I came here because the woman I usually trusted to do my brows moved locations with no warning, and I had heard that sugar waxing was supposed to hurt less. The skin along the bottom of my brows has always been the more sensitive area, and I haven't been to get them done in a long time, so it was EXTRA sensitive. The woman who did them was very kind, very gentle, but the waxing was definitely not. It felt like she spread the wax along the entire length of my brow and ripped it out in one go, which in the moment didn't feel unusually painful, but it hurt. It wasn't until I got home that my mother pointed out the tender spots near my eyes. They were very painful to touch all night, and now I have dark scabs marks around my eyes! The shape of them looks perfect, so I gotta give them props for that... Maybe it's just my sensitive skin, but definitely needed to share my experience for anyone with sensitive skin thinking about coming here to get their brows done. read more

My esthetician is Blanca and she made me feel so comfortable! I got a Brazilian and my underarms done with her. Blanca left my skin so smooth and glowing like never before! I have very thick hair and it now grows back fairly thin and even stopped growing in some areas. It's going to be my 3rd time going back and I will continue to come back to this place only! I absolutely loved the sugaring process! I've been looking for a place near me who offers the service because my previous lounge didn't and I no longer wanted to wax. Pros I've encountered with sugaring: 1. Less painful during the process. No clue why, maybe it's just in my head lol 2. Wax is at a warm temperature, so no burns in your lovelies 3. Clean up after is nice and quick since the sugar dissolves fairly easy 4. No rawness after!! I usually leave my Brazilians feeling a little tender, but not this time! No cons from me really.. but I guess you could consider the time. Takes a little longer to wax this way, at least during the 'virgin' appointment. But I won't consider this a con because Blanca was SUPER thorough. And being as it's pretty intimate to have someone all over your wooha, she makes you feel very comfortable. I absolutely loved her. I had my first sugaring appt last Sunday and it was a wonderful experience. The owner is so kind. I was even offered a little champagne to calm my nerve. Now, pulling hair from "down there" is obviously a bit of an uncomfortable experience, but my technician was just amazing! She explained things to me and she worked quickly. The best thing about the experience was the atmosphere. The salon was clean and beautiful. Also, soft music plays in the background. I really felt relaxed. Last, the owner made an appointment for me outside of normal business hours to accommodate me since I could only go on Sunday. So thoughtful! I will be back. I totally recommend this salon. I was pretty disappointed with my first visit and it's the reason why I'll never go back. The only reason they have great reviews on Yelp is because they are fake and from friends and family members. Seriously though a good sugaring salons that are GREAT don't need to offer deals because they are usually so booked from repeating clients. First off, the shop was closed when I got there, even though I had an appt. Turns out she (Blanca) was running late because her pedicure ran over! RED FLAG they don't care about their clients since they can't stick to a schedule after you've booked an appointment. Secondly, this isn't my first time being sugared for a Brazilian so I know what to look for. When they pull the sugar off in the opposite direction of hair growth that is a BIG NO-NO! I should have walked out right then and there but I stayed and let Blanca finish. Her technique was bad, slow at putting the sugar on, pulling the sugar off in the wrong direction, not to mention getting sugar EVERYWHERE. When I got home to examine the work I noticed she missed a LOT of hairs, I mean A LOT. When women come to you trusting them with their most private and delicate parts, the sugarista should take the TIME & CARE to do a GREAT job, not just horrible job. My suggestion is make the drive to AZUCAR and get sugared the RIGHT way! Trust me your lovely lady parts will thank you! read more

The best place if you're looking to try ''sugaring'' in unwanted spots! I saw a groupon pop up, and decided to see if the salon had any openings. I called around 1:00pm and Blanca told me she could take me at 2p. I also had my 2 year daughter with me since it was a last minute appointment, and she LOCKED the door to her salon to allow my daughter to sit outside while I got my ''sugaring''. That's seriously amazing service! Usually people will turn you away if you attempt to bring you child. It's a small salon located on a really charming little corner. It's the end of a train station looking building. The salon itself is really clean and the rooms are nicely decorated. Blanca even hooked me up with her WIFI so that my daughter could be entertained with her ABC nursery songs. The sugaring took about 40 minutes and she was very meticulous. It was slightly painful as any waxing type service, but she made me feel very comfortable. It's been about a month and I've had a slow regrowth and no bruising/problems since my treatment. I'm not familiar with the exact product she used, but it was organic and natural, which is a huge plus for me! Blanca will definitely be seeing more of me in the future. read more

I bring my two daughters, 8 and 13, for sugaring of their upper lip, underarms, and eyebrows (to remove the unibrow). I wanted a natural, non-abrasive method of hair removal for my daughters. I'm so glad I found this place. I tried sugaring first on my arms, and found it to be less painful than waxing! Michelle attended me and explained each step. I did get a red rash on my arms as a result, because it was the first time, as she explained. She applied hydrocortisone, tree oil, and it was gone by the end of the day. I dont get the rash anymore. Just the first time. Blanca attended my daughters and she explained sugaring to my daughters, and even had them taste the sugar, describing how natural it is. Blanca explained each step and made sure their comfort level was met. My daughters were very happy with the results, and now we are regulars. We definitely recommend this place. Had my first experience here and I'm definitely a fan! I haven't been able to find a good sugaring place in a while so I figured I'd try Rococo on a friend's recommendation. The booking process was simple and they sent reminders for the appointments, which made things super easy. Blanca was very thorough and made me feel super comfortable the whole time (which is hard to do in a place where you go to get hair ripped out of your body haha!). She uses the traditional sugaring method so no strips or wooden sticks, which is amazing because some places advertise sugaring when it's basically wax. Not here thank god! The pain was minimal, waaaaaay better than waxing IMO, and Blanca checked in to make sure I was good the whole time. And random though it might be, the office was a great temperature. It's a weird thing to comment on but when I'm sitting in rooms like that, the first thing I notice is how freezing and hospital-like they usually feel but Rococo was perfect. I'm not one to ever write reviews ever. But I wasnt really amazed by the service I received. I went in for the first time for a full face wax. When I got home I noticed a lot of hairs were missed. She showed me when she was done but mind you I was leaning back lighting wasnt the best. Because if I had seen that I would of told her that I still had noticed hair. Specially in my cheeks and in between my eyebrows and forehead. For a service that was 55 plus tip. I would wasnt really pleased and don't think ill ever go back. Also my skin under my eyebrow got peeled off. Thank God its only a little bit. But still I hope it doesn't scar. Also when booking an appointment it says it's an hour long service I was not in there for that long maybe 30 minutes or slightly less read more
