It appeared that these were ignored, and I was prescribed a lower dose of thyroid med. After a few months on this regime I became fatigued and eventually could not digest meals (even vomiting) At a follow-up visit after about 3 months, the TSH reading was high and I was put back on my original dose of levothyroxine. It is now another 2 months and my body has still not resumed its prior ability to digest food. I realize my situation is unusual because of underlying chronic conditions, but these were ignored in determining my treatment.
