I asked if they would match the price or allow a return. The employee called the owner, and after that call her entire demeanor changed. She did not say, "I'm sorry," or explain the decision. She just pushed the box back across the counter, stared at me, and pointed to a no-refund sign. I understand some items may be final sale, especially in a vape shop. But applying that same policy to a $400-$500 sealed device, with no flexibility, no price match, no store credit, and no basic customer service, is disappointing.
