After buying, my first casual question was just a simple question about how the package will come in and that also took a couple of rounds of contrary mails, which was weird. 2. Delivery was done later than the mentioned timeframe. The item only got shipped after asking about no change in status since a long time. 3. Worst part was that item didn't arrive in a fixed width. Yes, you heard it right, i ordered a 24*36 width print and the width of this thing was 23 & 7/8 at the top but around 24 & 1/2" towards the bottom of the chart. The strip on the chart looked so weird slanting out on the right side. I wouldn't frame and have to cut the bottom to 24 myself through a precision cutter, wth ... I can excuse the first 2 pointers here but 3rd one is simply poor. Come on! I mailed the owner explaining the issue alongwith pictures taken to prove it but no response from him. He was responsive before i bought the print though. I really wanted to buy print from some sort of artistic moms and pops shop instead of corporates like art.com but this is what I got in return. Pity!

Another one was a purple frame that was hideous with the painting, and a third time. It was a pending drawing that had to be kept out. You know the air could not be exposed was exposed and got yellowed while it was waiting to be matted and framed and they did a terrible job. They gave me a yellow mat. It looked awful. It's a yellowish yellow it was like an ivory mat. I've had three very bad experiences with this frame shop, and I never use it as a result. they are nice people though, and they're very helpful and they try to help but their ability with the framing and the choices are not good.

I went to Gallery 25 on 2/1/25 to have some vintage baseball cards framed. I met Chris, who is a…read morevery friendly guy and will talk your ears off. Chris told me that this would take 2 weeks to complete. If by 2 weeks, he meant 10 weeks, then it was 2 weeks. No matter how many times I called, nobody EVER picks up the phone, so I had to keep going in to his shop (I live 25 minutes away). I asked to have pictures of the unfinished product sent to me before the work was completed to make sure I liked it, and everything was the way I wanted it (spacing, borders, colors, etc.) After 8 weeks, I finally got an email of the pictures, and it was wrong so the layout had to be changed. Finally, after 10 weeks, after the changes, I picked up the frame. Then, I gave him much more expensive cards ($2,000) to frame and told him that this can't take 10 weeks. He assured me that this time it would only take two weeks. I told him that this frame had to be the same size as the last one since I would be displaying them together. I called after 2 weeks to see if it was done, and as usual, nobody picked up the phone, so I left a message. I said the same thing as before. Make sure you send me pictures before you seal up the frame. Of course, nobody called me back, I called 4 more times that week, left 4 more messages...not ONE call back. Then, suddenly, I get an email that the frame is done. I went in and picked it up, brought it home and noticed that not only was this frame bigger than the first one, but the borders/frames around the cards were MUCH bigger than the first ones, so the white borders of the cards could not be seen. It made the cards look much smaller. They do not look like real baseball cards; they look like imitations and copies that I've seen online. The spacing of the cards in relation to the engraved plaque was off as well. I emailed Chris again (since there is no point in calling), and he told me that he was NOT going to redo the piece and it looked just fine to him. He didn't even want to hear what the issues were. It could have been a small fix. I would have even been willing to keep the larger frame but at least change the borders around the cards to they look real. Maybe it looked fine to him, but he is in the framing business, not the baseball card business. It was not what I wanted or asked for. You can see the difference in the 2 pieces. One has a slight orange frame around the card for a nice hint of color, while you can still see the white borders, and the other where the white borders are completely covered up and there is a dominating large gray frame around the card. The two look nothing alike. I was going to sue him but it wasn't worth the filing fees, or my time for $230, which I never even got a receipt for since I paid cash. So, if you want to wait 4 times longer than it should normally take for your merchandise to be completed, have your calls ignored, have zero communication with who is doing the work, and have them make their own decisions as to how YOUR items come out.... then this is your place.

I brought a picture of artwork that I purchased from a recent trip to Guatemala that needed a frame and I did some research on-line for I knew that framing could cost a small fortune if you choose the wrong place. I saw a few good reviews for Rockville Camera and since I live in the neighborhood I decided to give it a shot. Right of the bat I was very surprised at the wide array of framing choosing and was more surprised at the pricing since I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg to get this artwork framed. I worked with (I believe Mark) and he broke down the pricing and was very friendly and knowledgable and I choose a great frame and got a great price. I was hoping to get the artwork framed in about a week or two since I was in no hurry but to my surprise I got a call two days later and I was more than happy with the quality of the work performed.
