Stopped in to get a basic facial and eyebrow shaping by Michelle. The location was simple enough to find with plenty of parking. The interior is nicely decorated and all the staff encountered was very friendly and patient, even though I was a little late to my appointment. A private room with chill music, fuzzy blankets, and a water bottle afterwards was a nice touch. Michelle talked me through everything she was doing as we were going through the appointment and helped put me at ease for my first time getting my eyebrows waxed. I have quite sparse eyebrows and was a bit concerned they'd end up being too thin, but Michelle expertly shaped my tiny brows and they look perfect. The facial was a standard European style with cleansing, steaming, extraction, mask, and moisture with customization based on skin type (oily, dry, etc). I booked a Brazilian with Blanca and decided last minute to do my under arms. The under arms was painless and the end result was amazing. The Brazilian on the other hand was painful but only on certain spots. I was what you call a Virgen at this so I was nervous and scared and sweating most of the time. However, I would have never gotten through it without the help of Blanca. She took her time, did small sections at a time and gave me breaks. She was very professional and easy to talk to. This was my first time getting sugar hair removal and I must say I'm never going back to waxing again! Blanca took great care of me as I'm 9 months pregnant and she made sure to adjust the table and give me all the pillows I needed to make sure I was comfortable. I read about sugaring and how it hurt way less than waxing (which I've only tried at home and stopped half way lol) well it completely did!!!! ALMOST painless if I had to give it a rating out of 10 I would be a 2/10 and in some places 5/10 but very very brief sting pain. Blanca is amazing she really takes her time on everything never misses a hair. I've come in for the brazilian in the buff and it was a very pleasant experience. With regular wax I usually swell for a few days and am very red. The sugar is much easier on the skin and much less painful. I was so nervous for my appointment, being my first time sugaring ever and to top it off i was sugaring my face... yikes! I was quickly put at ease with Blanca, she is amazing!! I had already done some research on the whole sugaring thing but she knows her craft and she does it well. I have an issue with facial hair and i feel like mine grows like crazy(might just be my hormones lol) but i have always had this issue, i have tried waxing, threading, laser, tweezing and painful epilating... Rococo spa I started out by scheduling my Brazilian appointment online (very easy) and then bought the yelp deal which is by 20$ certificate for 10$. I had my appointment today and all i can say is that my money and time was well more than worth it! The salon/spa is very neat, clean and chic. I had my appointment with michelle which was great. This was my very first experience with sugaring. I had the classic bikini done by Janine. Let me just say... I was SO nervous and I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know I had to strip down bare from the hips down. I felt so self conscious and scared (haha I'm a woose). Janine was so sweet and friendly. She explained everything to me from the start. Talked to me throughout the process and it really helped me relax! It's not easy to strip down and spread eagle to a stranger! I have never had a wax or sugaring done so I don't know about the pain difference but this was bearable. I will keep doing it and I will be coming back to them again and again. I really really wanted to love this place. The girls that work here are super sweet and the salon is very beautifully decorated. However, the service that I got for a Brazilian wax has not been that great each time I've been there. The first two times I was there, Michelle did my wax and she would leave some hairs. It is to my understanding that she no longer works there although I thought she was really nice. The next 3 times I went were all of great service. She took her time with me and made sure to be gentle... my only issue was that I would get ingrown hairs time and time again. I exfoliated before and after and continued to exfoliate and yet they would still come back. The hair that grew back seemed to be all in different directions which made me think that the waxing method wasn't right? Although Michelle's waxing was pretty painful and not perfect, I never got ingrown hairs with her like I did with this new girl. Prior to waxing, I have always shaved and NEVER have I ever got an ingrown hair. Having a few ingrown hairs may not be an issue for some women, and if that's the case, then I recommend this place. But being someone who has never had them, I don't think it's worth the pain or the $55. read more

I have been coming to this location for over a year now. I was first introduced to sugaring in India and absolutely loved the results. I raved about the technique to everyone since I had tried waxing (once) before and couldn't try it again. Waxing left me red and bumpy for several days as my hairs are coarse and deep, the whole experience was very painful. Sugaring is gentle and gets right to the roots when done properly. It is also less painful as you are pulling in the same direction of hair growth. When I came to Rococo, I was a hairy mess, and I knew my technician (Blanca) was gonna have her work cut out for her. Not only did she QUICKLY help me get over my embarrassment, she made me laugh through the whole process! Blanca spent her time mixing different sugars to find the right consistency that worked on me. She consistently pulled in the direction of hair growth, tweezed and performed aftercare on every part of my body which proved to me that she pays close attention to detail(and is very thorough). I can also tell that she is very passionate about sugaring and loves what she does, which puts me at ease knowing I'm in the right hands. Since coming here, I have noticed my pores are starting to shrink(I have strawberry legs), and those horrible ingrown hairs and scars I got from shaving are practically gone.
