Tim sent a final mockup the week before and we made some subtle changes. The morning of Tim met with us to discuss size, placements and final details. Again I really appreciated Tim sharing some ides, thoughts and best practices to ensure we had the best possible end result. In the end, we were VERY happy with our tattoos (my wife's first and my third). This is the best work I have had done to date in a clean, safe, friendly environment. I finally felt like I HAD to leave a review after going to the dentist today. I was fully expecting to get yelled at for having my tongue pierced, but instead my dentist told me it was one of the best tongue piercings she's ever seen. She said it was pierced perfectly down the middle, and after making me do a few tongue dances lol, she said the placement was done so well that it's unlikely to grind against my bottom front teeth. Last weekend she came over to help me with my surgery (ruptured my acl in training) and decided that she wanted a matching tattoo with me before the surgery. Needless to say, covid has really changed the way tattoo parlors/shops operate and a lot of them are booked out extensively. After searching on Google I stumbled across Small Mountain Tattoo. I called the shop and Toni was quick to answer. I was grateful for her enthusiasm and friendliness on the phone as well as her eagerness and excitement to help us set up an appointment that was very last minute. We had some technical difficulties with the photo I emailed her for reference but Toni was very patient and helpful. At one point she had to hand up to check with her artists and see what was available, she called me back promptly and was just as pleasant as before. She set us up with Adam who has an impressive portfolio. He didn't seem upset at the last minute appointment added to his day and drew up a great design that my mom loved! The tattoos were small enough he got them done quickly. But his line work was incredible and he even added in a little bit of shading which was beautiful! Overall our time at the shop was tremendous, they have incredible artists, amazing front desk staff and the studio is beautiful and clean. I ended up getting a piercing once I was done with my tattoo, and the piercer was fast and informative! I also told her I was traveling from out of town, and she was very kind to ensure I has enough cleaning solution for my trip and when I left back home.
