellent. We had an iced vanilla latte (with cubes made from coffee) and a London Fog! I forgot to take pics of both but they were awesome. It's covid time friends only a Tuesday morning and no one is here vacationing in little Rockport. I leave the hotel to get a local coffee as there's no Starbucks around to find this place. The youngish server at the window is totally stoned at 10:00 and gets my order wrong. Wait both orders wrong. A large earl grey tea comes in a small takeaway cup. Um no! A large latte was clearly made as a cafe AI lit as there's no foam and the coffee tastes like it was in a drip pot besides it being delivered the second I order it. $8.00 for shite service and shore coffee during a pandemic. This is my 3rd visit here. Fell in love with this place over Starbucks because Rae made my coffee with ice cubes made of coffee. Today I met Kaylee. She made my drink with pecan coffee, added a dash of hazelnut syrup and topped it with a dollop of whipped cream. This place is perfect for Rockport residents! The location is in the heart of Downtown Rockport (it's only 6 blocks long). The ocean and its melodies of nature calls from all the seagulls are just in the backyard. The cafe has an adjoining gallery that is small but so inspiring for that just right coastal mood 365 days in any season. Come visit. Meet Rae, Kaylee and all the gallery staff. You can sit and sip, or take your coffee outside on the beautiful patio, maybe walk downtown or walk to the beach.
