A polite staff was on hand to answer my questions. My arrival was at lunch hour yet the staffer was gracious and offered answers-even though my questions were in English and some broken Spanish. A friendly staff. read more

Each train station only has 12 lockers each (good luck!) and aren't as centrally located. It is right down the street from Praca de Luis Camoes You can hang out in the waiting room, print boarding passes make photocopies, etc. nice clean place and the guy was very friendly. Looks like about 1 euro per bag per hour, a little more or less, depending on size and length of time. Seems completely worth it if you want to enjoy an afternoon in Lisboa without dragging a suitcase around what must be the worst cobblestones and the #*$@$@$& narrowest sidewalks I have ever seen. Or just walk in the streets and get plastado'd by a nutso tram driver. You won't have to worry about your flight at all.
Great place to store luggage after checking out and waiting for evening flight.

Zilo (our driver to our hotel from the airport) and Goncalo (our driver back to the airport) were absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!!!! Goncalo even escorted us into the airport, got us into the VIP line (which we weren't booked in) and stayed with us until our last bag was taken and we walked to security. We will undoubtedly be using Amiroad for all of our travel & touring needs in Portugal. If you want first class services look no further!

Pedro, immaculately dressed in black suit and tie (always) picked us up in a spotless Mercedes van and offered us water (this was repeated every time we entered his vehicle) and loaded our luggage. We were taken around Sintra, Cascais, Batalha, Óbidos, Nazaré and Fátima among a few other sites around the country. As always, Pedro was very professional and extremely helpful and solicitous. Even in a country like Portugal with so many kind and friendly people, Pedro stands out. He was definitely the kindest and most helpful person we met on our trip. We didn't just have an amazing guide and fantastic driver, we feel like we made a good friend as well. If you need transportation in the Lisbon area (and now The Algarve), definitely use VIP Transfer Portugal - you will not regret it!
One of many MSC reviews…read more Quality/Quantity - We are now loyal customers with MSC. A great and inexpensive way to travel. For almost the same price as airfare, we get to do a 16 day cruise to France! On this trip, we also visited Canada, Portugal, and Spain, but you know all that because you are following. Anyway, this is a low cost company so I have low expectations. I still remember our first MSC cruise in 2020 from Italy to Spain, Portugal, Canary Islands, Morocco, etc. A week later COVID hit.The ship after us in Rome, Italy did not let people off; we got so lucky. That was an eye opening cultural experience. But it helped set my expectations low. In summary, one of my most relaxing travels. Actually, I think I got record sleep on this cruise. Also more relaxing since we have done many of the ports and cities on this itinerary already. Our goal was to really start our vacation in France. See my excessive pictures spread out in all the MSC ports from 4/19 to 5/4/26. Ambiance - A larger ship than I typically prefer, but with only 4k guests (out of 6k), more than enough room for me. But then again, I am easy going and have low expectations. The food exceeded my expectations. And it did last year in MSC Japan also. Service - Expected, you get what you pay for. Price - Affordable. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1987 and your parent's success since 1970. We already booked our next cruise with your brand. Sorry, I just noticed I never finished all my Japan Yelp reviews, including not doing the MSC Japan review. Hopefully I will have time in the future. Our first Italy MSC experience was a 3 star experience. Our Japan MSC was a 4 star experience.

I tentatively booked this hotel for later in our vacation but I wanted to make sure it was nice enough to return. Needless to say, I did end up staying here again and I even recommended this hotel to another friend we were meeting on the end lag of our trip. The hotel is about a 10min ride from the airport & it's super easy to get an Uber/Lyft. The website does say they have a free airport shuttle but I found out it's only from 6-10am (I believe) and come every 30mins. I emailed to reserve the shuttle but no one ever got back to me. I remember a rep told me that it's very easy to just call for a ride and that there's a taxi stand right out in front of the lobby. I ended up using a Bolt/Lyft all the time. It's very reasonable in Lisbon! The lobby waiting area is big, there's a restaurant inside, and the staff was very pleasant. There is a weight ma ch one for your luggage as well but it's 1 euro. The rooms were spacious enough for two people. The beds & pillows were comfortable enough. They do offer shampoo, conditioner, & body wash. I do wish they had USB chargers close to the beds instead of by the tv. If you have a universal plug adaptor, make sure you have a long cord for your cellphone. Also, I never understood the 1/3 glass partition in the shower. It's hard to shower without splashing water on the floor. I never understood that about Europe. For the price and convenience to the airport, I would definitely stay here again.

I should mention the Campo Grande subway station, that serves both green and yellow line, is just across the highway in front on the hotel. You can easily get to the "old city center" and many touristic points from here. Staff at the reception were pretty nice. Got the superior room, that was very spacious, with two queen beds, and a little living room area. More than enough room for my family of four. There was complimentary water and apples, but also some sodas and beers in the minifridge. Large tv with several channels, an electric water boiler and an iron and board. Bathroom was also large, with double vanity, a tub & shower and even a bidet. Overall, I think this is a decent place to stay, everything seemed well kept, but you can tell this is an old hotel. Not in a bad way tho, it had like a "vintage" charm to it. Both the restaurant and lobby bar seemed very lively, but unfortunately I didnt have the chance to eat or drink anything there.
