I would leave zero stars if possible. Having dined in Noosa for years, I have never experienced such poor service. We visited for drinks and sides as we weren't very hungry, only to be charged for two additional full meals. When we questioned this, we were told, 'You can't just turn up to a restaurant and order sides.' While I understand if there is a minimum spend or specific process, charging for meals we never received without any prior explanation is unacceptable. There was no attempt to clear up the 'misunderstanding' and no apology offered. The only resolution provided was a refund for one side dish. I will not be returning to Rococo and will certainly not be recommending it to anyone visiting Noosa. read more

While in Noosa saw the offering of greek food on the menu and liked the look of the restaurant so decided to stop for lunch. The restaurant was 1/5 full and we chose a seat overlooking the street. It was a warm day and the waitress offered to get water, but this took almost 20 minutes to arrive. We asked for the water jug to be left and were told that they were not allowed to do this but would top up water on request. We asked a few questions about the menu, and the answers were vague. I ordered the Chicken Slouvaki with broccolini side and my partner ordered the Caprese salad with fries on the side The food arrived and while looking nice on the plate, the portion sizes were very small for the price. And in fact the sides were larger than the mains - and cheaper. No salt or pepper on the table. The Aioli that came with the fries was not balanced and more a mayonnaise than an Aioli. We asked for tomato sauce and a small dish was bought out. Barely enough for the fries The chicken slouvaki was ok but barely enough to fill the flat bread. The sauce was more a sour cream than a nice Greek tzatziki. The menu stated it came with fries which it did, however did not add to the Greek feel of the dish Overall a pricey lunch in a nice restaurant but ourselves and the other patrons did not get the service one would expect with perhaps 8 tables full and three servers on staff Think we would look for something different next time. read more

Rococo....NOOSA We usually like to eat on the late side but after finding no place open at 8:30 one night we slipped into Rococo at 7:00PM. We found the place 3/4 full and with an enthusiastic staff ready to get us a drink, feed us and send us off by 7:30. No less than five different people tried to take our order before we even had a drink. By the last time we simply ordered. But that said, the restaurant was cute, the menu extensive, the food good but the time to savor and enjoy limited, until it was time to pay the bill. Then nobody could be found. Please don't get me wrong. We liked the place, the food was fine, if ever In Noosa again we'd go back. Take this as a curmudgeonly criticism from someone newly in Australia, unaccustomed to the way life is in an Australian beach town out of season. Server was rude. From waiting to be seated and then the older server ruder. Asked for menu description but she said read the line. Asked where the wines were from which country she said it's listed. Actually only the regions are listed not the country and she didn't know. Save your money and go elsewhere for better service read more

Really decent pastas and salads and cocktails in peak Hastings Street location. We loved our meal and service and would return. read more

We were here last night for dinner (Sunday evening). Let me say I really really wanted to love this place as we frequent Noosa on the weekends and loved the atmosphere. Our fav Noosa Gypsy King style band was even playing. The bad news... Unfortunately for us we were pretty much completely forgotten about once our food was served. The food came out in a standard amount of time, but The restaurant was fairly empty and it was only 6:00pm when we received our food. It seemed as though the manager had taken his break and when the cats away, I guess all of the servers just stopped coming to check on us? I waited more than a half hour after finishing our mains for a server to return before having to wave one down.... Even after waiving someone down we still waited another 20 minutes for them to come over. I was looking forward to another glass of wine after dinner but we decided to go elsewhere as I was not prepared to wait another hour for a glass of wine. This restaurant had very good potential!! Shame that the service isn't as good as the food. I'm usually happy with anything but when it comes to fine dining ( like we spent 180 for food and a couple of glasses of wine) you would expect more than just ok Walked by one night and the host didn't even care. She walked away & eventually another host gave us the worst table even though they were empty Anyway, we finally settled in a better table than the other Food was actually good but very poor service They forgot our drinks too & we had to wait for salt & pepper :( read more

The food came after a long wait. I asked for bread to go with the meal. It was brought, after a long wait. But the real shcok came with the bill. I was charged $14.00 for five slices of bread. Really? The service can only be described as indifferent. read more

I've been to Noosa a number of times but this a is my first time at Rococo. We had to wait around 5 minutes for someone to see to us but after that the service was very good. If there was any complaints with the meals is that my confit duck was a touch dry. The risotto, bruschetta and carbonara dishes were all fantastic. Too full for the yummy looking desserts! read more

Extremely disappointed of the meal size for the meatballs. I downloaded this app just to vent. I ordered the lamb meatballs as a main meal. When it came out I received 5 meatballs in a bowl smaller then a tea cup. I thought I received a entree, I didn't send it back because I thought I'd be nice to staff and save them the effort of cooking more. I thought I'd just pay the price for an entree. Turns out that the meal size and price of the meatballs are the same.. I spent $20 on 5 meatballs which took less then 2 minutes to eat. $4 per ball..... My girlfriend also ordered the potato gnocci and said it was very average and not worth $27.. Do yourself and your wallet a favour, don't come here. read more

Food was ok, however rude gentlemen in cargo shorts at door with no customer service experience, telling his staff to "put them on table 32" as we didn't have a reservation. This place is trying to hard to be an upmarket establishment however giving the children crayons to draw on the paper placements. Do not go here expecting too much as you'll be disappointed. read more
