Jared is the best! Don't go to anyone else!!! He's done my belly button, nose, tragus, and conch so far, and they all turned out perfect! He's very thorough and professional, and friendly too. There was a year gap between my last 2 piercings and when I went in for the last one we caught up like old friends and he remembered some things I told him from a year ago. That friendliness and attentiveness makes it really enjoyable and all around a perfect experience. If anyone is on the fence, I hope you read this and hop off the fence and go to him! Also I want to say I've had a couple issues with 2 of my piercings and healing times (didn't follow the directions perfectly) and he switched me from a labret to a ring no charge, and switched rings on the other very quickly. Everything is clean and sterile and if you follow the directions and your body doesn't do weird things you'll heal as fast as he says you'll heal. He also gives out an all natural salt water cleaning solution that has healed my piercings faster than when I got my earlobes done at Claire's and used the chemical solution. read more

I went in last week to get a second cartilage piercing and get a new earring for my first cartilage piercing. My friend got her forward helix pierced. We were greeted and sat down to be pierced as soon as we walked in the room. Jared was AMAZING! So friendly and informative, he kept me and my friend entertained with jokes and answered all of our random questions. He is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about his skill. We left with a lollipop and complimentary cleaning solution with instructions printed on the bottle. My piercing along with my friends is already healed (or at least doesn't hurt or isn't infected) and we are more than satisfied with the results. Steven killed it! He gave me my first tattoo and the design I had planned was a decent size and was pretty detailed. Since it was my first tattoo and since it is permanent, I was really nervous at first. I hadn't met him in person before my appointment and I didn't know much about tattoos or tattoo artists. I just really wanted the tattoo and decided to trust him and his abilities. I could not be happier with how it turned out! Steven was absolutely the right man for the job! He cranked out a complex design in a short time (quicker than I was told it would take by other artists/shops I looked into). He was entertaining in conversation during the process and was very knowledgeable about the process and how to take care of it after it is done, which is super helpful for me as a rookie in the tattoo culture. I just recently got a best friend tattoo done with my best friend. We got Tucker and man, I couldn't be happier. He was friendly and explained everything to us. Included us in every step of the drawing and we really felt like we mattered. I've told every artist that I've been looking to start a sleeve. All have shrugged it off, but Tucker jumped right in and offered to start the project with me! I'm stoked to see my body come alive with his drawings. I also received a tattoo from Daniel at the Realities Rally. This rally was put on to raise money for abused children, so they were tattooing for free, but free or not, Daniel took care into my tattoo to the point it's still one of my favorites. I got my daith pierced last weekend by Jared. He was really informative about different metals, earring sizes, and other questions I had. The piercing itself was really painful, but he did everything he could to make the experience as comfortable as possible. I really appreciated that he provided specific instructions and a bottle of solution for aftercare, and offered to help me change out the jewelry in the future. I would definitely go back here for future piercings! The price was also very reasonable compared to other piercers I've visited. As we were waiting while Jared was with another customer (though we didn't have to wait long), everyone in the shop was really friendly and the whole place had a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. I walked in with a rough idea of what I wanted, and after describing what I wanted, they paired me with Jess. She drew up an awesome design in just a few hours and happily made the few small changes I suggested to make sure it looked just right. We were able to start the tattoo right away, and I sat for several hours before having to stop due to pain, which she was totally fine with. I came back a few weeks later to get it finished up and it looks great. She called about a week after each session to follow up on my healing process, and plus they offer free touch ups! I should've read the reviews ahead of time. I got my ears pierced recently and would not recommend. First things first, they were very clipped with me. From the second I walked in, they were unwelcoming. She acted like she was put out by having to come give a piercing to a customer off the street. I tried to make conversation and she shut it down. To make it worse, she did NOT mention she was putting in curved barbells. They were low-quality too... the back fell off after two days and I had to get them replaced somewhere else. They said it's strange to put in curved earrings, especially without even mentioning it. Long-story short... I would not recommend. read more

My friends and I all went to get belly piercings from Jared. We were all incredibly nervous. When we walked in he was joking around and it really helped ease the nerves for all of us. He was very patient and kind even tho there was a large group of us. It was a great price and It healed very nice with no issues. I got an eyebrow piercing done with Jared and he is the best!!! My piercing healed super fast and I didn't face any complications. I was worried about getting it pierced because not everyone could perfect it and your body could reject the piercing if it's not done the right way. But Jared did a great job, you can tell he's a professional and it didn't hurt one bit. I am very sensitive to pain but this didn't hurt at all, it literally hurts more getting my eyebrows plucked and I think it's definitely because Jared is great. My friend and I spontaneously decided to go get piercings on Super Bowl Sunday. We drove from Laramie, Wyoming so we were for sure going to get this done! We initially went to a different shop but they closed really early and didn't have time for the both of us. Would highly recommend getting a piercing done here by Jared. I have had many friends and family get pierced by him including a 13 year old who was super excited to get her first ear piercing and now wants another! So I first went into Rocksteady for an eyebrow piercing. Upon walking in, the place has a relaxed, friendly feel, with an open room and a clean environment. Jared was the artist who poked my brow; it was quick, it was easy, and his steady hand spoke of his confidence. Been almost two weeks and its doing great! I was so impressed that I came in a couple days later and got an old tattoo beautifully updated by their artist Brett. He did an amazing job, and like Jared his hand was gentle and steady. The head piercer (Jared) is the only person I'll allow myself to get pierced by. The personality of everyone at rocksteady is amazing and he especially makes you feel comfortable with sitting down to get a new piercing. In total I have 5 piercings all from him with no issues having them heal; it's always been quick, smooth, and as painless as having a hole poked through you can be. Even with how scared I was to get a tongue piercing Jared did a perfect job and merely 6 days into healing it feels wonderful. Plus he's been very kind and open to helping when I messed something up. I just got an awesome sleeve, I was going to get it done immediately, but he told me it would be better to wait so he could work on the line work a little more. Was going to wait to review until it healed a little more but I don't think that's necessary! My friend and I came in for walk in piercings and were instantly greeted with a cool vibe. We then went to the piercing room where Jared made us feel comfortable and went over everything. He did an amazing job!! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOURE NERVOUS TO GET PIERCINGS. I got my nose pierced in Texas where I am from and the piercer was SOOO rude and made the experience uncomfortable and scary. Today I decided to get my belly button pierced and I was very nervous. My piercer, Meg, made things so comfortable and easy. She also was quick and super thorough when discussing aftercare. The piercing with the jewelry was only $30 and i'm obsessed. they also give you piercing aftercare cleaner so you don't have to go to the store and buy your own stuff. Best experience. I've had my nose pierced before from another shop in Fort Collins on Friday the 13th and it ended up getting infected. I decided I wanted to try again and went to rocksteady to see Jared. He was amazing! Made some jokes and calmed my nerves (I'm bad with needles) and he gave me all the information I did not receive from the previous shop.
