Several members of our group went into Rocky Mountain in St. George at different times, and every single one of us had a similar experience -- the front desk staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. When we asked about parts, we were simply told they didn't carry them. While we didn't expect every part to be in stock, we knew many were listed on their own website. There was no offer to order them, no effort to help -- just a dismissive attitude. It left us wondering if they just don't like helping people from out of state. After this, we went to a different powersports shop in St. George and had the exact opposite experience -- friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way to assist us. LOVE shopping at Ricky Mountain online. We were excited to hear they purchased a couple of shops in Utah. It was time for my husband to get a new dirt bike. Local prices in Arizona have set up and shipping fees and they add up. Not only that, our local dealerships do not have inventory of what he wanted as they sold as fast as they came in and many places weren't going to see any more this year. Picked up a KTM 300, auto clutch, air filter, rear disc guard, and Tusk hand guards. Even after the trip cost we still saved $1700. Jason was awesome. Was quoted $25 to swap a dirt bike tire. When I went to pick it up, they wanted to charge me $56. When I asked why, they said because of a new tube. The guy said for a $10 tube... which actually ended up being $15. They couldn't come up with a coherent answer when I asked why they didn't call me before just putting it on and charging me for it. He then changed the price of the tire install because they tried charging $35 for the install. How am I to believe they didn't pinch the tube trying to install the tire, then charging me because it "needed to be replaced". First and last time going here. I've heard horror stories, but against my better judgement, tried anyways. I'd stay away. read more

Jason store manager keep trying but we finally had pick another model. Jason has the next lower model stock and due to issues got a good deal. have always loved Rocky Mountain when ordering parts online, and hadn't had them service a vehicle in the past. I just brought my Yamaha quad in for service (carb rejetting) at the St. George, Utah Store (Washington County) and I dropped it off (I wasn't very impressed by the attitude of the front counter personnel, and let it go as it was almots Christmas. 3 weeks later I called and they said that it need a new throttle assembly and safety control switch so I said okay, and they said that they would order those parts. 2 weeks later I called and they said that it would be ready next week I said okay... then I called the next week, and they said that the parts were in and it would be ready the next week. The next week I called and they said call back at the end of the week. I called back on Thursday and they said that it needed a battery as it wouldn't start, so...I said okay. they said give them another day. The next day (Friday) I called back and they said that it was ready. I said i'll pick it up tomorrow a.m. I went in the next morning and they said that service was closed and they would get it for me. I saw him push it out and into another door and then jump start it. He drove it out and it stalled when he got to my truck, and he said that it was too cold out and it hasn't warmed up, and ..... he'd help me load it. I asked if it ran okay and he said..."oh, yeah..it's just cold!". I got it home and thought that I'd better start it anyways as something didn't seem right. I turned it on and hit the starter button and nothing happened at all. I checked the battery with a tester and it was dead. It was a brand new battery, so.... they had installed it and I guess never tested it, charged it, or ...started it(?). I called the shop back and the front counter guy said that it wasn't his problem. I explained what happened and he said don't give your guff as I'm not the service guy and he isn't in. He said I'll have Matt the service guy call you on Monday. I hooked it up to the charger and left it on Sunday and Monday. This is Monday night and no one from service has yet to call me. It will now start and doesn't run smoothly, but it is very cold out, so I'll start and test it when I have more time. I'm working overtime right now, and will check it out during the week when I have time, but..... I'm curious to see if someone ever does call me, juries still out on that one.... read more

My husband has a Triumph Bonneville which is not a common bike for this area. We were having a difficult time finding a business who would not only mount a front tire for us, but also mount a tire from a different supplier since we just moved to the area before the bike could be worked on. Jason was quick to respond to our email inquiry, and customer service on the phone and in person was very professional. We were told on the phone that tire mountings were first come first serve and that the turn around could be up to a couple of weeks. Desperate to be able to ride again, we took what we could get and we're very pleasantly surprised to have the tire mounted and bike returned in only a few hours! read more

Ordering parts and getting them shipped is worst than pulling teeth with needle nose pliers and no sedative. Typical business answers. Not our fault, lost in shipping, meanwhile I'm waiting on my parts so my kids and I can ride and enjoy the summer. DO NOT TRUST THEM TO WORK ON YOUR BIKE. They did my fork seals and I installed the wheel to spec and not even 6 hours of riding later my forks are leaking worse than when I took them in. And when I went to try and talk to them about it they did not want to accept any responsibility at all, again do not ever trust them with your bike they seem to be incompetent. read more
