After an unfortunate accident, I called C & E Auto. From the moment I called, I knew (yet again!) that I had made the right choice. I spoke with Anthony who was both knowledgeable and attentive. The shop immediately took my car in for repairs. My little Scion was treated with the same respect as any other. Terrible customer experience. We had auto body repaired. They had the cat for 2 weeks, called and said the insurance company paid us $1238.71 and our deductible is $1000., we need you to bring $2228.71. When I paid them, I mentioned they didn't give me a reason to come back charging me the total appraised price. They jumped all over me shouting , saying they do it the "right" way. F bombs were flying. I responded they just gave a reason to tell others not to come here. It really sent them off and told me get the F out. I did. I won't be back. They use the estimate of the insurance company as their price. An estimate usually covers enough to complete the job and then it's up to the owner to find the best deal. No deal here. You pay to the last penny. Plus, you can't get them to give a price prior. They take car, do work, call insurance company to see how much they gave you and add your deductible. No incentive for me to return. Two weeks without a car is way too long. They are just not good at providing s good customer experience. read more

Customer Service here was excellent! They set up a rental car for me with Enterprise and I was able to leave the rental there when I picked up my car. Picked up my car after the body work and it looked like new again! Very easy to deal with and they contacted me twice while my car was being repaired to give me updates. All the work was done in a timely manner as well as very fair pricing. The owner is extremely nice and even offered to have someone drive me home instead of paying for an Uber. These guys are not only quick, they know what their doing and interface with all major insurance companies to get your car done quickly the right way. They also work with rental car agencies to help you get a rental and you can even drop it off with them to bring back for you. I have a 2006 750LI BMW, that was rear ended , I had approximately $7000.00 worth of damage. A Mercedes rep and friend recommended C&E to do the work. I have had the misfortune of several incidents over the last few years where my car was damaged. I have had the great fortune of getting to know Gus and Tony at C&E in the process. I really don't know what I would have done without these guys. The half dozen or so times I have been to his shop, Tony has gone out of his way to help me out, always going the extra mile, and always accommodating my schedule and needs. This means a ride to and from my house, helping me work with Geico to get everything just right, and even turning the work around extremely fast so that my inconvenience was minimal. Pleased with the auto repair through insurance BUT I did schedule an oil change while my car was in and paid for it upon picking my vehicle up. However, I got home and checked the oil and it wasn't changed. Subsequently I was told the refund could not be made to my card so instead a check is being mailed to me to refund the amount my card was charged for. While I am unsatisfied with this visit for obvious reasons and I feel it is strange the credit card refund can't be made... I am ultimately at peace with the resolution and the front office was helpful once they knew of the issue. Update - evening 1/6: Owner personally called to check on work and when he learned of the oil change billing issue promptly worked to resolve it and reiterated apologies. I appreciated the follow-up and end result. read more

I had recently been involved in a hit and run. I had slight damage to my car that needed to be fixed. Thank goodness my insurance company suggested c and e auto of norfolk. Sean was amazing and in the past I have dealt with some very unsavory auto body's and he made the entire experience amazing. Have to say, I never like dealing with body shops, mechanic shops or insurance stuff. Finally found a place that is honest, does a great job and has a fantastic staff. Didn't need much done, but sure was a breeze and had it done in a couple of days. Broken mirror and a couple of minor things. Not only did they do a great job, the boss saw that my antenna was broken, grabbed one off a gm that was not going to make it and put it on mine !! Not looking forward to another accident, but at least I found a place that will handle everything plus !! read more

I called them cold on a Monday and asked if they'd look at the damage on my vehicle ( Honda CR-V). I took it right down and had an estimate in 15 minutes. They were able to take the car right in and I had it back in two days. The body repair was perfect, the car had been thoroughly washed, the price was very competitive and the service was courteous and friendly. Unbelievable service, I have had one of the worst years driving, four accidents all totals. I have used C and E for body repair before and they earned my repeat business. Now they really took care of me on all four accidents even though one of the insurance companies did not pay them the full storage fees and they did not even ask me for the difference. Then even though they were not getting their full reimbursement from my loss they took care of my requests of unloading my personal effects from the vehicle. I was in and out in less than a half hour and that was all I needed to do. Just pick up my stuff and they took it from there. If you do not know how to deal with insurance companies I would highly suggest giving Nick a call at C and E. A truly good company that has its customers best interest first. read more

I would NEVER use C&E again. They placed a supplement claim with my insurance company a month after my car was picked up. Now I'm being surcharged. Toni gave me 3 different excuses why it was placed one month later. I cannot help but feel something is fishy. This was not a major accident and ALL the damage should have been reported on the 1st supplement. read more

I brought my 2013 Subaru Outback to C&E Auto Collision in Norfolk. The back of my car had been damaged and the bumper and hatchback needed to be replaced. I was told that the repair would take two weeks because a part was on back order, however, they were able to finish the job in just over a week.
