Went out to the truck were the new tail gate was in the wooden crate that it was shipped in. The owner asked if this after market was the right one. I explained that the disclaimer states that it fit my year of truck and that i didn't have time to take it out of the truck to check it. Long story. To sum it up. They owner painted the tailgate, threw away the crate and then realized that its not the right tailgate. Wouldn't work with me on the price at all. Stuck with a tailgate that won't work along with a 730.00 bill. You would think with over 30 years of being in the business they would of checked this first. Never again!!!

He's booked 5-6 week out now (5/8/2024), he did say winters, even late winter is slow, plan accordingly. (I think he also does auto body work as a side hobby, as there's always old vehicles in restoration status in one of the 2 garage bays.)
