Small but substantial come to mind. Bought three small sandwiches, found some local jam and goods and will be back again. Pastrami was unreal!!

Sandwiches are great! Lots of other yummy stuff as well. Best deli in town. Large variety of cheeses, pickled items, and jams.

This unassuming lil' creamery is the dream of my cheese adoring heart! We parked and immediately…read morenoticed the store is literally next to a field of dairy cows. How often do you get to see the animals from which your food is made? Not often, and usually that's a bad sign. Not so at Rocking W, where I could see all the spotted cows happily munching grass with their fellow milk-makers. I have a cheese curd obsession, but Rocking W only offers standard cheddar curds, so I negligently purchased a single lonely bag... what a mistake! We nearly finished them on the drive home: so squeaky soft, salty, and moist they were! They have precut approximately 1/2 pound blocks of cheese, all around $3 or $4 each, which is just too cheap, really. Y'all need to charge more! We just kept piling them in our basket: Farmer's Veggie, Quesadilla, Rocky Mountain Sunset Cheddar, Portobello Leek Jack (!!), Tomato Basil Jack, Raspberry Jalapeno, and Smoked Gouda. There were easily 15 more besides. I bought a gallon of milk specifically with which to make yogurt (note: they sell cream top!). They also offer a milk card for a free gallon after so many purchased. What a deal! This milk is less costly than most at a grocery store, and it is such high quality. My resulting yogurt is fantastic. They also have farm fresh eggs, ice cream, even some cheese accouterments and snacks like jams and jelly, candy, crackers, etc. There is a bit of seating inside, and the young lady who helped us was friendly as could be. If you can't make it to Olathe, you can purchase their cheese online and have it shipped right to you.

This lovely shop carries a variety of items - we bought lavender plants and some flavored balsamic vinegars and oils but they have many more items. The plants are thriving and we've been enjoying the vinegars and oil. Recently, I tried drizzling strawberry basil vinegar over half my mozzarella Caprese salad and tangerine over the other half. My guests loved the flavors. Today we decided to add more flavors to our pantry. The proprietresses were extremely helpful. We tried many flavors and flavor combinations and were given great ideas on which foods went best with them. We also found a spice blend that is flavorful and versatile. We more than doubled our existing vinegars and oils. Some will be gifts but the rest will enhance dishes from salads to desserts. If you find yourself near Palisade, Colorado, we recommend visiting this business. It has wide range of products in an attractive setting and knowledgeable staff.

I was told that they would not give me a credit on the "thank you" loyalty card. If I had purchased a $36.00 single bottle, they would have. Struggling to understand the splitting of hairs on this. I don't mind the premium pricing for a premium product, but not getting credit for a equal/simular purchase seemed odd. Left a sour taste for me.

You'll never drive by Grand Junction again without picking up some goodies here…read more This is one of those uniquely 5 stars places, you want to stop by every time your in the area. I just spent a few minutes in the store, out of curiosity, and ended up staying much longer because this is a place I'll be stopping by often. Why in the world would you spend 25 minutes in a vinegar shop? Because I just discovered that my favorite salad and bread dipping balsamic vinegar can be so much more than I've ever imagined. I've been using "balsamic" vinegar for a very long time. When I run out I go to the market, stop by the vinegar display, pick a Balsamic vinegar, and voila' check it off my shopping list. The only difference I've noticed is the labeling. Those days are officially past. Once in a while, I find a product that is amazingly good, and inevitably it's in a shop that's a bit inconvenient to get to. For example, there is one chocolate shop in New York City, that is the only outlet in the US for chocolate confections that are just sublimely superior to any other chocolate I've tasted anywhere in the world. Today, if I don't come home with a couple of boxes, you'll know I did not really make it to Manhatten. Bella Balsamic is right on the edge of becoming one of those special places The next time you're cruising past the Grand Junction signs on I70, take a long enough break to stop by this shop, pick out the vinegar you won't find anywhere else, Then go to the closed restaurant where you can get"naked' no dressing salad, use your new favorite dressing on it and savor the most flavorful low calorie meal you will remember.
