I took at least 15 items for consignment - might have been closer to 20, but I can't remember and they don't give you a receipt for the items you consign. (BIG red flag #1. The man at the desk said they don't give itemized receipts and they've been doing this for xx years, etc.) Anyway, he happily accepted my items and said they were just what the store needed. These were contemporary brands, some new and all in great condition - Free People, Cole Haan, Faherty, etc. I forgot about my consignment due to being busy and because there was NO communication from the store regarding my items. Finally went in to retrieve my check - $25 and some change. NEVER AGAIN. A good friend had a similar experience and if I had known I would never have consigned with them. I'm not sure why this shop continues to run. The store is nice merch is great.I have shopped here three or four times, I always find something to purchase. So not sure If it's the the owners or the staff but they are so rude to some and then they are very nice to some and I find they are rude as hell to the rest of us. Not sure if it's just me or they think I'm common trailer trash do you not like my beautiful tattoos ?? Or perhaps I don't look like your rich clients. Every time I shop you follow me around like I'm going to shoplift from you. The fact is I drive a brand new Cadillac and I'm very rich and I'd buy your high end things but the way you treat some of us, I'd rather give my money to someone else . Customer service not your style to some of us I guess. Too bad for you personally your attitude sucks, and I'd rather shop lower end shops and be treated like a I matter no matter the size of my checkbook. I like this place at the entrance to the mall. It's not every day that you find a resale/consignment shop that has more a more "boutique" than "thrift" feel--- and that's a good thing! You'll find name and designer brands, lot of special occasion clothing in excellent to very good condition. It's nice to see a good selection in all sizes, instead of the best stuff in "teeny tiny and petite" only!! The accessories are really outstanding especially purses and shoes. No HUGE bargains here.... unless you're that lucky size 4 that plucks something off the clearance rack! Staff courteous and aware, but not overbearing all make for a good experience. read more

I visited Rococo while vacationing in Gulf Breeze. It's a tidy, organized store with a warm, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Labels run from the neighborhood of Nanette Lepore on down to some store brands. All in very good condition and very well organized. Don't saunter in looking for Chanel or St. John and you won't be disappointed. read more

DO NOT SHOP OR CONSIGN HERE. She WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!! I'd give it zero stars if I could. I read terrible reviews but decided to give them a chance. I regret it. Big time. No integrity and a very very very scary encounter where my safety was of concern. I brought in 3 jeans mid Feb to consign. I did not receive email to finish consigned profile as father stated. So I called and she said she was behind and would send it next week. But I didn't get it again so I called again. Same thing. And then COVID hit, and when I called she said she was not sure what policy they were going to put in place. I said no problem, should I call you or are you going to call consigners? She said she'd call. She didn't. After l called 4 times and I got the run around I decided to stop in to collect jeans/check. She denied our phone conversations (conveniently) and refused to give me my jeans or a check. I was recording her the whole time due to her hostility and concerns for my safety. I HAVE HERE ON TAPE TRYING TO HIT ME AND MY PHONE OUT OF MY HAND. She called police after I said I was recording. Due to it being a business, i was issued a no trespassing bc she asked me to leave a place of business but encouraged to take it up in small claims court. Let me tell you I cried. I mean really really really cried. Not for the no trespassing but bc of the pure lack of integrity of this business, not only not but also refusing to do what is right by another person. Why was I ousted when she was in the wrong on so many levels, particularly that of lacking integrity. Why do nice people finish last? Makes my heart heart honestly. Yeah, so bottom line, believe all the other reviewers and me. DO NOT SHOP OR CONSIGN HERE. SHE WILL RIP YOU OFF. This consignment store is not "big city upscale" as it claims to be. It's definitely more of a TJMaxx vibe with a few department store items thrown in. They were even selling handbags with stains inside of them, which is not exactly 'upscale' of them. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this shop if you're actually in the market for upscale consignment items. read more

Great local store. We have purchased several handbags from them. You have to check back often to see if a consignor dropped off what you are looking for. They also have some great smelling candles. I love the espresso scent. Perfect for the kitchen. read more

I had an AWFUL experience selling my clothes to this establishment. The employees were uncooperative and unfriendly - while I am supplying them with new merchandise! I dropped off a dress in perfect condition (dry cleaning tags still attached) when I went to pick it up, it had a coffee stain on it. She refused to pay for dry cleaning or even acknowledge that it had happened. She also told me that coffee was not allowed in the store. I looked over she had a venti coffee on her desk. To top it all off, my mint condition Gucci purse (receipt and papers included) which we agreed on a selling price for $400, she sold for $300 without even so much as a courtesy phone call. After your 60 day consignment period, you have to go pick up your items (no reminder or notification). I called ahead to tell her that I had to bring my 18 month old with me and asked her, if they weren't busy, to pull some of my items. She was rude and said that if there weren't any customers in the store. Finding and pulling my clothes took me over an hour only to find out that a pair of my Seven for All Mankind jeans were conveniently stolen. When I asked her about them, she told me that it was not her responsibility. She told me that if I looked at the contract, it stated that the store is not responsible for stolen items, but she would write me a $20 check - which she did, begrudgingly. The store also claims to donate clothes to a charity in Haiti if they are not picked up after the 60 day consignment period. I found a pair of jeans that resembled the ones I was looking for and asked her about them. She told me that the pair I was looking at had been donated long before mine had. So, I asked her why they were not already donated to the charity. She snapped at me and told me that she had been busy. read more

Any one who has ever worked retail would not fully agree to the comments Julie Z. made about Rococo. She obviously did not read everything in the contract, otherwise she would have known it was not the store's responsibility to pull items after 60 days. I would not want to do that as a worker either if I worked there, which I don't. That would be ridiculous to expect the store personnel to do this for every single cosigner client during busy store hours! I agree with the owner on this one. It is not the store's responsibility to pull items for the cosigner. First of all, her job is to sell your items for you, because you can not take the time to do this during the weekend for garrage sales, or set up your own shop to sell your stuff. If you ever have worked in consignment, which I did one summer, you would not be so unsympathetic to the workers there. It is a lot of hard work working in retail and the service industry! She did not even have to pay you the $20.00 but as a courtesy to you, she did so. At least you got something! When you consign your items, yes, you want to make a decent profit, however, you are trying to get rid of clutter and too much stuff out of your home. That is why there is a need for consigning service! You take a chance that some things may get lost or damaged unintentionally. There is a risk in a lot of things we do in life. That's just how life is. So lady, cut the retail workers, cosigners, and the service personnel some slack! They don't make a lot of money as it is working a lot of hours while everyone else gets to play and shop! Now if the worker was rude, then yes, she or he should be aware and make necessary changes to better serve you. But, I really don't see too much rudeness coming from them here. I have shopped there before, and I found it to be just fine. Sorry your particular visit was not so good. read more
